Yes, but it's everyone else's fault, Truss will try to insist!

Yep!
She (Truss) admitted "parts of our mini-budget went further and faster" than the markets were expecting.
She's blaming it on the (lily-livered) markets now!

Note the use of âourââĶ..if the chancellor was thrown under the bus, logically she should have resigned

Yes, she tried to dodge that part of everyone's questions in the press meeting.....in the end (after only THREE questions) she ran away. I think she was about to cry!

Meet your new Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for North Lanarkshire
I'm going straight to the top. Of course nothing I say will mean anything
I'll look convincing though

From what I understand of the rules and regs of this election is that candidates need 100+ nominations to go through to the next round. Presumably one of them could get enough to mean that the other two canât get to the 100 mark and therefore be declared the outright winner by Monday. So one possible scenario is that those MPs that are horrified by the prospect of the return of the disgraced Johnson, even though they might prefer Mordaunt, will bite the bullet and vote for Sunak
Monday is D day Justa

Fingers crossed JustOne .
I think it was said that there are 300+ eligible to back a candidate, which would mean a possible 3-way contest, but it is more likely just to be two. Still possible that only one person gets 100 backers and if so, we'll have a new PM by Monday evening.
Just heard that Boris has 100+ backers too!

Last Friday my daughter went up to London by trainâĶ..as she was crossing the concourse a gentleman and his daughter walking in front of her. The man suddenly collapsed banging his head on the tiles, blood all over the place. My daughter rang 999 and asked for an emergency ambulanceâĶ..nobody from the service answered the phone.
three transport police meanwhile stood around doing nothingâĶ..so my daughter went into a major hissyâĶ.asking them if they could stir themselves and do something, like put a tannoy out for help or perhaps ring 999 themselves to get an answer. Eventually one of the police said there was a paramedic on the premisesâĶbut it hadnât entered their heads to call him. Meanwhile the man was bleeding heavily and unconscious, his daughter was having a meltdown. They finally contacted the paramedic and he came straight away âĶ..20 minutes had been wasted.
beggars belief ðĪŽðĪŽ
