It's a pity he's up for eviction before a lot of the others but that blub-fest did nothing for me.  I don't like Pity Parties.

Not really a Luke A fan, but I'm reserving my final judgement until I've seen tomorrow's HLs and some more clips. From what I've been hearing, Lauren and Luke A have been subjected to a full-on bitching campaign all day (note that they didn't show us any of the nomination reasons). 

If true (and I emphasize if), I could forgive him getting a bit emotional about it...

I could be wrong but I think there is a deeper reason why he got upset. I'm sure they'd all like to win the money but for Luke A it would be used to complete his gender reassignment which is expensive, he probably saw this as the only opportunity to have enough money to do so

That could be another reason to be upset. Why would he want to be up against one of his closest friends. I think he held his own in the face of those wankers and I forgive him showing some emotion.

its all in the twitter thread - from waking up this morning Caroline went through the house and did a hatchet job on LukeA and Lauren .....  some or most of the clips were posted as well .........  ironically a clip of the Cowboys dissing LukeA was later remover by Ch5 

 

I feel Lauren is the stronger of the two and for this I am confident she will survive

If Luke was up against one of the Insiders he'd maybe have a chance of getting further - for hower long - but against Lauren he could struggle.

I wish him all the luck in the world in getting the money he needs, but that is not a good enough reason to just let him win, he has to be a good enough HM.

I understand what you're saying Vid, I was just trying to see it from his point of view of being disappointed/upset if he feels he's no chance now of being able to have his reassignment sooner rather than much later. I also didn't think he'd be the winner.

Sorry - but I don't think that's a reason to win - like the soldier guy and his new legs.    I don't see why that should make them winners - if that's the only reason they're on the show (which I seriously doubt) I'm sure they'll make some money on the back of the show anyway.   I just can't take to the guy.

Who do we think BB would rather be saved on Friday? Would they see more mileage in Luke and his story or in Lauren and her conflict with the other girls?

Luke A, nice enough guy, but a bit of a one trick pony.Much more to Lauren, she may be the one to put the girls in their place, should she choose to do so. There is fire in there!

and there in lies the problem with Lauren (well for me anyway) - she talks a lot about what she's going to do but nothing ever materialises - all she seems to do is run away to the toilets and whinge about why me?  

 

I really wish she had the courage of her convictions and stood up to the others a bit more - she's a target anyway so it's not like she's got to worry about being targeted for noms 

Where is the narrative going with Adam - is he the winning story? Who would BB rather be a part of his winning story; Luke A or Lauren?

 

Lauren has had a decent edit over the past few days - helped by the behaviour of Shievonne and Becky towards her. The Monday night HL show presented her as heroic stepping in to replace Ashleigh in the task and concluded with her having fun with Adam.

 

 

 

 

I can see Luke having mebbe a one off show on C5 about just this  - if it pays for his operation good luck to him   I just hope he makes enough money to pay for it 

Maybe if she survives the eviction, she will stand up to them more. Getting 7 noms and surviving, will hopefully give her the confidence to take them on. Well, hopefully! She will have to stop the whinging tho, i agree.

if she survives and I think she will, her confidence should sore and she should take advantage of it  I really do feel if she stopped whinging and took on the insiders, she'd gain so much more support 

I'm not so sure .... I suppose you could view it either way. Genuine, or not genuine. I'm not really sure which side of the fence I'm on? ...... but I think I err to the side of genuine. He needs that 100k for his op.

 think his tears were genuine - I think he found it very emotiokal being nominated face to face. A few tears in the DR is nothing compared to those pair of horrors last week who went off on one because someone dared have the audacirty to nom them.

 

From what I've seen both Lauren and Luke have behaved with great dignity.
