Instead of giving billions of pounds to banks that will squander the money on lavish parties and unearned bonuses, use the following plan.

You can call it the Patriotic Retirement Plan:

There are about 10 million people over 50 in the work force.

Pay them Β£1 million each severance for early retirement with the following stipulations:

1) They MUST retire.
Ten million job openings - unemployment fixed
2) They MUST buy a new British car.
Ten million cars ordered - Car Industry fixed
3) They MUST either buy a house or pay off their mortgage -
Housing Crisis fixed
4) They MUST buy Β£100 WORTH of alcohol/tobacco a week .....
And there's your money back in duty/tax etc

It can't get any easier than that!

Let's put the pensioners in jail and the criminals in a nursing home.
This way the pensioners would have access to showers, hobbies and walks.
They'd receive unlimited free prescriptions, dental and medical treatment, wheel chairs etc and they'd receive money instead of paying it out.
They would have constant video monitoring, so they could be helped instantly, if they fell, or needed assistance.
Bedding would be washed twice a week, and all clothing would be ironed and returned to them.
A guard would check on them every 20 minutes and bring their meals and snacks to their cell.
They would have family visits in a suite built for that purpose.
They would have access to a library, weight room, spiritual counseling, pool and education.
Simple clothing, shoes, slippers, PJ's and legal aid would be free, on request.
Private, secure rooms for all, with an exercise outdoor yard, with gardens.
Each senior could have a PC a TV radio and daily phone calls.
There would be a board of directors to hear complaints, and the guards would have a code of conduct that would be strictly adhered to.
The criminals would get cold food, be left all alone and unsupervised. Lights off at 8pm, and showers once a week. Live in a tiny room and pay Β£600.00 per week and have no hope of ever getting out.

I wouldn't think about voting for 'Stain' as prime minister yet Kimota... Yes, this actual body of text is absolutely brilliant,... and so is the content of the one before that he posted...

However, as clever and witty as it sounds, it's not Stain's original work or ideas.  I have read all this (that he has posted on here,) a number of times in the last few months, on various message forums.  Here's a few places it has appeared in the last few months.

So as clever and brilliant as this these words are: Stain did not write them...  None of what he wrote is 'his' actual wording OR his ideas..

Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrm with regard to the billions paid to bankers. You're giving it as an option - do we have an option not to pay them?  They seem to do as they like and there doesn't appear to be a way to stop it.

I too have had this e mail before and applauded it ...................................in theory it;s brilliant! In reality - where does the money come from?

Did he aCTUALLY CLAIM IT WAS HIS IDEA? We all post bits and bobs that we get from other sources don't we?

In all fairness, because the thread title is 'I could fix all britains money problems' then it appears the OP is claiming ideas as there own, if it was titled 'here's how to' or such then they're not claiming ideas as there own.

Well ...............anything to keep the forum buzzing IMO. I received the same e mail a couple of weeks ago ........................I almost posted it - it is a conversation piece TBH. I wouldn't have claimed it as my own original idea ......................I don't think Stain has done that either.

A thread that stimulates a bit of conversation is good isn't it?

Thank you Cinds...  Indeed, the thread title would easily give people the idea that this was the O.P's original work , ' I could fix Britain's money problems,' it said..... NOWHERE in his posts did he say where the wording had come from, or quote any links or say it WASN'T his wording....

Yes we DO all take quotes and 'bits and bobs' from things, but we generally tend to say where it came from, or give a link... Indeed, some forums I have been on, will give you a warning or a banning for quoting and copying stuff that is someone else's work.

No he DIDN'T say it was his wording, but nowhere in his posts did he claim it WASN'T his wording.  A couple of messages from people after he has posted, seemed to indicate that they thought it was his wording.. and I did too, until I got into reading it through, and realised I had read it before.

I am not saying he has done anything deliberately, or purposely misled people.  I am just making a point, as I am sure a few people would have done if *I* had posted this.  It just seemed to me that people may think this was Stain's wording, and it wasn't.

FM

In the grand scale of things ...............is it so bad? FGS ...........................he copied and pasted something that has been doing the rounds. Why would someone go all out to rubbish it?

In the past people have posted some awful things .................they come back under another name and all is forgiven.

This was a thread started as a discussion piece ................why go out to prove it's not an original piece of work? He diodn't claim it was and It's not like he's even got someone to back him up!

Not nice and not necessary IMO.
