It's 5 o'clock somewhere in the world right?

Hey Moomin!! Ive not been on for a few days as my comp was playing up, so Im not sure what your thread was about. I remember us both saying we both had kids waiting on A level results this week and GCSEs next week. My son got his Alevel results yesterday. He was not that happy as he only got a B a C and a D! The D was in Psycology, which he was worrying about. They had a new teacher in the middle of the term and she didnt seem to teach very well. He was always worried about the result; Turns out, nobody in the class got ABOVE a D!!! Some of his friends even got a U!! Anyway, Kent still want him, so he is very happy, although still pidled off.How did things go with your boy?
aaw, thanks hun. Yep, youre right. He was "expected" to get a minimum of a C in Psycology. Not sure about his classmates. I am proud, tho I know I will cry buckets when he goes, as he's my only son and was my first child!!quote:Originally posted by skive:quote:Originally posted by Little Miss Spurs:

Oh heck LMS, no-one above a D! If he got a B and a C in other subjects then I suspect he and some of the rest of the class had target grades well above that!
At least he's got the place he wanted a uni though so congratulations to him and you, you must be v proud.

Or maybe I'm mad...cos it was the tidy one that went!!
I'll have another go next year hopefully...the daughter doesn't know if she wants to and the 10 year old reckons he's never leaving home.
Now that'll make me cry!!

Hahaha! My 11 yr old says the same!
When we ask him about when he has a home and a wife and kids.... he looks disgusted and says that he doesn't want all that... he wants to live here forever
