He vowed to "go to Brussels and get a deal" that would allow the UK to leave the EU on 31 October.
So why doesn't he just go and get this deal done - and stop all this flapping around!

He's done no such thing. He's playing for time
As with everything he says - it's just a lot of hot air!
If he really meant most of the things he's said we might actually have a workable deal and be ready to leave in a dignified fashion.
I've been reminded a lot recently of a "joke" that's apparently been following Johnson around for a while:
"There are two types of people in Westminster: those who like Boris Johnson, and those who know him..."
