granddaughter visits (only 5 months) so really need to lose the smell !
My mum reckons you should cut an onion in half and leave it in the room. Don't know if it works, though.
I used to buy scented sachets to add to oil based paints, I can't find them on the net I've found this http://www.diytools.co.uk/diy/...-eliminator-50ml.asp and also adding a couple of bottles of vanilla supposed to work.

Sniff some glue. The smell will mask the paint and tbh you'll be so off your tits you'll not be too bothered even if it's still detectable.

it works! just painted bedroom doors and when daughter went upstairs she said all she could smell were the onions
