I also had one for Ashes in a glass - a new way of keeping your cremated loved ones - I kid you not
When I worked at local press years ago they ran a births, deaths and marriages section (the bit where people would congratulate any of the 3 with a paid advert). One bright spark of a new Publisher decided to set a sales target on the section and wanted the 'deaths' section to have more advertisers. How can you possibly attract more people to advertise a death in a local newspaper? And where do you find these people? Do you park outside funeral directors premises and wait for people with a sad face to go in? Do you go to crematoriums and funerals armed with flowers and gatecrash the event? Or do you just punch random numbers in the phone and ask if they are dying or have a relative dying anytime soon?
I got a disciplinary for arguing with the mad bint and suggesting that we give my team company cars so they can chase blue light ambulances and break into morgues.
In the end she got the tin tack for being stupid and my disciplinary was revoked (and shoved down her wrinkly E.T. neck).
