Each day I buy them a couple of packets of biscuits.
Today was Bourbon and Custard Creams, Tesco own brand.
The bourbon's went down a treat.
Which would you choose?

They're the ones for me Or a Hobnob with or without Chocolate wouldn't go amiss. Somehow, I don't think I'm a team player
I think I'm in a retro mood tonight ... going into the pub for our Tuesday night quiz, I would normally have a glass of Pinot or a G&T ... tonight I suddenly had the urge for a dry cider.
As soon as I saw this thread I thought ohhhhh, I'd love a Lemon Puff.
Like a dry cider, I don't think I've had one of those for 20 years!

Don't do it Rexi! I bought a packet of Lemon Puffs a couple of months back and my taste buds shrivelled with the sweetness onslaught!

don't they get sticky in there?
Well, that could be an option for Thursday. Not tried the team on Ginger Nuts before. They tend to favour chocolate based products. So I may throw a curve ball with a Ginger Nut !!

I do those types of biscuits when they are on offer, not that I'm cheap, it's just I buy a lot of biscuits for them and it could get expensive.

They sound interesting, got a link?

Jaffa cakes always go down well in the team. But don't last as long as the other types of biscuit.

Wow, that is so weird. I recently bought a packet not having had them for donkey's years. I now have a pack in my drawer each week. They are a good biscuit.

I'm with you, not really a biscuit person, but if I was, it'd be those and the ones with a thick belgian milk chocolate coating, oh and those Viscount type ones/ anything that deserves a foil wrapping!

Shortbreads are, imo, the king of biscuits... the only biscuits I ever really make are Nigella's recipe shortbread http://www.nigella.com/recipes...nilla-shortbread-234 Seriously easy peasy, take 5 mins and are real melt in your mouth crowd pleasers
Are we talking how long it takes to eat, as in: do you separate; do you lick; do you nibble the choc first etc. or are we talking what's left at the end of the working day?

We are most definitely talking about how long they last. The minute the pack is open they are gone. They have never lasted the day out. We tend to be "pop the whole biscuit in your mouth" type people..
I'm a Hob Nobber too I don't buy them very often because it's only me and the eldest who like them and we end up scoffing the lot.
Out of custard creams and bourbons it has to be a bourbon. Mario and Lisa put me off custard creams for life.
