I think I'm in a retro mood tonight ... going into the pub for our Tuesday night quiz, I would normally have a glass of Pinot or a G&T ... tonight I suddenly had the urge for a dry cider.

As soon as I saw this thread I thought ohhhhh, I'd love a Lemon Puff.

Like a dry cider, I don't think I've had one of those for 20 years!

Don't do it Rexi!  I bought a packet of Lemon Puffs a couple of months back and my taste buds shrivelled with the sweetness onslaught!

Shortbreads are, imo, the king of biscuits... the only biscuits I ever really make are Nigella's recipe shortbread http://www.nigella.com/recipes...nilla-shortbread-234 Seriously easy peasy, take 5 mins and are real melt in your mouth crowd pleasers

Are we talking how long it takes to eat, as in: do you separate; do you lick; do you nibble the choc first etc. or are we talking what's left at the end of the working day?

We are most definitely talking about how long they last. The minute the pack is open they are gone. They have never lasted the day out. We tend to be "pop the whole biscuit in your mouth" type people..
