I never saw or heard but I do wait to see..I remember when BB was on and I did'nt have LF and all the OMG's were going on..when I got LF and read all the OMG's while watching I realised there were alot of exageraters out there....

We watched SCD and then switched over to see the last few of X Factor. I enjoyed Danyl's performance as I love powerful songs, never seen him before and we don't read newspapers. So we had no clue what the judges were referring to re his personality, and had no clue at the time what Danni was talking about, from reading this thread I've learnt a bit more. To me Danni was totally out of order, whatever his preferences are in life that had nothing to do with his performance, she was so out of order and made herself look a fool and bitchy.

He was'nt singing about women..he was singing about his one true female love Mary Austen..his only common law wife and friend....

That's the first time I've seen that.  What on earth did she think she was doing?  I didn't realise she made such a big thing of it.  In fact, it was the core of what she said and with that sly, smarmy look of her face.  How odd.

I'm happy to speculate about the sexual orientation of people from the TV on a forum.  I have a vested interest, in a fantasy sort of way, but that's a very different thing to doing it as a judge on the show itself.

I don't understand why she said it, I'm just puzzled.  There seems to be a lot of quoting newspapers on the reality shows this year though - Brucie mentioning Alesha, Anton and the 'relationships' between the contestants, and on X Factor what the newspapers are saying about the twins and now Danyl.   I don't recall this happening before, didn't they just rise above it - or have they collectively decided to make use of the publicity?

For the record - I agree with Louis and Cheryl, he's NOT likeable (not to me anyway), but I'm worried because I do acknowledge he sang that song well and he's obviously been told to calm down on the jerky movements and constipated expressions, so he may go far.

I dont think he's that unlikeable TBH ..............I really dont see why the Judges have to bring it up - it's wrong to try and damage someones confidence like that. As for Dannis remark - it was totally uneccesary and completely out of order IMO.

As I said earlier, it was the wrong time to say anything, but why is it being called a 'slur'?
