I actually do feel sympathetic towards Faye.  Her dear old mum has basically said that her choice of men sucks, on national television.  I also have deep sympathy for the relentless crap that Big Brother / Channel 5 have put Aaron through.  It makes for very uncomfortable viewing.  In some ways it might be better if he is evicted this week just so he can get away from those unpleasant people.

I sometimes think I am watching a different show.

What I see is a sulky broody controlling man. He speaks to Faye like she is an idiot. He seems to have all these rules of behaviour - the girl burped for example ( and I am not talking about the task she and Jem had) and he threw the biggest hissy fit ever! He is a 30 year old man FGS!

Then there was all the debacle with Tom when he first came into the house. Tom is still very young and isn't sure of his sexuality and I am sorry but french kissing someone, cuddling them and going to bed with them is going to give anyone the wrong idea. Then he had the gall to moan when Tom got upset.

He is emotionally stunted IMO. Yes he is amusing but all this nonsense about channel 5 picking on him. Why exactly would they do that? Why is it, every series, we have a perceived martyr?If he didn't act like a twit then they wouldn't have any ammo.

He was amusing over the Jay and Anton situation but is certainly not the hero everyone thinks he is.

Well not in my opinion anyway.

I don't mind him, he's a bit prissy and I wouldn't fancy a relationship with him, but she was happy enough to latch on to him so (you'd think) she likes him.     Only she spends every waking hour picking away at him, testing the strength of his feelings, telling him he hurts her (I've never quite managed to work out what he's done - she picks up on any imagined slight and blows it all out of proportion)  demanding he apologises, even if he - and a large proportion of the viewing public - obviously doesn't know what for - and he does it (it's the way he lets her manipulate him that puts me off him, not what he allegedly does to her) .   One minute she wants him to declare himself and announce a 'relationship', next she doesnt' want anything in the house.   I'm with Senora and Erin, she's a mind f*ck and she gives women a bad name.   Having seen the sister and heard the mother, the most charitable I can be about her is she's obviously been brought up in a screwed up atmosphere - she needs some sort of counselling.   As to the martyr thing - I'm not a great conspiracy theorist, but in this instance, I do believe that Jay was lined up as the next Nikki... ram him down our throats long enough and we'll start to love him and will want to see more of him - and the 'old boring man' beating him to the winning post, doesn't really fit with C5s plans.

Oh don't get me wrong Kaffy - she is all that you say she is and more - she is playing with his head. But more worryingly I think she perceives that what she is doing is how couples act.

I just don't get all the Aaron love - he is a classic passive aggressive male IMO. He tried it on with Maisy, he really liked Louise apparently and now it is Faye.

I do not think he likes her at all - it is all a bit weird.

it's hard without seeing them on LF but surely that hissy fit he threw was because the Fridge Shitter, public dumping and public masturbation person, who he had already said he loathed because of the way he was. .ie a dirty skanky bloke, was burping and had got all the others to do it. . think Aaron was upset that his chosen girl thought Jays filthy manners was funny and joined in..  but somehow it was made all about just the one burp of just the one person..

as for all the bed hopping and kissing stuff there was a lot of that going on with all the HM's  too which was never shown but reference was made to it very quickly in passing on one show where C5 had made it look like only Aaron was sharing beds with people..

this is the problem with no LF. .C5 can make something look like what it isn't

I think Aaron has a dark side but he has obviously planned his game well.. and it is a game show after. .he's not been arrogant about it like Anton was and ended up being a total fail. .plus he is more intelligent about his game. .he also has a subtle sarcastic humour which is the only thing that sometimes gives away his darker side..  it lurks below the surface but I get a sense of it being there and not being nice. .still, a good game player  deserves a win I reckon.. does need to give up the bratty stroppy teenager tho and go for somebody his own age..

Harry and Alex seem to have good game plans too, albeit very different. .either of those 3 should win I reckon . . show C5 that thugs and disgusting animals are not role models and shouldn't be rewarded for that sort of behaviour ..

Agree Senora.    Kaffy's post is spot on.  Yes, Aaron isn't perfect, but he deserves better than that silly whiney childish little numpty faye and her grotesque and rather hideous family.  And yes I think she DOES need counselling, because she has been brought up in a family of control freaks...  What you've got to ask i guess, is who would you rather your daughter ended up with?  A man like Aaron, or Jay?    It's a no-brainer for me...

I agree with everything Eileen said.  From the first night I saw a deviousness in Aaron that I have never seen before.  He plays with Faye depending on what day of the week it is - loves her on Sunday when noms are coming and if he's up he loves her all week until Saturday and he falls out with her again.  Faye is not the only one Aaron has 'tried'.

He admitted to Harry weeks ago that she was all part of his game so now he's rumbled and can't cope with it.  

As for her Mother nominating him I would do exactly the same thing if I thought someone was messing with my child or my sister in Jem's case.  I am not a Faye or Jem fan by the way.

He treats Alex with total disdain.  When she was amusing herself the other night he told her to take her legs down because it wouldn't look too good in her best bits!  

I don't have any problem with game play because they have to do it but he should know that it never works - apart from Pete who had a dream.  Maybe he should sit with the others at nomination reveal and Evictions instead of sitting contemplating his next move he might enjoy it more.  He's wracked with bitterness and contempt for others who were only doing the same as him.
