I wouldn't say that. Most of the other housemates seem far more foolish than Ben. JJ with his random tantrums. Caiomhe with her snide comments. Ife with her constant meddling, etc. They seem far more foolish to me than Ben.

i think being your own man is admirable too.

it would be far more admirable if  being one's own man, didn't involve everyone else in achieving  it...

I think the others are doing that by ganging up on Ben....I mean why on earth did JJ have to bring up Ben not doing tasks for, that had nothing to do with todays nonsense.

If being his own man means thinking you are better than everybody else then yes he is. He ridicules their accents and their education.

because each time ben has insisted on being his own man, it has involved consequences for those around him, so that helps him achieve 'being his own man'

If the HMs had treated Ben nicely from the beginning, maybe he wouldn't be such a lazy and stubborn HM now. I don't blame him for not doing anything at all for a so-called team, that doesn't consider him a member...

i think theres a pattern nathan and jj being as nasty as they can stir up some s**t perhaps ben will walk and save them from eviction.

I think there's a lot of truth in that Han, I think many, especially of the male HM's, are seeing Ben as such a threat which is why they will never stop going on at him.  I have reached the stage where it would be a bit of a relief to me now if he does go.

Yeh I don't understand this feeling people seem to have that Ben is never talked about negatively on this forum.  You obviously weren't on late last night when ALL of page 1 of this forum was Ben related threads, some good, some bad.

I logged on this morning saw all the Ben threads and logged out.

I do like Ben and think he could try to have a week of not benefiting from the efforts of the other HMs if he isn't prepared to benefit others.
He could prepare his own meals from basic rations, wash up after himself and not have the treats the others win or meals they enjoy.

all the ben threads last night were just  fm's being silly because some one posted a thread asking if  everythread had to have  'ben' in the title...lol
