My sister lives in Connecticut and was supposed to be flying here today!!!..All flights are cancelled!!...
She has been trying to get another flight booked for 2 days...no luck so far...at least the airlines aren't charging for re bookings...
I just hope this thing blows itself out soon....and hope everyone over there stays safe...

My sis in law lives in one of the evacuation areas in Brooklyn , they're stockpiling rum to see them through whatever's ahead !
They're saying it's been downgraded to Category 1 and is weakening now, here's hoping .

Me too lal ... my friend's daughter is getting married tomorrow, then flying to New York on Monday for 4 day's shopping before moving on for a three week honeymoon. She's in such a tizz at the moment re the wedding and no one has the heart to tell her that the honeymoon is looking a bit iffy
