No it wouldn't. I understand that wildlife sometimes has to be culled because of over population or threat to other wildlife or humans. But to tear an innocent animal to pieces for sport is cruel no matter what standing someone has in life.

Of course it should, the law was only brought in as a class warfare thing, not in any interests of animal welfare, if it were then fishing, shooting, horse and dog racing, would be banned, but of course they are the pleasures of the labour voters.....

To me it has absolutely nothing to do with class.
Cruelty is cruelty whatever the class of the perpetrators.
And I'm not particularly happy about the other so-called "sports" you mentioned either.
If not banning then serious reforms need to be thought about there.
I don't like to see any creatures exploited and killed purely for amusement and making money on betting.

I also don't agree with bullfighting, for eg. I think for anyone to be admired for using cruelty towards an innocent animal should be ashamed. And humans are supposed to have the most intelligence?? I hope fox hunting and any form of sick pleasure like this is eliminated for good. It's proof that money has nothing to do with morals, caring and compassion infact for some it makes them believe they can do what they want, when they want.

Absolutely not, it is barbaric.
Where are the 12 people who voted that it should be legalised? Maybe they can give us reasons why they think it should be brought back?

Yes, I would very much like to hear their side of the debate Smiler

The only reason I wanted it banned was because twice I have nearly been written off as a result of double parked spectator scratters, on bends, on country roads.
As for the sport itself? Mostly harmless.
