One cream egg, so I voted for "a little bit".

Sort of. It's the only choccie I had in, but that's beside all the other crap I've eaten today
I had one of those great big boxes of Thorntons left over from Christmas. So I opened them today - ate four, gave the rest of them to youngest daughter and (new) boyf (on first visit here)
They have eaten the rest of them
I think he and I will get on well ... so long as he carries on loving my daughter and eating my chocolate so that I don't get fat

Hmmm, see, I think dumpling is something that pads out a stew, that my ole nan would make. That wouldn't go too well with coffee!!
What's dumpling, erin?

Ok, what's that? It's obviously a Scots thing and different to the suet dumplings we have in stew or broth
Edit, just seen the pic

I know!!!!! You are all staggered! I am actually beginning another (and my last...because I WILL succeed!) quest to lose weight. I lost 6lb last week and will not ruin it. I will be 40 in 12 months and am determined I will not be this fat when the big day arrives. I won't be slim, but I won't be this fat either!!!!

We've spoken of the kind of thing before. Clootie dumpling - sort of steamed pudding.

Oh, we do the suet dumplings too, but we call them doughballs.
Thanks Rexi and Summer
It's not been too difficult either...the boys are away with my parents this week and have taken all their chocolate with them so I don't even have to see, hear or smell them eating it!!!! The down side (for MrB anyway) is....the sudden replacement of choccie with fruit has left me a touch windy
