I only ask because I went to a Lebanese restaurant last night.
So when I'd had all my choices in the menu turned down because they weren't available, I opted for the the baked veg option. They were all yum. I'm not a veggie but often choose this option and indeed the stuffed pepper and aubergine and courgettes were great!
Except for the stuffed onion! It was horrible!
So I kind of started to wonder. Is the reason I'd never eaten a stuffed onion was because they tasted horrible or because it must be impossible to empty an onion in order to stuff it and therefore they aren't offered for our delectation?! I mean, how the hell do you cut up an union in order to empty it out and how doesn't it fall apart as soon as you have?! My onion looked intact apart from a stuffing entry (but it still tasted horrible)!
