Just going to have a quick shower and noticed that the water is not running properly through the shower head.  We live in a hard water area and they get clogged up I know, but as I mostly have a bath I didn't notice and my hubby just didn't tell me!!

I know there is a way of cleaning them because I have seen it done and what to use, but I cannot remember - can someone help me so as I can go and have a quick shower or should I just go and have a nice soak in the bath instead!!

Kim and aggie would tel you to soak a load of kitchen / toilet roll in vinegar then put it in a bag and mould it round the head overnight...then take it off and all the limescale will be gone....

thats what kim and aggie would tell you...

me...i like to milk my little rubber nozzles I use my nails to squeeze the limescale out one by one...passes the time while your in the shower.

Ohh i do love to milk my shower

I know you can get legionaires disease from not cleaning it,
Bacteria can grow in shower-heads where the fitting is made from a material that can be used as a nutrient source. When the shower is turned on, a spray of contaminated droplets is created. All shower fittings, whether used regularly or not, should be run for 5 minutes each week, passing hot water for the first 2 minutes

Jees thanks Crossy...I best do that Why you whispering?
I'm not sure, but 'toid and  you have reminded me.
Little Jimmy embarrassed his Mum by rushing into her ladies coffee morning shouting, "Mummy I want a wee!" She took him to one side and  said, "Next time calmly say, 'Mum, I want a whisper!'"
At a family gathering that weekend Jimmy calmly walked into the room and said, "Mum I want to whisper!"
His Gran said, "Come and whisper in my ear!"
