Govan would bitch with other people, as I said. When Josie and Govan were together, they would be bantering with John James, mostly.

Govan was a fully paid up oxygen thief who bitched his way through his time in the house. Josie would be hated if he was still in now because like it or not she is hugely impressionable and will latch on to anyone who will have her, or even someone who won't (i.e. JJ).

She didn't walk away, mostly, but she disagreed with what he was saying and told him she hated it when he was like that.

She's allowed to laugh at his ridiculous over analysis bitching, surely?

I just think Josie made JJ1 less volotile and he made her a better HM aswell but I think it would be a different story if Govan was still there....

It's strange how we can see thing differently, She plotted with govan, and he went off very quickly, so the only other choice had to be JJ1.

I have heard her countless times tell him that she likes Corin, Corin has a heart of gold, Corin is a lovely person etc. etc.

He  was repeating himself again tbh,his usual if someone's unhappy making out they're happy blah blah....Just because he's Doom and Gloom all the time is it so hard to comprehend others aren't....I'd respect her more if she offered someone sort of opinion aside from either a run of the mill I like him/her or laughing along.

But you make it sound like she's sat there laughing at how wonderful his views are.
If she's laughing, it's at the absurdity of his views, and she has stuck up for Corin, more times than I can remember.

She didn't say he was being absurd,not at any stage,do we assume that's why she's laughing then?...The night he tore Corin to shreds for hours  her and Caoimhe sat laughing along,after his row with Corin when he gave HIS version of events they sat in fits laughing,no condemnation,they laughed....Since the numbers have dwindled she does spend more time with Corin and tbh I find it sad how Corin has such a high opinion of Josie saying how she's never said a nasty word about anyone,no Corin but she sat in when a lot of nasty things where said about you.

Nor have I heard her at any stage at least try and make knobhead see sense about it,no instead she laughs which could have him assuming he's right and it's ok.

I've just told you that she has defended Corin, to him, countless times, and told him that he has got Corin wrong.

He knows exactly what she thinks about his dislike of Corin and I've heard him say things like, "You don't see it, I know", or "You think she's Ok" etc., before he bitches about Corin, again.

Why not tell him in no uncertain terms to STOP being nasty about Corin to her....He continues to do it because she PERMITS him to do it,she knows there's not just her hearing him be negative about Corin,we do too,does that angle suit her perhaps?

Hmmn,we have this every year what if so and so  had stayed etc..However this year has actually proven to me ,that some of the best/worst of this years lot that went would have made a much more interesting mix then what we have left with.

We have the utterly boring John James/Josie  duvet shoite..then the symbiote JJ2..who does..err nothing! Dave and his over the top flying into the sun shit...If only!
Steve who just sits there..Mario who frets a lot...Andrew   who is just desperate for anything!.Corin, who is okay but doesn't set the world alight.Jo who churns out platitudtes..ya get what I mean..Then there is Sam...the only one left in there that I like..

Even when she does get angry with someone, Sam, for understandable reasons, she gets accused of reacting badly to it, or even starting on him!

She doesn't have to get angry,I never said get angry...She can be assertive and tell him to stop,or stop giggling while he tears folk to shreds...Would anyone take notice if someone was laughing while telling them to stop/they're being stupid,gawd even a child wouldn't....She told him in no uncertain terms she wouldn't take his bullshine to her,he stopped,if she was as firm in relation to others he may stop too.

Sorry ,Josie is now everything I hate about  some  us women.."Oh He might like me.!"   Wilts and fawns all over the  nippy twat! Pah!

But why should she?

She's told him she doesn't agree, she's told him he's wrong, she's even told him to stop arguing with Sunshine, when he was ranting at Sunshine in his chicken costume, but she is accused lobbying against her, still!

She laughed at him both times that he's said he was leaving, because of her. She laughs and says "Stop being an idiot, John", and he eventually calms down and laughs about it too.

Then she gets accused of being cruel to him! 

I don't miss Govan. Also agree with Blizzie that Josie is the only one there who can calm John J down, she's also honest enough to call him on things she disagrees with his sometimes behaviour and attititude
