give it a rest Cupcake. .I read a thread yesterday which truly made me smile [I needed a smile at the time] and posted my comment about said thread and the reasons it made me smile one of them being about posting styles.. the other was cologne having a hissy fit for being ignored which she apologised for the next day for being a bit whiney.. it just all added to a funny thread in amongst the more serious discussion and cologne never came in ranting away at me for no reason.. unlike you

re the original OP..  I got here via C4, and the Support forum, which I had already been a member of since 2006, long before Bov found it, so it was handy to move over when C4 closed and everybody else went there as well, then there was the subsequent en masse transfer to Livecloud  followed by the more recent separation of channels to hoop.la..

ps I edited cos my grammar is rubbish and so is my typing and I tried to make my post make more sense. .but I'm afraid I probably only managed a D for grammar even after editing..

As far as I can see the problem on here is you will always get the few who try to out new members saying they are coming back with different IDS then all hell breaks loose,  other genuine members start being accused of being someone else and it goes on and on..tit for tat, I personally dont care who is who or has been in another life, would it not be better to give them a chance without feeling the need to out them .. they could be new members getting a hard time by someone who THINKS they are someone else ..

and after all this time in a forum that is not related to C4 in anyway anymore and is pretty difficult to find now it's been removed even further from Livecloud, where we got a few of their bloggers join up, I'd say most new people ARE oldies anyway.. truefact [almost]..  and I don't care if they are. .I just find it funny when people deny it

Now this has me intrigued

I lurked on C4 for years, from around 2002, BB3 , but could never vote in the polls, so finally joined  up. It was the first place you could find out who was up for eviction in them days.  I was baffled by it all, every other person seem to have Dermot or Nadia in their username at that stage, and it all moved so fast. When It came to BB6, I finally took the plunge and started posting.....since then I've  seem to have been shunted from pillar to post....


It was only after BB7, I realised the forum stayed open all year, I used to log off after the final, then not come back unt il the next year.

  Imagine if they'd actually closed the forum after each BB...I wonder would we all have gravitated back to it every year.  Or imagine if they'd kept Gen strictly BB talk only when the show wasn't on   it could all be so different now

It was much better when BB was off air. BB actually got in the way of a good forum.

BB7 was the funniest, it was like all out warfare, Us non fighters (IE couldn't  give a s*it about either Aisleyne or NikkI)  hid in the S-I-T and discussed knitting patterns and sipped coffee.

I was terrified of the SIT for ages, I found it safer amongst the crowd

I only ventured in one day coz everywhere else went quiet and low and behold there was Toots sittin in a jelly bath

I came over with the mass migration from C4. Worra night that was .........the last night of C4.
But, I actually started on the BB forum when I had a massive heart attack in 2004. I was very ill and that is the only thing that was on 24 hours a day back then, and since I couldn't go anywhere or do anything I watched and became addicted. I have had some of the best laughs on C4, remember the Lea thread, ...........Well I was booed on the way in, it was such good therapy I can't tell you. I have also "met" some of the loveliest people in forum land from them days.
