I was always critical of Davina presenting... but watching her best bits changed my mind, I called her out for being so biased but really she is just a fan like the rest of us. I think we would struggle to find a better presenter, like Davina or not... shes been around Big Brother from start to finish and you have to admire her dedication and commitment to the show. She came under fire every series for her presenting skills and could of easily walked away from the job as she was wealthy just after one series of BB, but she stuck to it and you have to admire that. I take my hat off to her (even though im not wearing one).

I said a few people the other night but they were totally dismissed. First of all I think Brian Dowling would make a great presenter, as would Caroline Flack.  Holly Willoughby was great on The Xtra factor which is light hearted just like BB, Ant and Dec are brilliant presenters.

I guess everyone has different tastes, Chavina just isn't one of mine.

Meaty would you not argue however, that impartiality is a fundamental skill of a presenter of a competition?

For crying out loud people, I was not suggesting that Belo take on the role of BB presenter.

I merely said it hypothetically, because Davina being a huge fan of the show was being attributed to her being the perfect presenter I was merely saying it takes a bit more than being a fan to be a good presenter, i.e. Would Brian Belo make a good presenter just because he is a huge fan?

You name some good presenters there... but they do have to show some interest in the show, Brian Dowling? Just because he was a good HM doesnt make him a good tv presenter... he could be worse than Davina. The others you mension are not as enthusiastic about BB than Davina... it would be crap to have presenters that don't watch the show and just pick up their pay cheque. I expect Ant & Dec are on mega bucks aswell, they present BGT and IACGMOOH, im guessing ITV fork out a load and Simon Cowell will pay a huge some to the pair of them.

Ie Being a huge fan of the show doesn't mean you are going to make a good presenter.

Meaty Brian had done loads of presenting since winning BB, he also has that sarcastic humour that makes a great host.

Well I rather have a presenter who is actually interested in Big Brother.

Its abit like Adrian Chiles presenting the football, the guy is decent as a host but is crap when it comes to talking about the game at H/T.

I rather think that you're missing the point. Davina was there at the very start .............before BB became the phenomenon that it was ..................she took on the role of presenter and made it her own before it gained the huuuuuuuuuuge popularity that is has now. She was there at the beginning and has loved and nurtured it.

When she started with the show she hadn't a clue how big it was gonna be ................she has stuck with it and loved it.

i for one am happy to have seen her present from beginning to end.

He once watched a goal scored as a result of a throw-in. He then asked the guest pundits if they thought teams should try to score more goals from throw-ins. I spent at least an hour thinking he can't possibly have said that. Did he really say that? Is he that thick? Yes he did, and yes, he is.

I love Davina she is BB for me and each to their own I say...........but she is IT

Soozy Woo, Davina was given a job, I think she was probably grateful for that I doubt there were many people knocking her door down with offers then.

Davina has been and always will be the best hostess for BB.. IMO

I don't hate her and she was certainly enthusiastic about the show! I did, however, find her biased and on occasions she was openly hostile to great HMs and very nice to vile ones!

 Wash your keyboard with soap and water. They are shieght and furthermore since they are currently receiving 20 million poond from ITV for their pisspoor progs I doubt that they would do BB.

Also IMO too.

Hated Davina since Makosi interview, It was UNFORGIVABLE. How she has so much ssupport I don't know.

Whether you lot liked Makosi or not.. how can you support the way Davina treated her???!!  Makosi's strength of character and the fact that she is a bit delusional has enabled her deal with it fairly well.

Why is it that this means nothing to you Davina fans?

I dont hate her, i just dont like her

I don't rate her as a presenter/Interviewer at all,even if she does love the show.
Especially as last night again she stated she loved Plook and Becs.

BB wouldnt have been the same without her, she has got on my noddle at times...but nobody can say she didnt have passion for the show, i think a lot of other presenters would have seen it as a job, she never . I wish her well in the future

I  wondered if she even watched the show at times. Her bias was outrageous.

I don't think she's the greatest interviewer (sp) of all times, but she loves the programme and I think that's more important.

I don't hate her; wouldn't waste the energy tbh but I can't stand her - although she never crosses my mind unless BB is on


She pathetically promotes any hint of a showmance, her biased interviewing, and that bloody gurning she does really wind me up.
