Some mental mates of mine are having their usual Eurovision party.....so I've got the boa out and ready NinjaMy dog's wearing one too.

I remember coming home after last year's and logging on to GBBF at around 3am......the thread about it had me in hysterics Laugh

Snacks and diet coke (diet because it tastes better before any one asks "whats the point"! Ninja).

Me and my son will watch it together and have the traditional bet on our favourite songs. The washing up will depend on it. I've washed up for the last four years on the trot. Crying

My musical taste is far to evolved for eurovision. Mad

I thought that, but I think Graham will do a fine job.
I watch it for the camp panto action. Laugh
But this year, it even has an act with a dancer in an all in one spandex body suit/gimp mask.I kid you not! Laugh Saw it in the semis, can't remember which country it is though.

Of course it's a load of old rubbish, Marg. But it's just soooooooo OTT and camp - especially the Eastern Bloc countries' performances. Compulsive eye-popping viewing Eeker Laugh

My darling Mam, bless her, used to love Eurovision. I even remember her buying a big ballad winner from Luxemburg back in the 80s ("Si La Vie Est Cadeau") - she had the thing playing at full blast for the rest of the year Disappointed

Volare was a classic, Marg.

Just checked on YouTube.....my Mam's all-time favourite is still on there. Have a listen when you have time, and you'll understand why I was practically deaf throughout most of 1983! Crazy Laugh
