For the first time in Big Brother history, the housemates will be sending Twitter updates from inside the House.
This morning they've been provided with instructions, which explained that they each have their own blackboard with space for 140 letters on it (this is the maximum number of characters in a Twitter update). They must write their messages to the outside world on the blackboards and take them to the Diary Room. Big Brother will then deliver them to you via the OfficialBB Twitter page.
"I've never used Twitter," said David, worried.
Siavash explained that Twitter is similar to Facebook statuses, and this seemed to make sense to most of the housemates, although David still looked flummoxed.
"I could say 'I'm really excited for tonight - I can't wait'," suggested Sophie.
"I don't understand..." said David, staring forlornly at his blackboard.
"You just give your message to the world. Whatever you want," Siavash told him.
"It's a message to everyone," said Rodrigo, concentrating hard.
"To the internet," added Siavash.
Housemates, the internet is watching you...
