Big Brother has given the housemates a vocabulary task to help them past the typically boring weekends in the house. Each housemate will be called to the diary room and asked to pick a letter at random. The housemate who names the most words starting with their chosen letter will win a "special prize"…
Charlie entered the diary room where Big Brother asked him to put on a cape covered in letters of the alphabet. "Eee I can't believe this!" he said excitedly, donning the cape. "Is it because I've been swearing too much? Is it like magic? Have I got to do magic?"
Big Brother then explained the task to Charlie, "In front of you are 26 cards, printed on each card is a letter of the alphabet. Big Brother will ask you to select one of the cards. Your challenge is to say as many words as you can beginning with the letter that is printed on the card. The housemate that manages to say the most words in one minute will win a reward."
Perhaps unfortunately for Charlie he selected the letter O. "Does an animal count?" asked Charlie, "Like octopus? That's all I can think of. Can I pick another one? Oh my god, how unlucky am I? I've probably got the worst letter in the whole world!"
"Ominous… Oscar… Octopus… Olive… Omen… Orthodontist… Orthopaedist… Orthoropodist… Oil… Olluminous… Odacious… Obnoxious… Oggressive?" Charlie listed to Big Brother.
. "That was rubbish, wasn't it? I don't know anything to do with O. I wish it had been H! Hotel, hanger… There's much more for H," he said.
So not a good start, hopefully the other housemates will fair much better…
