@*mollie* posted:terrible, son went for hair cut yesterday and hairdresser said it was zero income for 7 long months for her and her daughter who jointly own the little haidressers !
Very sad My son has his own business , and has managed to muddle through through , but I think he’s struggling a bit now
@Baz posted:She’s a pain to work for
yes she could have let them have their radio on low
@Rocking Ros Rose posted:awww didn't they get a business grant or something??? think someone who contracts for OH's work got £25000 -
Not sure, but I think there were a lot of hoops to jump through, not sure if it was just a loan?
let's hope it never happens again....

sorry to hear that, so hard a time...
@Rocking Ros Rose posted:yes she could have let them have their radio on low
Yes, she could have just politely told them to turn it down a bit

Yes I wasn't sure but it may have been a loan -where OH works they avoided the loan because of the hoops and furloughed staff
@Baz posted:Yes, she could have just politely told them to turn it down a bit
yes I think so tbh
@Baz posted:Yayyyyyyyy …..it’s a new Michael Ros
yayyy

@Rocking Ros Rose posted:covid problems will take years to recover but tbf think life has slowed down a bit which is a positive
Yes, I think we are in for more misery once the autumn and winter arrive
@Rocking Ros Rose posted:covid problems will take years to recover but tbf think life has slowed down a bit which is a positive
yes you are right there, I do think that's a good thing about it ...and also better hygience in public places and more poeple aware of the the importance of hand washing.
@Baz posted:Yes, I think we are in for more misery once the autumn and winter arrive
hope not, but I can't imagine it being problem free...
@Baz posted:Yes, I think we are in for more misery once the autumn and winter arrive
hope not tbh - think we have had enough -the biggest mistake to me is England being allowed not to wear masks in shops and public transport - at least I can work on line from home if necessary though
@*mollie* posted:hope not, but I can't imagine it being problem free...
Me neither Mollie

Yes, it was bliddy ridiculous about the masks !
found the 3 Polizzi hotels website...
not looked at it yet though, as it will spoil the ending tnight...
@*mollie* posted:hope not, but I can't imagine it being problem free...
no agree mollie - problem is England being mask less in shops etc - we live 12 miles from Chester and near Oswestry and Shrewsbury which is where we shop - +the hygiene will not be as good - we should have kept it strict for the winter and loosened up in the spring

It doesn’t finish until next week I think
@Baz posted:She’s not got a hope , cos second lockdown is coming Alex
oh yes, I'd forgotten about that ,oh dear...
@Baz posted:Yes, it was bliddy ridiculous about the masks !
yes cos in wales we have to still wear them in shops and public transport which is far more sensible to me its the rise of variants that is a problem
@Baz posted:She’s not got a hope , cos second lockdown is coming Alex

agree, as you know it is still masks in shops/transport in Wales, wonder if they intend to keep it that way through winter?
I noticed in parliment yestrday, the conservative side were mostly mask free and labour mostly masked. Wonder if each party were following their boss's different instructions?

yes the cases are slowing then rising and Drakeford follows the science - so sensible to keep them in place

good to see someone actually listening to the science figures, and so being sensible.
