I'm A Celebrity 2012

Darts legend Eric Bristow and Birds of a Feather star Linda Robson have both  signed up for I’m A Celebrity 2012, it has been claimed today.

Darts player Eric “The Crafty Cockney” Bristow has reportedly agreed a ÂĢ60,000 deal to jet out to Australia in November for the show.

He’ll be joined in the camp by Birds of a Feather star Linda Robson, who is  also said to have agreed a deal.

A source told The Sun today: “Eric and Linda are great fun and they  can’t wait to get stuck into the jungle shenanigans.

“They know they’ll have to eat all sorts of horrible things but they’re up  for the challenge.”

Stars lined up for the upcoming series of I’m A Celebrity are rumoured to  include Tory MP Louise Mensch, Corrie star Ryan Thomas and former Strictly Come  Dancing contestant Nancy Dell’Olio.

It was recently reported that bosses were keen to get Olympic stars on this  year’s line up.

According to The Sun, names on the show’s wish list include cycling champs  Bradley Wiggins and Elizabeth Armitstead, as well as gymnast Beth Tweddle and  swimmer Rebecca Adlington.

Other celebrities on the line are said to include Blind Date host Cilla Black  and telly chef Ainsley Harriott.

A source said recently: “We’re trying for a diverse mix.

Helen Flanagan

Former Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan has signed up for the new series  of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, it’s been reported today.

The 22-year-old blonde beauty quit the soap in February of this year to “pursue other projects”, moving to Wales for her footballer boyfriend Scott  Sinclair.

But since her exit from the ITV1 show, acting work has been thin on the  ground for Helen.

“The work she expected to roll in since February simply hasn’t and she’s  worried the ambitions she had might now be wrecked,” a source told the Daily  Star newspaper this week. “Helen decided to leave Corrie because she had  had enough and wanted to move on.

“Even if Scott wasn’t on the scene, she would still have left – it had got to  that point.”

Now Helen has apparently signed up for the new series of I’m A Celebrity,  which returns to ITV1 later this year.

A source told the Daily Mail today: “Helen was one of our top picks,  gorgeous, funny and she will be a real hit with viewers.”

And we’ve no doubt that Helen will quickly become one of this year’s bikini  babes, following in the footsteps of Myleene Klass.

A spokesperson told the newspaper: “We’ll confirm our line up in due  course.”

I’m A Celebrity 2012 airs on ITV1 in November.
