Is it nerve impingement?

I have that in my right shoulder, when it subluxes I get tingling and numbness right down from shoulder to hand. Never had any tests though, it was just diagnosed by my physio (as usual!)

Cheers, Leccy. They think there's some kind of nerve problem, yes. But they're not sure if it starts in the shoulder (which has some restricted movement) or further down the arm.

My cousin had that nerve test on Monday, the one that involves inserting needles into the muscles.I'll be seeing her tomorrow.

Never had the Nerve Conductor Test Demantoid, sorry can`t help.
At least they are investigating what`s wrong with your shoulder and hopefully they will soon be able to offer you the correct treatment. Hope it all goes well for you.

Oooooooooooooooooh - wonder how it went? Thinking of yoy deman .......i hate hospital tests etc. but .......always good to go and get it checked. It could be a simple procedure to put it right (hopefully).

i went for blood tests yesterday, was so proud of myself for being so brave cause I feckin hate them   only to realise last night I was supposed to have fasted   So I'll prob have to go and get them done again

They do ultrasounds on everything!  I have had dozens in the last couple of years.  Thank goodness they are pain free!

Thanks, peeps (although I'm starting to wish I hadn't looked at that info site, El Loro ). Ultrasound was routine although I won't know the results until I see my consultant. And I'm not due to see him again until I've had the nerve conductor thingy, which there's a waiting list for.

I have had this test Dematoid it tells them how badly the nerves are damaged.

Did it hurt? It sounds a bit grim.

Hi Denmatoid I am not going to deny it makes you jump as they do it when you are not expecting it,I got it done on my feet legs hands and arms what they do is put like pegs on were they are testing then they send electric pulses to the nerve endings,the longer it takes for the nerve to react they send a higher dosage which tells them the damage that is done, obviously the higher the dosage tells them how extensive the damage is, I am the biggest coward going but it is not as bad as it sounds good luck
