I personally like SAR, and we wouldn't have got rid of Nathan otherwise, but I think the good intentions behind it have been neutered recently - mainly by the large number of new HMs that have been brought in, providing easy SAR options such as Andrew and Sam.
Indeed, I strongly suspect that this change is due to the discussions and rule-breaks surrounding Sam. A lot of HMs have suggested that, given the ban on nominating Sam, they shouldn't bother at all and just stick him up through SAR.
Now of course, Sam may still be up anyway - even with the bans, he could still easily pick up enough nominations. However, as I suggested above, we could find ourselves in a double-bluff situation, with HMs not bothering to nominate him as "he'll be put up in SAR", only for them to find that there isn't any SAR!

Sam asked BB if he would be still in the SAR task ,BB said all would be revealed on Tuesday.

Good, why would John James go into meltdown when he knows that he will be up anyway?.


If I was a BB producer I would be trying to think of ways to get some deadwood out thats for sure.
