Yep they all want something out of BB....I just they would stop calling out eachothers game plan because its a game show and they are all playing whether they choose to admit it or not.... Big Grin

I agree. I don't think Freddie has ever shown any sign of thinking he is superior. But I *do* think that if he sticks with Bea, it could ruin his chances of winning. Frowner

I am a big Freddie fan, and have been since the start of the show and have never wavered once in my opinion of him. For those people who have accused Freddie of acting superior, I think that it is time to give instances of this because I have never seen it myself. Freddie is the most down-to-earth posh person I have ever seen or heard. He wears his education lightly, his poshness is low key, he never rubs his parent's wealth into the noses of the other less-fortunate HMs. Bea on the other hand is Freddie's opposite. She is on a mission to prove that posh people are not nice, that they are patronising, that they are out to show the plebs how to do things.

Please do not mix these two people up in your mind. Freddie is a good decent and respectable lad. If he was my son I would be proud of him and everything he stands for. Bea is a snotty know-it-all with a badass attitude to everyone and everything. She has no class imo, whereas Freddie is upper-class with manners, education and wealth. And he is a really nice kind lad into the bargain.

Big Grin

Well said Twee, why do people have to associate everything that Bea is and stands for with Freddie? He is NOT the only one she has got close to in there. Please stop trying to make out they are a double act.
You can't have it both ways though, Freddie fans blame Bea's negative influence if he does happen to do something disagreeable, he's either his own man or he isn't

Freddie has been his own man since the beginning of the show. He remains his own man now, today. When Bea has left, he will still be the same Freddie. Not even Bea can take away Freddie's lovely sparkly nature. Surely it must be obvious to everyone who has watched the show from the beginning that Freddie is made of stern stuff, being subjected to the worst sort of bullying, and never once allowing himself to become dejected. That takes rather a strong personality, and someone with great self-belief imo.

hiya PCE xx We are forum buddies and forum buddies are allowed to differ in opinion. It makes for a great debate, doesn't it? We will probably enter another thread later on and agree totally. I would never say anything derogatory to you PCE, nor any other FM, but will argue the toss in the interests of a good old debate. Here's a hug to prove no hard feelings .. Hug

That's where I would differ from you PCE. I don't think Bea has influenced Freddie at all and that he is the same person. He is a bit love-struck but his personality and strength remain the same, that strength that has seen him through much worse things than affairs of the heart. But I agree that he will be better off without her in the house. But then, so will all the others.

to an extent squiggle - his "hhhhmmmmmm " "yeaaahhh" "dude" etc comments are outwith his regular vocabulary I think - but once he comes out - if he analises the footage - he (hopefully ) will assess himself - and steer clear of women he will never have a chance with lol.

For someone with his education, his background, his home, he is amazingly down to earth. When I contrast him with someone like Kenny who did nothing but boast I am so impressed with Freddie. If you had him as a friend I think you would be a lucky person and what a pity that Bea is so shallow and bilious that she can't appreciate what a great friend he would make, instead of trying to use him.

Tom and Bea have ruined the show really telling the housemates this information. They shouldn't be allowed to watch anything before coming into the house, imo.

I have to say I agree. I am sure that when Belinda, Belinda, Belinda went in last year, it was a *punishable* offence Confused

But to be honest I think Freddie had gathered that he must be popular with the public anyway because Lisa and her gang kept trying to get him evicted and we kept him in Big Grin

I doubt he will win either as he is slipping further and further back all the time and I for one have wished for this since week 2.
Anyone but those two... Hell I will even put money on Charlie to win Big Grin

yes and me and I dont vote, I stopped filling Endemols pockets when Nikkie Graham was returned to the house.
Have never voted in my life but If I see things swaying his way I will be tempted to heap some votes on the other housemates Big Grin

Clapping Big Grin yep I will be keeping a close watch on proceedings and like you if needs must I will vote Charlie Nod Big Grin

Eeker

If you vote for that fake, sly, insincere Charlie to win, then i will be banning you from any further butt nips! Laugh

Only joking hun, hope you're well Valentine

Hi to all Wave

Freddie's still my number one, haven't given up on him,he'll be back on track once Bea has gone and i think that'll be next week hopefully Nod
P
I don't think he has changed, well not in a bad way. He has come out of his shell a bit more, but that is because he now has people he can hang out with who seem to like him. His confidence is not as rock bottom as it was, probably because he is not getting bullied anymore and he now can stand up for himself.

Good on him and I hope he goes on to win Thumbs Up

True, but he could never be 100% sure though could he? He would have known he was popular but there may have been others even more popular. If it's sussed naturally then fair enough.

Now everyone knows who's hot and who's not, for sure, it's not the same. I don't care who it's against I just don't like them knowing, personally. Ruins the game for me.

Me 2. Freddie's used 'mmm', 'aahh' and other inane comments on occasions to avoid stating an opinion. His 'faltering' speech pattern was then attributed to his dylexia but I'm not sure that this is true. I think that FMs who have given him godlike status have not done him any favours, and in a way, Bea's entry into the house has exposed him.

Hi squiggle, so pleased to find you on here! How are you and who are you supporting now that you have gone off Halfwit?

I had not got a favourite this year but I am now supporting Sophie. I feel that there are not many decent people in there to follow this year so I am backing Sophie who is the best of a bad bunch! Wave Hug
