Watched it on C4+1. Generally was pretty good, but my attention strayed part way through, then strayed back again.

Just watched it. Looks promising, I must admit. Love the ambiguity about who is or is not in the wrong.  I was worried that there may the usual assault of characters to be introduced to the viewer but in fact they were woven very nicely into the plot. 

I did think about watching this, I'm a Claire Danes fan, but I totally forgot! I think I should catch up and series link the rest.. Is it worth it?

Just got round to reading Grace Dent's review. She watched all 12 episodes in December. All she had to say was "bloody brilliant!" It seemed to get a good send off by other tellybox criticisers too! They are not always correct but even so it looked good to me. Is it worth us catching up with upstairs downstairs? Anyone? We didn't see a single hustle this time around either.

ooooh  glad it is looking good. .not watched it yet had a lot going on to tape last night so am taping it tonight on the repeat.. so many good shows have been ditched from the states lately that they need to get a few more good ones to replace them. .tho C4 have a habit of buying in the ones that get canned after the first season even if they are good

Don't usually watch that sort of thing, but it was very good. Definitely worth watching Sweet

Joe - haven't been watching Upstairs Downstairs but if you get a chance to see the last series of the Hustle you should - it was good TV as always

I enjoyed both Homeland and Upstairs Downstairs 

I wasn't planning on watching it but the OH had it recorded and I was bored today so gave it a go.  Very, very good pilot.  So good that I ended up *ahem* finding the whole of season 1 to watch and I would definitely recommend sticking with it.  I'm not even done watching the 1st season yet but love the fact that you really don't know if he is what she says he is or if she's just losing the plot

Myself and mr summer are enjoying the show, Damien Lewis does a great job of looking nutty Hope you're all enjoying the show I don't know any details but I've heard the end of the series was intense, addictive and superb

Definitely the best thing I've seen on TV for a very long time. However, I cheated last Sunday and watched the last episode on line, 'cos I couldn't wait to see how Series 1 ended!

It's good.

 

But The Bridge is better.

I have now caught up with it! Can't wait for series 2.

I have just discovered that the original version was on Sky Arts HD last night. I think that it is repeated on Saturday at 10:30pm. I'll give it a go.

We watched the first episode of the original Israeli series tonight. Excellent stuff! Looking forward to the rest of the series.

Part two tonight. 9:30. Nothing else on the box either, so no excuses.
