She looked well under pressure last night on question time when the question came, at times she was stuttering. I think she said she changed her mind to avoid any grief.

But more recently she backed civil partnerships and called for tougher action on homophobic bullying.
Tougher action against herself?Reference:

Anyone know when this gets repeated?
Much as I dislike her, I do believe that she has changed her mind.
I'm also glad that the Labour government got mucho credit for championing gay rights and equality, during their time in office.
It was quite a sweet ending to Question Time, last night.

I missed it Blizz....but it is refreshing to see a lot of them reviewing their ideas...I still remember all that 'This Lady's not for turning' rhetoric claptrap.

Exactly Brisket! You put just how I thought it....but much better than I could have expressed it

'This Lady's not for turning'
An unfortunate turn of phrase, indeed. I think Theresa May voted for Civil Partnerships, so presumably she changed her mind before the coagulation coalition was formed, and I do think a very large proportion of the population have had their minds changed about these issues since Labour came to power.
We do need to do more to tackle homophobic bullying in schools, as there are still far too many kids picking up nasty attitudes at home and bringing them into the classroom.
