so, bread butter, chips (french fries) then topped with bread? no gravy or ketchup or mayonnaise or something like that? I've got to admit, I'd never thought of butter on chips. The chips are warm, right? Doesn't the butter melt and turn the whole thing into a gooey mess? It sounds interesting though
I don't think you are missing much, Dave; there are few more revolting culinary creations than the chip butty.
