I always have foxes around here - up close to the house often and a stunning sight first thing in the morning leading their cubs through the paddocks on occasion but never once inside

Yep! Inside and clearly was checking the joint out for a nice place to sleep! It was only when I caught it out doing my bit of the circuit that I realised!  I think it was a youngster, but even so! Feck!

What circuit?

What circuit?

I knew I'd need to explain this, but it's late so this may not come off erin.  So, I have a flat where there are two doors in the living room (where I have two large patio doors) on. One door in the living room is near the patio doors but if I'm on the sofa I can't see animal life wandering in or out unless they complete the circuit and pass me on the way out again from the door behind me. Think about it like a square. My patio doors are at the top. There is a door at the top of the left part of the square into my corridor and into the circuit but I can't see if animal intruders come in that way. Once in, they are able to wander down the left side of the square, in the door at the bottom of the left side, across the bottom of the square and then they finally hove into view as they pass me on the right hand side of the square on the way back to the top of the square and the patio doors again. Clear now?

And yes. If I knew how to download a pic I would have to avoid this. *collapses in heap of failed descriptiveness*

But this is how you get foxes laid indoors. I'm certain.

Just so you know Xoci Mr L thinks I've lost the plot, totally,,,,Got a piece of broken glass in my foot last night hence the quick departure, got it sorted went to bed and actually took a fit of laughing. Mr L woke ,none to pleased but he is no position to talk, asked me what was funny and I told him it's nothing just a little thing about ninja foxes trespassing in someone's house looking to nest and lay their eggs,he sat bolt upright in bed and said *Run that past me again* .

You can reassure him I have, as yet, found no eggs Lee.  I hope he rests better for that!
