Me too, that's was how our discussion came about - I think.
The longest film career of any well known film actor has come to an end. First film made in 1926 and regularly made films until very recently. IMDB shows that he is in another version of Jekyll and Hyde which is being filmed. He appears as a character called Mr Louis.
I love watching films like this.
I see a Declan Donnelly similarity with the young Mickey Rooney in this film .

He was good in National Velvet. Sounds like he led a full life with eight wives, though the alimony made him go broke lol.
Erin yes I can see a resemblance, now you mention it. 
I hope one of the terrestrial stations decide to have a Mickey Rooney season of films. I would like to catch some of his work.
