I love it, I'm on it constantly, but I think it'd be a true relaxing holiday experience to leave it at home!
What do you think?

it depends on whether you're going abroad or on a staycation in the UK.
If you bring it with you the temptation might be too great to use it and if you're abroad, you need to be aware of how much it will cost to send/receive txts let alone playing with the damn thing.
It won't be much of a holiday if you have the bliddy thing attached to your ear.
My advice would be to leave it at home and give your iphone a holiday as well
If only ! Best taking it tho, just incase of emergencies, hoping of course there wont be any. But you just know something will happen that you will just be bursting to tell everyone, and you wont have your phone
Unfortunately we can never go away mobile free because we run our own business. Pain in the arse some times but it's the only way we can get any significant amount of time off together.
The phrases 'relaxing experience' and 'being parted from my phone' do not make sense together for me. Not that I really use my phone much.. but it's like my security blanket.
nah. it comes with me (I'm self-employed too) but I do screen my calls and respond to urgent emails.
I'd bring it, but disable the crap out of it so you could only receive calls
There was a time before mobile phones were invented when people went on holiday and the world didn't come to an end.
Leave your 'phone behind. Don't take it.
I dare you!
Double dare
Double dare
We are evil.
Think of it as giving the other passengers a chance.
EDIT *cough* I really should read entire threads before butting in
A difficult call, according to your situation is for the best. If you run a business or are worried about relatives then take it, if not, it's best to leave it. If I was going abroad, this year, I think I'd leave the phone, if I was going anywhere in this country, I'd take it with me, but not have it on my person all the time.
leave it Sweet, I dare you
but.. think of all the important calls you might miss!!!!
Ah.. but that's just because you have your phone with you.... the very day you leave it at home is when that life changing call comes through.
(no, I don't get them either, but one day I might!)
I am
.
Just thinking about you Sweet
when i were a lass ;;; many moons ago.. it wasnt an issue cos they didnt exist, in fact we didnt even have a house phone.
Leave it at home - definitely
Mind you - I only get about one call a month on mine - so it's never any hardship for me!!
My boss is currently in Malta and we've had no end of texts from his blackberry...I've now told him to sod off and concentrate on his budgie smugglers.
My Iphone is surgically attached to my person... I can't imagine not taking it with me..
I take my phone away with me so that I've got it when we get back to the airport when we get home, but I can't imagine anything that would make me turn it on whilst we were away - I would be SO angry if anyone bothered me whilst I was on holiday.. I always leave the name of the hotels where we are staying with my Mum, so if there was ever a real emergency, she could contact me.
I take mine with me because my mother is constantly losing the number of the house where I stay in Japan, so the only way she can contact me is on my mobile.
