He does seem to think it is bad, but doesn't want to let go of it, just wants another space to "Put it"..............

Yes.... but  I suppose it is a case of respecting his human rights or something....... but  surely they should be able to  do something on health and safety

Sorry, but to my mind, human rights don't come into it here. It's a fire and a health hazzard not only to himself but to others in the village too 

I agree Nuts.... I wasn't saying that was my personal view.... just that I expect that that is  why the doc couldn't get involved....
