They did say on one of the vids that Callum would be safe as would the twins ,they think Dan would be in trouble .I am not surprised they picked Dan.

Of the three he was the obvious choice to me. Sam's mate is Callum but no way would Sophie want him in that room with her, the twins are Sophie's pals but Sam wouldn't want them on principle. So Dan was the middle ground.

Cheeks thing?

It's Callum's tell. When he's trying to pretend he's not bothered but is actually raging or upset, he does a weird thing with his cheeks.

What does that mean?

It gives away his real feelings.

Well, no: that's not the impression I had. Lurking through DS all afternoon, there were frequent hints that they might choose Dan. Basically, Sam wanted Callum, while Sophie wanted the Twins, so to avoid conflict the one they could mutually meet half-way on was Dan...

I agree.

In that case I'd prefer Sophie to go... the whole house reckon she is a safe bet for the final. If she goes the shock will be immense

Yep, he sort of chews his cheeks on the inside and the muscles outside his face tense too.

Day 40: Dan joins the Safe House and faces eviction

After much deliberation and VT watching, Sam and Sophie have chosen Dan to join them in the Safe House, ditching Callum and the twins as options. As far as housemates know, this is a great moment for Dan. Little do they know it's a disaster. He will now face the public vote, along with the equally oblivious Sam and Sophie.

Rewind...

After Jackie left on Friday, out of respect for their niceness, housemates put Sam and Sophie into the Safe House where they would enjoy luxurious surroundings and - apparently - immunity from this week's nominations.

However at this moment the public learnt that this was the latest secret and lie and Sophie and Sam had just been put up for eviction.

You try to do someone a favour...

As an extra twist, Sam and Sophie were yesterday given the task of choosing another housemate to be 'safe' from eviction. They have been taking their great responsibility seriously, whittling names down to their favourite trio when deciding who to, as Sophie poignantly and inaccurately described it, 'share the good life with'.

Finally, this evening, Big Brother called all housemates to the sofas and told them another lie to explain the lack of nominations this week. New lie: all bar those in the Safe House will be facing eviction.

Sophie and Sam were then asked for the name of the housemate to join them.

Dan looked quietly thrilled as he was told of his fate.

"I feel really weird," he said.

You'll feel even weirder when you know the truth, Mr Detective, sir. We feel pretty weird ourselves with all this misinformation flying about.
Voting lines are now open. For all the details you need head over to www.channel5.com/bigbrother/voting

It's a worry that there's 2 'safes/radar dodgers' in the mix.  I don't feel riled or that strongly about them to care - so I won't waste any lazy effort on voting for them.

If everyone's as apathetic as me, we're in trouble

I think there is some deluded support for the pair of them around the web....Sam will probably get the Welsh vote anyway, so it'll be between Sophie and Dan...and Dan is quite popular

Kaytee

Cosi I agree with you, I don't really care who goes out of them. Sam, I don't know him at all. Sophie, other than her bitchy remarks about Dexter, she might as well not be there. Then we have Dan, we've seen more of him and he seems to second guess BB too well, I'm sick of him telling us all what BB are doing. He's supposed to be in the dark

Any of them could go.

This is one of those situations where Vote-to-Save would come into its own (and I must admit I seriously thought they might do a one-off VtS this week).
With VtE, Dan's at risk, but he'd almost certainly be safe with VtS...

I think it's as Kaytee said - they each have little possee's dotted around the country.  Those that like the dull innofensive sort 'nice' types will probably vote for Sam or Sophie to stay in.

Dan - you either love or hate him.  It's down to whether his know it all gob is a winner or not.

I still think he adds more to the house set-up than the other two.
