TBH though, I suspect many of the other HMs were secretly thanking him for speaking out there. I took the subtext of his comments to be "We're all tired and want to sleep, so could you leave off the gossip till tomorrow, please?"

I totally agree with him re the Twins, but I must admit I was a little moved when Sophie's boyfriend entered the house. Mind you, a lot of that was down to her - unlike the twins - not using it an opportunity to discover how she was being perceived outside...
