I totally agree with you, it took me awhile to warm to Gina and yet I may well vote for her in the final!

Yeah, it's elling things people don't really need, but that's not the same as flaunting wealth or bragging about how much you spend. I happen to know a few millionaires, but none of them would brag about it, and unless you saw their houses, you would figure they were just average middle class.
