I've been thinking about all this and there was ONE small chink where she could have shown an alternative reason for her apparent behaviour, but tonight's HLs just exploded that chink.

More likely that she was bullied it tends to be the bullied ones that continue that into their later life like when abused children can in turn become abusers.
