So do crows, Sparrow Hawks, and the most aggressive bird in a garden is the Robin. Nod

They are aggressive little buggers aren't they... there were two males having a war over our garden... one of them won... we found the others headless body on the ground (did wonder if the head was mounted in the winners nest or something!)

Alison Wonderland Mad
I posted this on another thread, don`t know if anyone saw it. I`m now absolutely convinced that Charlie is playing a great big game. He was born and brought up in a place called Whitburn 2 miles along the coast from me, his family still live there although I believe he now lives in Newcastle, and one of the first things anyone from here knows is that Lewis Carroll wrote Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass when he used to stay there on holidays. There is a bust of Lewis Carroll in the local library and there was a statue of Alice in the local park (until someone stole it). There is no way he would not have been taught all this at school and he would probably have seen the statue regularly Nod

I rescued a young one when I was a girl... (under the instruction of a local bird sanctuary... they used to send me the 'food')... they are beautiful.
