I'm leaning towards this way of thinking too.
His sillyness was because he's upset over everything else. He's not been perfect - far from it...but, I dunno, I don't feel like hanging him for an immature outburst.

I quite like her stirring. She won't win any votes from me but I enjoy it when she goes straight in on people with direct (and wind up) questions or comments.

She regrets kissing Siavash as she now fancies Tom.
However she didn't tell Siavash that she wanted to cool things between them because she wanted to target Tom, but in order not to cause disruption in the house.
Tom, luckily, escapes before Noirin can get her claws into him.
Noirin is upset that she didn't get a chance with Tom and talks Sophie's hind leg off about it for several hours.
Noirin decides to make the best of it and get back with Siavash, who doesn't even know he was dumped for a short while.
Marcus demonstrates that he is ignoring Siavash by storming into the room, glaring, and storming out again.
