Hicky.. well I hope the weather is a bit better up there for you to get on with your veg garden, than it is here. it is grey and very windy here.

Emptybox... shame the weather yesterday has meant you are getting behind,but at least it gave you time to catch up on your viewing.

Our garden has become overgrown very quickly. OH doesnt like cutting grass when it is very damp. And it is awful grass, full of weeds. Not worth bothering about in view of the fact the house is rented, and now up for sale again. A fact that the landlords have not even bothered to tell us about.

I have had a busy day at work today all the guys from R&D are back so they wanted me to sit and brainstorm with them, good grief I learnt alot and now my head hurts
Some one wants to read all the poetry I've written so will have to print it all out That's going to take ages. Really need to find out about how to copyright it all before it gets pinched

What a day!, got my hair cut then went to Birkenhead to see about a new desk for my Puter but they said best look online.

Had visitors so was entertaining/looking after a 2 and half year old lad.
Did a bit of work in the garden but it was very windy.

Have got to get a couple of wooden posts to support my netting to grow the pea's and beans up.

Put a new ceiling fitting up in the little bedroom, which is going to be my Puter room when it's done.

Have just washed some salted peanuts and dried them in the oven, hard to get unsalted ones it seems.
Don't want them too salty for my peanut brittle.

I think the shop was saying that they only hold a few items and that if I go online It saves going through the catalog's in the shop Emptybox.
We ordered online in the end, got a new desk and a bookcase.

The wind was even stronger here today, but I defeated it.
I wore my woolly hat instead of my cap. The wind had no chance birling that.

My copy of Ash's autobiography arrived today and I've read a few chapters so far.
A bliddy good read, I have to say.
She's guest hosting a radio show on Talksport radio from midnight tonight (in about half an hour), so I'll have to remember to turn that on.

Hope this wind dies down it's blowing my garden to bits, I have to run round picking things up that have blown away.

My new cold frame was blown 30ft and i'd put a house brick in each corner, but left some of the cover open, that was a bad move, it lifted the lot, i've added more bricks now to hold it down.
