Afternoon Mollie and Hicky  The frost has finally gone , so I actually got a decent walk in this morning , without worrying that I was going to go base over apex! Aside from that I’ve changed the sheets, done two loads of washing , popped to the shop ( finally) , and fed the wildlife . So my usual exciting Sunday .I hope everyone else is enjoying theirs , whatever you are up to.

Mollie , we’ve spoken …..just look after yourself, rest up and try to eat something if you can .Hicky, I hope the ice ring has melted now ….it has here . I used to love tinned mandarins , but sadly they have had to go the way of many things I used to enjoy ! Have you tried M&S buttered cooked chicken slices ? I really like them, and they are handy to keep in for the days I don’t feel much like cooking . In fact I had some with chips for lunch today .And I really like the M&S poached salmon too .

Well it’s DOI and Pottery Showdown for me tonight , so a nice relaxed evenings viewing. Have a good evening Hicky , and Mollie I hope you ( and the family) feel a bit better tomorrow .

Spoke to Mollie, sent her a few vids of the Fox roaming around in the front., hope she is better soon, awful being ill and the hospitals are full of cases, get well soon Mollie.

Glad you managed a good walk Baz, cant do any walking here, you wood need ice skates on the pavement.

My lad popped in for a chat, the snow and ice is still the same here, my front and back still looks like white ice, hoping it will go tomorrow as temps rise.

I gave him 4 packs of saltfish i bought him, having a pack for brekkie tomorrow, i had a M&S   2 M&S Spaghetti Bolognese £7.50, wow it was very nice, glad i got 2, will go back on next order, had one of these the other night, also lovely 2  M&S Steak Casserole with Dumplings & Gravy £9.00, still got a few meals to try but can't really go wrong with M&S.

I'm going to record DOI & the series so i can watch in my own time.

I tried the grill on the air fryer toaster oven, its called a Broiler because in some countries a Grill is the direct heat from below like on a BBQ etc, so it is to avoid confusion, they probably sell more to the US than they do to the UK.

You are on a new page, nearly missed you, did you see my Ocado delivery, its so hard to decide what to buy, i got another beg of chips as they are so yummy and easy to cook in my air fryer.

Good afternoon Mollie & Baz.

Hope Mollie & family are getting back to normal, nothing worse than being laid up and stuck in the house.

I wasn't keen on the 2 M&S Cod Fillet in Parsley Sauce Mini Meal £6.00, nothing wrong with it, but would prefer more taste, fish has almost no taste so you rely on the sauce, parsley is just a bit bland, not bad for £3 though really.

Having the  2 M&S Lamb Hotpot £9.50 tonight, well 1 of them of course, the temperature & time it says is what my Bake option on the air fryer says, 175c for 25 mins, but of course i can change if need be.

I did a nice brekkie in the air fryer, used 2 levels, 1 level i had 2 hash browns, 4 sausages, 6 x 1/2 streaky bacon rashers, the other level had 1 tomato halved and 1 egg to fry., i should have only done 2 sausages as it was too much for me, i can finish off with the broil setting as that is the grill and is very powerful.

I've taken the rubbish out to the bin, not really enough to go to the road really, i'll leave it up to my neighbour to decide whether to put it out, the recyce is 2 weeks behind as they didn't come last week as the place was snowed/iced up, so the bins would probably been stuck to the pavement.

I've got darts Tuesday and Friday night on ITV4 World series of Darts from Bahrain 5 till 9pm on Thursday, Luke Little defending his title he won last year.

Have recorded DOI, i hope.

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky  A sunny day here, although it was frosty first thing . Thankfully I had a better night , so I enjoyed my walk first thing .Apart from that I’ve not really done a lot , just some washing , fed wildlife , and did a little bit in the garden ( swept the back patio) . Spring is definitely coming cos my spring bulbs are poking through .I hope everyone else is having a nice Thursday , whatever you are doing .

Mollie , I hope you are continuing to improve, and that you are managing to eat a bit more . I was sorry to see young Ben go last night.Hicky, glad you didn’t lose your post . Have you tried the M&S battered cod , or haddock fillets ( non frozen) ? I really like them .Sounds like you’ve got plenty of options v viewing to keep you busy .

Glad your night was OK, and you got a walk in Baz, weather reasonable here but didn't go out.

It seems early for the bulbs to appear, unless it's the mild winter so far.

I think i've had the battered cod so,e time ago, i love it freshly cooked from the chippy, but it didnt live up to my expectations the last time i bought it ready battered to cook myself.

I can cook a nice brekkie in the new air fryer, it has such a great internal dimension that i can use 2 oblong enamel cook trays side by side and have enough room for any food i choose, did 2 big Plaice fillets for tea, wow, so nice, didn't read it said for 2 until i had opened the packaging so it was 2 late so i had portion 1 and portion 2, i had oiled it and seasoned it then put some lemon juice over, so tasty.

I had another post delivery that wasnt for me, i cant catch them posting so the lady who delivered my Meds said she would post it in a letterbox for me, i had written on it that it had been delivered in error.

Afternoon Mollie annd Hicky  Another overcast , damp and chilly here today . A mediocre night , but I feel better today so I got my walk in first thing .Apart from that , I’ve cleaned the kitchen, done the duvet shuffle , two loads of washing and fed the wildlife , so a more productive day chez Baz.I hope everyone else are having a good Saturday, whatever you are doing.

Yes, the air fryer is super, cooked a Poussin today for tea, so many options to choose how to cook it, i didn't bother with the rotisserie as it was easier to spatchcock and roast in the enamel dish lined with foil.

I'm watching the indoor bowls this week, every afternoon, they are so clever.

I will record the inauguration to watch later.

Will finish off the Poussin and the veg tonight for tea, a tin of veg and pots does 2 meals for me and is cheap enough.

Glad the weather is a bit warmer and night temperatures around 3 to 4c with the day 5 to 9c this week.

I've been watching the indoor bowls on each afternoon this week on BBC2, they are so good.

Its very wet and dismal today, temperature up a little next week.

Enjoying this arir fryer as its so versatile, not much it cant do anyway.

I intended going later , but then I was notified that I have two deliveries due , so I didn’t dare go out ….of course the bliddy things haven’t come yet ! 🙄😡😡 Consequently I’ve not really done much , just fed wildlife, emptied the bins , hoovered and done two loads of washing . I hate that as well, waiting for a delivery that doesn't tuen up, even worse if you don't feel so good and you miss your walk.

Weather miserable here, hate winter, i would prefer 2 summers.

The bowls is good to watch as so many programmes are just repeats, but i have darts for Fri/Sat night.I realised today that my small enamel baking trays work in the air fryer and on the induction hob, which is very handy, of course i line them with dual foil/parchment to keep them clean as i can just bin the liner.

I must say, the (Ocado 4 x Large Seeded Burger Buns £0.90) are fantastic, wow, i had one filled with cooked dry cured streaky bacon and a fried egg, oh wow, what a delight.
