Evening Mollie & baz.

Sorry to hear you wearnt feeling so good today Baz.

I got some greek pork kebabs on my Ocado order, i separated the slices of shoulder pork so i could freeze them.

My big Ocado order came, nothing missing or subed so happy with that, it was Β£148 after i sent back 10 bags.

I've got Darts on ITV3 tonight and tomorrow, have got the F1 recorded as its on Friday to Sunday, have got the Brits and Campers recorded but cant watch while the darts are on.

I got another letter from the hospital about the CT scan, it said the same as the one i got on my phone except this one had a piece of paper stapled to it which said dont got 30 minutes early like the other letter said, which could mean i'm not having a dye in my blood so dont need a Canular fitted.

I had a beef suet pudding for tea, might just as well had a Pukka pie, the pudding was Β£3 the Pukka pie is Β£2.

Hope Mollie had a good day.

Hicky

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky  Funny day weather wise here …one minute it is overcast , then briefly sunny, and then we’ve had some brief showers …more like April than June ! I had a decent night , and I did get a walk in  , and I’ve done the duvet shuffle , two loads of washing, and hoovered . …so not a totally wasted Sunday .I hope everyone else is having a more exciting day than I am .

Mollie , I hope  you are having a good Sunday , and that your knee is a bit better today .That sheet is lovely , by the way .I am looking forward to teatime club this week.Hicky, glad it looks like you don’t need the cannular this time ….thats got to be a plus .Glad your Ocado order came with nothing missing and no subs …..they really are very good, aren’t they , I hardly ever have missing items or substitutions.

It will be Dick and Angel at 8 , but after that I don’t know what we are watching , but sure we will find something .Have a good one , and look after yourselves .

Baz

Evening Mollie & Baz.

Glad your night was ok and you got a walk in Baz,  I fried one of the M&S bacon chops, oh dear, forgot i had wrapped them in clingfilm, never notived till i was eating it and slicing some off, thought it was a skin at first till i got hold of some of it, then realised what it was, the bacon had cooked anyway.

got the washing, drying done yesterday and the dishwasher as well, i did a steak pudding in the air fryer to save boiling/steaming it, not a good idea really, will stick to the Pukka pies, they are super, and love the selection of pickled veg, so lovely, just love the pickes.

I was watching darts & F1 over the weekend, heard a lot of rain in the night, been sunny here all day, had sushi for tea then some tinned rhubarb with cream.

Hope Mollie had a good Monday.

Weird weather too here for June. Warm in the sun, then the wind feels so cold when the sun goes in. So the winter bedding stays on for now.

Glad you slept ok and got your walk in.

I did enjoy the Caravan Park show, but I have enjoyed all the series of that show. Did you enjoy Dick and Angel? I didn't like the bit I saw with all that raw yucky looking fish. So didn't bother with it. But I am still catching up on programmes like eg. the Chapel one and Race Around the World, which has been a really good series this time.

That is good you are pleased with the satin bedding. Are you considering buying the duvet cover as well?  I am tempted to get some silky bed linen for when the warm weather arrives. I did buy some satin pillowcases, but found them too cold in the winter, so have those for a starter.

Hicky

Oh dear, fancy cooking your meat with clingfilm still on it! But easily done, if your eyesight is not so good, as clingfilm is hard to see.

That is nice you had darts and F1 to watch over the weekend. As Baz said, we also enjoy Bargain Brits and watch it each afternoon, and Happy Campers is great too.

We too had our ocado yesterday, and I was very pleased with it, no subs, nothing missing.  Thank goodness Baz introduced us to Ocado.

That makes things easier if you won't need the dye or canula. Hope the CT goes well.

I didn't realise you could try and grow old dried peas.

Been spending a lot of time sitting in the garden, but not been out far, as my knee has been playing up. Think I did too much a few days ago, with lots of housework, taking pup a walk and food shopping. So had to rest my knee over the weekend to help the swelling go down. Its a lot better today, than it was though.

Can't believe its June though and I had to wear a coat to sit in the garden. Can't complain though as I think that is a lot better than it being hot and humid. MrM still busy doing lots in the garden, but getting there now. The flowers are looking lovely.

Have a good evening both xxx

M

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky  Another overcast day here , and not a great day ( on a personal level ) chez Baz….but I didn’t have a bad night , so I dragged myself out for a short walk first thing …which helped a bit …plus my little robin visited , which felt like a * sign* .Aside from that , I’ve done some washing , cleaned bathroom and kitchen , and fed wildlife ….so not a totally wasted Tuesday . I hope everyone else is having a better day than me.

Mollie , glad your knees are a bit better .Im not  thinking of getting the satin duvet cover , cos I think it might slide off .But let me know if you do .I will only be using the satin pillowcases in the summer , and will be switch back to my cosy ones in the winter .I am enjoying the dick and Angel programme ….but you definitely wouldn’t have liked last nights . Hicky, whoops about the bacon chops .i hope your week is going well though …apart from that .

Well it’s Bake Off, Sewing, and Love Island today, so that’s my evening sorted .Have a good one and take care .

Baz

Good Afternoon Mollie & Baz.

I had another Bacon chop today, with eggs and tomato, and took the clingfilm off before i cooked it, going to have that instead of bacon as it only means cooking one item unstead of a load of pieces of bacon.

My No.#3 son said he will take me for the CT scan so thats good, but i will have to get another appointment with Urology to find out the results i assume.

Yes, Ocado is amazing, i seldom fill in the feedback requests as they only want free publicity, and my time isnt free.

Yes, most seeds dont have a time limit although they would probably say they have, in some countries of low rain fall, creatures and plant seeds can lie dormant for 17 years untill there is rainfall then all spring to lije and grow, amazing, but i remember reading that certain seeds need to be in the fridge for some hours before planting, that tells them they have been through windter and now its time to grow.

You really need to rest your knee Mollie, you could be doing damage, thats what the swelling is telling you, that swelling is trying to protect the joint.

Sorry to hear you arent having a good day Baz, at least your night was OK, getting harder to find good programmes to watch, good job i have loads of recording, i have over 80 recordings of "How do they do it"? so good and interesting.

Hicky

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky  Sunny first thing , but started raining about an hour ago , and heavy rain expected this afternoon …for a change ! I did manage to get a short walk in first thing , so got some fresh air . Aside from that I’ve done some washing , hoovered , fed wildlife , and cleaned kitchen . …so another exciting day chez Baz I hope everyone else is enjoying their Thursday .

Mollie, I hope your day is going well , and that you will make it for teatime club , and Caravan Park tonight .Ros and I are really enjoying Love Island ….it takes trashy to a whole new level .Hicky , glad your son is taking you for the ct scan appointment. I have lots of recordings too .Will you be watching the Euros ?

Well it’s Caravan Park, Supervet , and Love Island for us tonight .Have a good evening both , and take care of yourselves .

Baz

Evening Mollie & Baz.

Had rain off and on here as well Baz, glad you got a walk in, what are the Euros.

My CT scan appointment went well, was in and out 15 mins before my app time, called in at the takeawy on way home, got loads of food, will last me days, didnt get dye in the blood for scan so glad about that, it meant they wearnt looking for blood leaks. didnt even have to pay for the car park as the first 30 mins is free and we were only there 20 mins at the most.

The cost of the food was offset by me not needing 2 taxi's to the hospital which is quite a way off.

Hope Mollie had a good day.

Hicky

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky  πŸ₯°πŸ₯°πŸ₯°Bright sunshine at 5 o’clock this morning ….but by the time I got up , and was thinking about going for a walk ,  it was raining ! πŸ™„πŸ™„So the furthest I’ve been today is to the local shop for some milk etc. 🀣🀣Consequently, I’ve spent the morning doing two loads of washing , dusting , emptying bins and feeding the wildlife . I had a strange thing happen too . Yesterday I put one of those suet filled coconut shells out for the birds ….today it’s totally disappeared .😱I presumed it had fallen off the branch , but it’s nowhere to be seen .😱😱Anyway, I hope everyone else is having a good day .πŸ₯°πŸ₯°πŸ₯°

Mollie , I hope your knee is behaving itself .🀣Re our conversation about bread during teatime club yesterday , I picked up some of those part baked rolls from the shop today , so my house will be smelling of fresh bread later .🀣πŸ₯°πŸ₯°Hicky , glad the CT scan went well …when will you get the results ? The Euros is the football ….not that I watch it .I have to get taxis if I need to go to the doctor etc ….although luckily  the hospital is only a 10 minute walk away .

Not sure what tonight’s viewing will be , but sure we will find something .Have a good one both , and take care of yourselves .

Baz

Evening Mollie & Baz.

Rained off and on here today as well, a pity you couldnt get your walk in Baz.

Did you fasten the coconut to the branch, they usually come with a string dont they, if it was not fastened a squirel might have taken it, they love the bird food from the coconuts.

I will have to wait for an appointment to find out about the CT scan etc.

I dont watch football as i think all the injuries are pre-planned to get an advantage of the other team, if they commit a sliding tackle they should be banned for life as it can ruin a players life.

I had darts to watch last night and tonight.

Hope Mollie has had a good Saturday.

Hicky

Afternoon  Mollie and Hicky  Overcast here today , and I’m not feeling 100% , but I did manage a short walk first thing ….so I got a bit of fresh air . Aside from that , I’ve changed sheets and pillowcases , done a load of washing , put bins out ready for collection , hoovered , and fed the wildlife ….so not a completely wasted day . I hope everyone else is having a nice Monday.

Mollie , I hope your knees are behaving themselves today .Im looking forward to our teatime club this week ….fingers crossed we might get some Ant  action lHicky, I had hooked it over a branch , but I did find it eventually…..it was empty , and hidden behind a plant pot . It couldn’t have fallen there so I’m guessing that maybe a pigeon had dragged it there ….cos I’ve not seen an Cyril’s for weeks now . Have you tried the M&S battered haddock fingers from Ocado ? If not I can recommend them.

Well it’s Bake Off Professionals , and two Love Island episodes for me tonight , so a nice trashy tv evenings viewing .Have a good one , and take care .

Baz

Aaaww sorry you are not feeling yourself. Hope you improve soon. Good job you have plenty of relaxing tv lined up.

Glad you got your walk in too.

Enjoyed Teatime Club, especially the dog show and that nice unusual house we bought.

Fancy your coconut getting stollen. That is as bad as Dolly's cheese stick being nicked by the magpies.

Hicky

That is good you didn't have to hang around at the CT and didn't need the dye. Hope they don't keep you waiting too long for the CT results now. I think it awful how they expect people to pay in hospital car parks at all, as some appointments take ages. They stopped charging completely here in Wales, as it was so unpopular.

That was a good idea to call into the takeaway whilst you were out, especially as you didn't have the expense of a taxi. Was it a Chinese takeaway?

That is interesting how some seeds need to be in the fridge before planting, to make them think it is winter.

As usual, all was well with our Ocado delivery yesterday. Dead on time and no subs or missing items.

We went to Cardiff Bay on Saturday as I had some food vouchers to use. We too were lucky with car park charges as the barriers were broken, so no one paid. They had a display of old Classic cars. They were so well looked after, especially as they are so old.

Summer has arrived the last 2 days, as it was actually warm and sunny, so my washing dried nicely.

I have been pacing myself with the sore knees, like the physio said I should if it got swollen, to enable it to recover. So it is much improved now.

Tv awful tonight, unless you are a football fan, which I am not. No one really interested in Wales, as they aren't even in the tournament. Will be glad when normal tv comes back.

Will watch a bit of catch up, for US Traitors and Bridgerton, when I get free time.

Have a good evening both.  x

M

Evening Mollie & Baz.

I dont think a bird could get the coconut off a branch and drag it behind a plant pot and empty it, that sounds more like a cyril to me, certainly doesnt sound like birds.

Had a call from the Urology nurse, she said the results from my urine, blood and xray are fine, she hasnt had the results of the CT scan yet, she said the stones havent changed since the last time they were checked, so happy so far.

My Ocado order is just about ready to be finalised, i will sort it Wednesday for delivery Friday or saturday, i keep all the maybe's in the Favourites list and just go through that and select or if i dont want it again i take it off the favourites, its the best way as it ensures i cant miss an item i may want, if an item isnt there i just search then add it to the favourites.

Got a Β£5.63 voucher from last time on the price promise camparison with Tesco.

I havent tried the battered fish fingers, they are usually and i am not keen on the crumbed ones.

Hope Mollie has had a good Monday.

Hicky

Evening Mollie & Baz.

You posted while i was posting so missed your last post Mollie.

I have completed by Ocado order so will sort that tomorrow, i have put the heating on 19c which probably wont come on anyway as the temp has to drop to 18c for it to come on which is unlikely really, the british gas display on my desk tells me the temperature but i have another theremometer on the desk anyway, both are saying 21c now.

I like watching Alask: The last frontier & Outback Opal Hunters, amd other Hunters.

That was lucky having the vaar park barrier broken, it can be expensive to park these days.

2 days till the first day of summer on the 20th which ends on the 22nd of september this year.

The weather beinf controlled by the Jet stream and the Jet stream being controlled by global warming means we are in the hand of the gods, so that can change at short notice, beware.

I have put those battered haddock fingers on my order Baz to try them, i tried the M&S frozen battered chunky cod fillets, its a pack of 4, one was enough for me.

Hicky

Baz

hope you are well today and got your walk in. At least the weather is nice right now, not too hot and not too cool.

Enjoyed Tea time club. We have been lucky the last 2 days with the nice properties.

Hicky

That is great news that the results from all your tests are fine so far. Hope the CT is fine too.

I will have to remember to try those battered fish you and Baz mentioned as my son likes battered fish.

Are you trying anything new from Ocado this next order?

Yes not long till the longest day now. Hope the weather is good for all who go to Glastonbury.

Another nice day here today, so that is 3 in a row now. A bit of cloud but nice and warm withouth being hot and humid. So I did lots of washing and sat in the garden. Also went to Costco as we were running low on a few things, enjoyed the free food samples and had a jacket potato take away.

Lots of extra road signs, as its the Taylor Swift concernt tonight and over 70k are expected in the city! Luckily Costco is our side of the city so we didn't need to drive into the city, as it had a lot of road closures today.

Goodnight both xxx

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky  πŸ₯°πŸ₯°I hope everyone is having a good Wednesday . It’s warmer here today , at last …and looking good for the next 7 days .Not a great night , but as it was sunny I dragged myself out for a walk first thing . Aside from that I’ve not really done a lot ….just some washing and general tidying up. Now I am  waiting for the plumber to arrive to fix a leaky kitchen tap. ..he’s due between 1-6 ….I am hoping it’s earlier rather than later .

Mollie , I hope your day is going well , and that Dolly is being a good girl . I keep grinning at you calling me a swiftie granny .Im happy with our house purchases this week….and I’m sure Dame will be happy too.Hicky , glad your results are ok .I got Β£2.30 comparison refund from Ocado last week too.I think the coconut probably fell off the branch , but it was dragged behind the plant pot . I don’t think it could be a Cyril , cos I’ve not seen any for several  weeks now .

It’s Love Island for me tonight .Have a good evening both of you , and take care of yourselves .

Baz

Good afternoon Mollie & Baz.

I'm mainly ordering items i've had before, except for a couple of things, the battered fish fingers, potted shrimps, rather dear mind, quite a lot of fruit, and i'm going to get a white sourdough and a Warbatons Toastie as the seeded loaf wasnt too good when toasted, but this toaster seems to be toasting one side, same as moft of my toasters did in the end, so might have to get another.

I've paid for the Ocado Pass as the free time had run out, i had a Β£5.63 voucher so that was handy, from the price comparison, but the bill still came to Β£149,62, mind you its for 2 weeks

Yes, dont get caught up in the 70k crowd Mollie, wow.

Sorry to hear your night wasnt so good Baz, i am very restless in bed turning left and right, i cant sleep on my back, not sure how you do that as i've never done it, i dont get up in the night anymore

Hicky

Baz

Sorry you didn't have a good night but well done managing to get out for your walk.

Pity the plumber couldn't fit your tap. Typical! Sounds like more expense for you.

Yes you are definately a Swifty Granny with both your son and grandaughter going to one of her concerts. You will be wearing the Swiftie sparkles next. I hear she went down great in Cardiff, did 40 songs and even spoke a few Welsh words. So think your son and grandaughter will be in for a good time. Pity its too far for you to go too, I reckon you would be rocking around with the rest of them.

Its only Wednesday and we are having a good time at our Teatime club with swopping and changing already.

Glad you have LI to watch tonight.

I am hoping to watch Fake or Fortune tonight as both me and MrM enjoy it. Have you ever seen it?

Hicky

I too paid for the Ocado pass once the freebie time ran out. Great value, as I often get weekend deliveries and that is Β£6.99 a time. Its easy to spend a lot at Ocado with such a choice of they have.

Gosh that toaster thing drives me mad! How do they manage to make all toasters toast only one side! All of ours end up doing that, and quite quickly too.

I too have to fidget a lot at night due to achy knees. So I shuffle a cushion that I put under my knees, from one side to the other, when I turn over. I too can't sleep on my back.

Another nice day today, but don't want it to get any warmer. Unfortuntely it does look like it will next week though. Let's hope it is not too hot this summer.

Have you any garden jobs to do this summer Hicky?

Went to Iceland to get supplies for the freezer today. Mainly chicken stuff for the family and Cathedral city stuff for me.

Hope to watch "Fake or Fortune" tonight. Its interesting and very technical how they try and work out if works of art are fake or real. The price valuation varies greatly depending on the end result.

Have a good evening both xxx

M

Evening Mollie & Baz.

Yes, i didnt realise i would have to pay for a delivery when my free pass ran out, so i hadnt signed up, i thought it was free if my order was Β£75 but when i was choosing a delivery slot i realised the slots had prices against them, so i picked a Β£2.99 on for today at 2pm, after that i paid for a years subscription of the Pass.

Ocado arrived all correct, so much stuff, takes some time to put away, and the sausages and bacon chops all get separated and frozen, love the microwave beans, so much easier than heating them in a pan, i give the driver a choice of a selection of sweet items and they usually choose a packet of jelly babies to eat while driving around.

I got some packs of fruit, Avacado, Pears, Strawberries, Peaches, the tins of Luxury Lobster Bisque soup is expensive but i'm trying a few tins.

Yes, every toaster i've had has ended up toasting one side, strange, might have to buy another, at the mo i turn the bread round when it pops up.

I havent really bothered with the garden this year, i turned all the watering off, will let the gardener do all the weeding, i just have a walk around it now and again, the light is bad for my eyes so i change glasses if i go in the garden to the ones that change into sun glasses with my eyes being so bad.

I have F1 from tomorrow for the weekend so thats good.

Hopw Baz had a good night.

Hicky

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky  I’ve been a busy Baz today ….looks like I’ll actually make my ten thousand steps . I went for a walk first thing , then did some work in the garden , changed sheets and pillowcases , three loads of washing , and fed the wildlife ….so go me . It’s dry today, but it doesn’t feel as warm as forecast …but at least it’s not raining .I hope everyone else is having a nice Friday , whatever you are up to .

Mollie , yes, we’ve had a good time in teatime club this week….and today we have our Ant to look forward too .It makes me giggle every time I think about you call me a swiftie granny .I hope your day is going well . I enjoyed Caravan and George last night .Hicky , did you not get an email from Ocado reminding you your delivery pass was running out ? I think I usually get it about 3/4 weeks before the renewal date ? I pay an annual one I think . Hope you enjoy the F1 this weekend .

Well it’s GB and LI for me tonight …so a fun evenings viewing coming up .Have a good one , and both take care of yourselves .

Baz

Good afternoon Mollie & Baz.

Its 21c here so pretty nice, havent been out though, glad you got your walk in Baz, and you do so much in the house, omg i get worn out just reading what you do in a day.

Ocado told me the pass was coming to an end but i assumed like Iceland, if your order was big enough it came free, untill i tried to book a delivery slot, then i found out but it was too late i assume, so after i completed the payment i ordered the yearly derest pass.

Had an appointment come through on my phone for an outpatient Urology for 23rd September, 3 months away with the nurse i saw a couple of weeks ago.

The bags i ordered on 6th June still havent arrived, they were supposed to be delivered by Hermes / Evri but there app says they are expecting it abd the Amazon tracker says it has been picked up so i have no idea whats going on.

Hope Mollie has had a nice friday.

Hicky

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky Getting very warm here , and due to be even  hotter over the next couple of days! Because of the heat I never went for a walk this morning ….although I did pop up the local shop , and watered bedding plants , and did a small amount of weeding in the back garden , so I got a bit of fresh air .Aside from that I’ve not done very much at all , just two loads of washing and some general tidying up ..l.so another riveting day chez Baz .I hope your day is more exciting than mine .

Mollie , I hope it’s not to hot down there , and that you are managing to stay cool .looking forward to another week of teatime club .Hicky, glad you got your pass sorted , and that your bags have arrived by now . At least you now have a follow up urology appointment. Are you enjoying the F1 ?

Baz

Evening Mollie & Baz.

It was only 18c here today, 24c tomorrow, but its 23c inside the bungalow anyway, i havent been out onlu to the wheelie bin.

I tried those battered haddock fingers, they were ok but i much prefer Cod i'm afraid.

Just had a bowl of rhubarb i cooked, so nice and easy to do with a little cream.

I had a tine of the Baxters Luxury Lobster Bisque soup which was Β£2.70, i couldnt taste lobster in it so it was a waste of money, and i bought 3 so will give 2 away, i can get 4 packs of cup a soup and they are 40p each, so its a no-brainer.

I tried the potted shrimps, wow, another waste of money, 50g half is butter and it cost Β£3.50 and you dont even get a mouthful.

I got a pack of M&S strawberries, wow. the size of the pack, will get about 3 servings, i have prepared a dishful but had the bowl of rhubarb to eat so it will have to wait, for brekkie a just did an egg butty with 2 fried eggs and 2 rounds of the Warburtons Toastie, but i didnt toast it.

The saga with the Amazon carrier bags, i got in touch with them and they are repaying the money as they think the item has been lost, so strange, the supplier said the item had been picked up so was dispatched, but Hermes / Evri say they are expecting it, anyway, i have ordered a pach which should arrive as Amazon have them on Tuesday, could have got them tomorrow but theres no hurry, have still got some Iceland ones to use.

Loving F1, still watching them now, i get about 7 recordings to watch and as there is 3 races this month a also 3 next month.

I di a clothes wash earlier with a dryer. then put away, will be loading the dishwasher soo as well.

I have been freezing the hot cross buns and also the croussants, i only but the exact amount of water into the kettle so i dont boilo any water twice.

Hope Mollie had a good Sunday.

Shame you couldn't do your usual walk today as it was too hot. But glad you managed a little stroll to the shop and a bit of gardening.

It was quite hot and humid here too today, but not too bad as we had cloud cover later on. Poor pup didn't like it though. She has been tired with her tongue hanging out when it was the hottest, so we have been giving her ice cubes to enjoy.

Yes it was  a great week at Teatime Club, look forward to our new week tomorrow.

Am watching" Tattoo Fixers on Holiday" . (new series). . Wish you were watching it with me. I can't believe what some of these idiots do to their bodies. We have had the usual hideous drunken tattoos done in Magaluf, ibiza and Ianappa. And even a mother who is a party animal, with her embaressed daughter, who needs a removal. It is hard work for them covering up this lot!

Hicky

I love rhubarb. Was it rhubarb you grew yourself?

Shame your lobster soup didn't taste of lobster. If I have any food I don't like, I too pass it on, usally to my friend who seems to enjoy whatever I give her, or at least someone in her family does.

That is good you have F1 to watch.

I too bought the most expensive pass from Ocado, because it meant I can have it delivered weekends as well as in the week.

That is nice of you to give the driver a choice of sweet items to choose from. When it is hot, I usually offer delivery people an ice lolly, so will have to order some next time, now it is getting hotter.

How annoying your parcel got lost. But sounds like it is sorted now.

Don't blame you having a gardener to do what you need done.

Went to the seaside today, but went in the morning before it got too busy or hot. I still managed my lime striped ice cream even though it was only 10.30am.

The builders are coming to do the 2nd patio tomorrow, as the decking is so rotten, its dangerous. We have waited months for them, so hope they turn up.

Goodnight both xxx

M

Good afternoon Mollie & Baz.

I bought the rhubarb on Ocado, but it is the same price as a can of rhubarb so i might as well get the cans and save the sugar and cooking.

I stopped buying ice lollies, i only used to get them for Mrs H, i have had some but i just chew them, dont see the point really when you can buy ice creams or choc ices, i just buy choc ices now but have loads still, i have a draw for bread and rolls and a draw for ice cream in the freezer, the kitchen one is the big American one with the colf water ice cubes and crushed ice on one of the doors, the left side is a fall height freezer and the right side is the fridge, and the freezer never needs de-icing, not sure how that works mind but its the best one i've ever had or seen.

Well, its 24c outside and 24c inside so have left my jumper off, i turned the heating controller off as it isnt going to come on so might as well save the battery, it probably needs a new one but will get one of my lads to change that as my eyes not so good.

I have to be careful on my Ocado ordering as i tend to over order, i usually work on the principle of always having an item spare for when an item runs out, i think Mrs H used to order stuff but never looked to see if we had it or needed it, so when i used to have the cleaners coming i gave them packs upon packs of cleaning stuff that would have lasted 100 years so i made some room after getting rid of it.

Hope Baz had a good night and a walk.

Hicky

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky   Very warm here today ….77 degrees at the moment …but it’s overcast this afternoon . Due to rise to 80 tomorrow .…..consequently I will be hunkering down .I did go for a walk early morning , and watered the plants ….but I’ve spent the rest of time doing bits around the house …cleaned kitchen and bathroom, dusted and done two loads of washing . …with plenty of sitting down in between .I hope you are all managing to to stay cool .

Mollie , glad you are enjoying Tatoo Fixers ….what channel is it on…and what time ? I’ve got the anytime Ocado pass too …cos like you I sometimes like to have it delivered at the weekend . Teatime club was good last night , and looking forward to the nutty banker tonight .I hope it’s not to hot down there today .Hicky, I hope you are having a good day ….and its not too hot for you . I don’t mind it too much during the day , but hate it overnight ….so roll on Thursday , when it’s cooler .

Its Bake Off , Sewing and Love Island  for me tonight . Have a good one , and look after yourselves .

Glad you got your walk in and got out in the garden, but very wise you did it, in the morning, with it being so hot right now.

Tea time Club has been so good so far this week. That ex banker is such an eccentric.

Tattoo Fixers on Holiday is on E4Extra, and it started last Sunday at 9pm, followed by another episode at 10pm. I think it is on the same times next Sunday too. Last Sunday was the first 2 episodes of the series.

Its 22c here now, which is quite hot enough for me, especially as it is after7.30pm now.

Looks like a hot one for all of us tomorrow too. Glad it looks like it isn't going to last long though, which is good.

That is good you have a full nights viewing line up. Not sure what I am watching yet. Probably something recorded, as I can use pause if needed. (son working late, so I like to get his tea when he gets home).

Yes its a lot easier to buy tinned rhubarb than make your own. My fave way to eat rhubarb is in a pie though, with runny cream over it. Yum, yum.

Sounds like you are well stocked in your freezer. Our new fridge/freezer doesn't need defrosting either, but we could do with one a bit bigger, but we couldn't fit an American type one into our kitchen.

I am not keen on plain ice lollies either, but these new ones I had are lovely. 3 different fruit flavours on one stick, with a few choc drops stuck on them. And you don't chew on them, as its a different texture to an ordinary ice lolly, its soft, so more like a sorbet, than an ice lolly. Its one of the many new things I have tried since using Ocado. Fortunately they are never short of new things for me to try. I wonder if they would suit you Baz as I  know you have had trouble with ordinary ice crea and choc ice type things?

I bet the cleaners were gratefull for your gift of cleaning materials.

Went to the Toby carvary with my friend for lunch today. It was busy, as the roast meal was on offer at only Β£6 each.

The pup is not keen on the hot weather today, but enjoyed munching her ice cube. I will leave the fan on for her all night.

Goodnight both xxx

Evening Mollie & Baz.

Glad you got a walk in Baz.

I didnt go out today, is it 26c inside now but that ok for me, my Amazon de;ivery came, and have ordered a toaster, cant remember how many ive had, at least 4 in the last 10 years.

Are you still on 'F' for temperature, wow, think they use that in some countries, not here though, but i always remember 'F' -32 Div 9 x 5 = 'C'.

It say its 27c here tomorrow, cooler Friday down to 18c - ish for a few days, i probably eat less while its warm, having problems on finding what ford to order as most of it seems so boring, even the small bit os salmon is uninteresting, i might have to start ordering home delivery from the chippy etc.

Hope Mollie had a good Tuesday.

Hicky

Afternoon Darnies Much cooler today , thankfully , so I got a long walk in this morning . In addition to that I’ve not really done a lot ….I had an awful night due to the heat …. just some general tidying up , a load of washing , fed wildlife , and watered the plants . I hope everyone else is enjoying their Thursday, whatever you are up to .

Mollie , those lollies look nice .Pity we couldn’t buy anything yesterday , but maybe we will find something next week .I hope you managed to get some sleep last night , and that it’s cooler down there today .Hicky, I have one of my weather forecasts set to F …and one to C l I ordered a new iron from Argos this week cos I was finding the one I had a bit heavy …plus it kept getting a mucky sole plate . …it came yesterday and is much easier to handle .

Its Botched , George , and LI for me tonight .Have a good evening both . Take care .

Baz

Evening Mollie & Baz.

Sorry you had a bad night, it was waem last night but at least you got a walk in, i only went to the garage with my lad who called in as he was in the area due to a call out by the emargency gas team, i got him to take the Ninja air fryer out as i wont be using it again.

My new toaster came today from Amazon, havent tried it yet though.

I've got darts for the next 4 evenings and from tomorrow i've got F1 till Sunday so a good weekend for me.

One of my lads said the N&S chunky soups are very good and their curries as well so have ordered some of those.

Hoe Mollie had a good thursday and took it easy.

Hicky

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky  Overcast , with rain overnight and first thing , but it’s been dry since . I didn’t feel up to a walk today , but I did pop up the shop and took the long way home , so I got a few steps in . I have also a bit in the back garden , two loads of washing , and fed wildlife.  β€¦so not a totally wasted day.I hope everyone else is having a good Saturday .

Mollie , enjoyed our varied programmes on teatime club this week …and our George …..we sure get around, eh .I hope you and Dolly have recovered from the heat now , and you are having a good weekend .Hicky , glad you’ve got a lot of good viewing this weekend .Have you tried your toaster out yet ?

Not sure what we are watching tonight ….its a poor day for our programmes ….but sure we will find something ….and we were very happy with the Love Island eviction last night . I hope you both have a good weekend , and look after yourselves .

Baz

Evening Mollie & Baz.

Very dull here today, had a little rain as well, glad you managed to get out to the shop Baz, i havent been out at all.

The new Toaster is a beauty with buttons for cancel, reheat & defrost, i have used it a couple of times, it seems fine.

I had a vid call yesterday with my lad and children in the Philippines, that was good, he's been on courses for free diving, its so they can explore the caoral reefs, he can do over 4 minutes under water now till he needs to come up for a breath.

Its great having darts to watch day and night, and F1 as well, of course i can choose when to watch the racing as its recorded.

I love the "How do they do it" docu's i now have 97 still to watch because as i watch them more get recorded.

Hope Mollie has had a good Saturday.

Hicky

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky  Overcast , drizzly , and chilly , here today …but I had a reasonable night , and needed to post a card  ( and postbox is about a mile away round trip) , so I went for a walk first thing . Apart from that I’ve not really done much, just some washing , cleaned kitchen , put the bins out ready for collection tomorrow , and fed the wildlife .  I hope everyone else is having a more productive day than me .

Mollie , I hope you are having a good Monday . I am looking forward to teatime club this week .By the way , the blankie is definitely helping .Hicky, glad you had a nice video call with your son and family .i hope you had a nice weekend watching your sport . I’m hooked on Judge Judy at the moment .

It’s Bake Off and then hgtv for us tonight .I hope you both have a good evening . Take care .

Baz

Good afternoon Mollie & Baz.

Weather dull here as well, rain in the air, only went to the garage to take the old toaster out, going to take the Chip making machine out as well as i might as well just get the McCain frozen chips as they are cheap enough.

England won the darts, 40 countries started on friday, a great 4 days, still got some F1 to watch as it was all recorded and it gors on for hours.

Glad you had an OK night and got a walk in to post a card Baz.

I record Motorhoming, Happy Campers, Gemma & Gorka, and many more so i always have plenty to watch.

The Bacon Chops are rather nice for brekkie, not salty which surprised me, cooked it in the air fryer as well, had one with 2 sausages and 2 fried eggs, so will get more, have 2 in the freezer, they come in paks of 2 but i freeze them separate.

On Sunday i got the washing donw and the drying in the machines, the put it all away, di the dishwasher in the evening and put that away, also have sorted the months meds into the 4 x weekly containers, saves so much messing every day.

Hope Mollie had a good Monday.

Baz

Am enjoying our Tea Time trips to Benidorm so far this week. It seems to be mainly newbies now, so I am sure if we will soon work out if we like them or not.

Glad your blankie still seems to be helping you sleep wise.

Hicky

That is good you had darts and F1 to watch over the weekend.

Hope you like the chunky soup and curries when you try them. Was it frozen or fresh curries you ordered? My son likes a curry, but haven't tried the M and S ones yet.

Your toaster sounds nice. Which make did you go for ? I am fed up of ours only toasting one side now. We do need a 4 slot one though.

That is nice you had a video call with your son in Philippines. How nice he enjoys diving.

That is handy your bacon chops come out so well in the air fryer. We use our air fryer daily.

I went out for a carvary lunch with my friend today, but cooked son fish and chips in the air fryer when he got in from work. It is so quick and easy to do when he gets in late and feels tired.

I am glad that hot and humid time was so short lived as it was awful for sleeping in, and very tiring.

I have had to have a couple of slower days as I overdid it Sunday going for a walk on seafront witrh the family, and the usual house jobs.

Will go for lunch again with another friend tomorrow, so at least I won't have to cook for myself tomorrow. And I like the "help yourself" salad cart where we go.

After our carvary today, my friend who gave us the pup came to our house. Pup was so excited to see her again. She wouldn't leave her side all the time she was here.

Not sure what to watch tonight, still too much sport on tv. So will watch some recordings or Netflix.

Have a good night both xxx

M

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky  Overcast  and showery here , and looks like it must have rained quite heavily overnight ….but I slept quite well , so I went for a long walk first thing . Aside from that I’ve not done a lot , just some washing , general tidying up , fed wildlife and popped up the local shop . …and that’s the sum total of my exciting Wednesday . I hope everyone else is enjoying theirs .

Mollie , I hope your knees are a bit better now , and glad you had a nice trip to the carvery ….Mr B used to love going to the carvery too .He would be very proud of  how Mr M has taken on his B&Q mantle. Hicky ,glad we win the darts …makes a change for us to win something, eh  . I must remember to order my meds this weekend. We enjoy happy Campers too

Well it’s Sewing and Love Island for us tonight ….I have to  record George cos all the bliddy football etc has messed with the schedules .Have a good evening both, and look after yourselves .

Baz

Good afternoon Mollie & Baz.

Been out with No.3 son for fish and chips at Parkgate, oh wow, we could eat in and was lucky we found a parking spot, probably because it is Wednesday as there are very few parking places on the sea front, its a sea front with no sea, it has deep grasses for as far as the eye can sea and used to be a fishing port long ago, but the fish is fantastic as they only cook them when you go in.

The Podietrist came this morning before my lad turned up so that was good.

All the curries i ordered are fresh, i will freeze of course as i freeze anything that is freezable, i got the McCain chips which come frozen anyway.

The toaster is this:

Afternoon Darnies I hope everyone is having a good day . Not a bad night for me , but It’s rained on and off all day here , so no walk ….plus my ankle is playing up !Consequently , I’ve not done a lot ….just changed sheet , washed , cleaned bathroom, and fed wildlife . Oh, and  I did also pop to the shop at the top of my road .

Mollie , I’ve enjoyed teatime club this week ….some nutty people .I hope your leg is better today , that you had a good night ., and that your weekend is going well .Hicky , wow ….thats a huge shopping list .How often do you order stuff ? I also have those M&S bacon chops ….they are really nice , aren’t they .That toaster looks nice , and a very reasonable price .

Not a great night viewing today , but we have managed to find some programmes …one of which is Grand Designs .Have a lovely evening and take care of yourselves .

Baz

Good afternoon Mollie & Baz.

We had a little rain in the night and this morning i think, had a Yodel delivery via Amazon, just a box of 48 Cadburys Creme Eggs, cant get any from Ocado because Cadbury dont sell them after easter, plenty of places have them as they buy them while they are on sale.

I get the Ocado order every 2 weeks as it takes me that long to make the order out, i try as many items in the last order as i can to see if i want to reorder the same, if not i delete from my fave list.

I have been getting the bacon chops to save messing with bacon, going to try one in 2 rounds of toast, should be nice.

I have F1 to watch all weekend so thats handy.

Hope your weekend is going ok Mollie, and you dont have any pains.

Hicky
