I wonder why you are having trouble posting Baz, i've never known so much rain, probably with the sea warmingas the evaporation of that must effect us as we are surrounded by water of course.

I ordered a bit too much, but so hard not to when there are so many good things to buy, i will cut down on my next order as i have a chest freezer full of food in the garage, i need a food manager.

I swapped my autumn / spring duvet for my summer one, i have a cover for each which i leave on so i can tell which is which.

I had a walk around the garden, wow, so much blosom on the fruit trees, and buds already on the grape vine.

How annoying you had trouble posting. Hope it is working ok today and hope you are feeling better health wise too. You did right pausing the duvet washing until you feel a bit better.

Yesterday's wedding show was interesting. Sorry I made you rush when I changed the times yesterday. Didn't mean to rush you though, but it was good in the end that we got to see a good episode. I too really enjoyed Benidorm this week. Is it Benidorm again next week?

That was interesting reading your shopping list. You certainly are well stocked up now and have a good variety of food there. I too get tempted to overbuy with Ocado as there is so much choice with them. I too buy that Bertinet bread, but I get the "Bertinet Potato, Polenta & Onion Sourdough" one. It is very tasty.

Its nice for you to see the changes of spring come to your garden. The blossoms look so pretty now.

We went to the seafront yesterday. Pup loves a walk by the seaside. I couldn't resist my fave lime stripe ice cream. So yummy.

The rest of the family had chips. But I decided I better not have chips and ice cream. I have too much winter fat to shed before wearing my summer dresses again.

Stayed home today, as so much housework/washing to catch up with. It was a nice day, so it all dried out on the line too. Sat in the garden with pup on my lap for awhile too. Sun is nice and warm now.

Good afternoon Mollie & Baz.

The choice from Ocado is so good, i could spend a fortune all the time, so hard to restrict to sensible proportions, any items that dont do it for me i dont order again.

It was interesting to see the sourdough you get, wow didnt realise they even made those type, so much on offer, but have to be careful ordering stuff for trial as i am trying to cut down on waste, an of course everyone's taste buds differ as well.

I havent started on my ice creams yet this year, i have a drwer in the kitchen freezer just for ice cream and choc ices, think its full.

I still have some work to do outside on the auto watering system, need to alter some pipework were i removed some big tubs, also put the battery units back into the 4 timer computer units that control the 3 watering zones and put the time etc back in because removing the batteries resets all the set data back to default, just waiting for a sunny day with less wind, blowing a gale here today 48 to 50 mph winds.

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky  Blowing a hoolie today ….and got woken up at 5 o’clock by a thunderstorm ….and the hail was so heavy I thought the windows would come through .It only lasted a a few minutes , then the sun came out .Since then it’s been sunshine , showers and very strong winds ! Consequently I did go for a walk , but I did pop up the local shop , and walked the long way home .Aside from that , I’ve cleaned kitchen and bathroom, fed the wildlife , and done two loads of washing …so not a totally wasted Monday .I hope everyone else is having a more exciting day than me.

Mollie, no need to apologise …..it’s normally not a problem ….i am always around . I am sure I am right about the ice cream…..I’ve felt much better since ….fingers crossed . I hope you are having a good day , and I’ll see you on the beach at 5 o’clock .Hicky , I’m the same with Ocado .Its nice to have so much choice ….and as I have said before , it’s rare to have any substitutions, or missing items .I haven’t changed to my summer quilt yet….in fact last year I didn’t even bother , I just threw the covers back it I got too warm .

Lots of wind last night and still here today, plenty of sun as well, i managed to install the 2 water timers outside needed for the greenhouse, but with me wearing the special glasses they turn into sun glasses which isnt ideal when i want to see whats going on so i didnt test the watering, tomorrow i will install the other 2 timers which go in the garage on the water manifolds, there is also a slow meter in my system so i can see how much water is being used at the time, or daily or total, i still have to alter the water pipes though.

Had a nice Fillet steak tonight, boiled some diced potato and made some peppercorn sauce, Fillet is dear but the last Sirloin & Rump i had was dreadfulo so wont get that again, mind you that was from Iceland.

Glad you managed a nice walk Baz, my summer duvet is very light but its plenty warm enough and so easy to handle and move around on the bed, of course its only a single bed.

Wne i plug the phone in to charge, it now says "I am now Charging", but it uses so little battery that it hardly really need charging, today it only went down to 96%.

I got an email from NHS about a Covid-19 jab, you cant ring the covid stations for an appointment, all either by online or ring 119 so i rang them and got an appointment for the 22nd, an hour before my dental checkup but thats sorted anyway.

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky  Sunny , but chilly here . Not a bad night , so I went for a short walk first thing . The plumber came and fixed my leaky tap ….and I’ve made an appointment at the opticians ….both of which I’ve been putting off for ages ….so go me .Aside from that I’ve not really done much, just some washing and general tidying up . I hope everyone else are behaving themselves , and are having a good day .

Glad you slept ok and got a walk in Baz, glad you sorted the tap and made an appointment for your eyes.i had a wonder in the garden, a bit windy and sunny, didnt do anything.

Decided to fill the dishwasher as i had accumulated some bowls and a pan etc, cleaned the hob, love the induction ones, and its handy each ring having a timer to turn it off, not that i use that option much but always handy to have.

I always watch Antiques Hunters & OPal Hunters, i watch some Storage hunters but so many are repeats, same as Gold divers, repeat after repeat, most on different channels.

Tomorrow night i have the darts then Fri - Sun its F1, it was lucky i checked the recording schedule as the F1 record one said a schedule error, when i went to the actual program for Friday they have changed the channel, they have made 425 the Tennis channel and 424 F1 so had to reschedule, wow good job i checked.

Good Afternoon Mollie & Baz.

Not a bad morning here, no sun so i went out to install the other 2 water timers in the garage then tested the greenhouse watering system, i set the timers to twice a day for the greenhouse for now, but just before i realised i had set the timers to 2 which is every 2 days, so i have to go and alter the setting to 1/2 a day which on the timer is 12, every 12 hours, so i have to press minus when on 1, but its started to rain so will see if the rain eases so i can go and reset the times, the master is just outside the utility room which is part of the kitchen, but the other is down the garden by the greenhouse on the side of the summerhouse / manshed.

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky  🥰🥰🥰Overcast first thing , but sun is out at the moment ….but the wind is very chilly ! Not a bad night though , so I went for a long walk first thing . Aside from that I’ve changed sheets and pillowcase , washed , ironed, fed wildlife and swept the patio …so not a totally wasted Friday .I hope everyone else is enjoying their day .

Mollie , I hope your day is going well . I enjoyed Benidorm yesterday , but I hope we don’t see too much of that miserable landlord guy .We need less of him and more of Ant. Glad your night was ok and you got a walk in Baz, just take it easy, my lad came and did the floors and bathroom, vacd and steam cleaned,  my lad No.#3 son he is moving back over this side of the river as hes not keen on the job on the Liverpool side so he is renting a flat in West Kirby for now and its unfurnished so giving him what he needs as i have tons of stuff not being used, he sorted the watering pipe for me so thats another job done, also the auto light in the hallway started flickering so i got him to change it, all lamps are LED but the internal electronics can go after a time, they shouldnt mind but they do, i keep a pack of spares.

I've ordered another air fryer, a Lakeland 2 drawer one, this will be my 5th but the dual basket is so handy at times, it has a 5L & a 3L drawer and only £80, will keep the Ninja for now till i see how things go.

Yes, love find it etc, hard to find ones i havent seen now, but i have seen a few where Gemma went with Henry instead of Simon, not sure where Simon was.

Nice here today, my air fryer was here by 11am, its very nice, my lad arrived with the removal people to take some stuff he needs for his flat he's renting as its unfurnished he needs loads of course so he took a king size bed, bedside tables and lamps, also 2 wardrobes and 2 chests of drawers, different sizes, a comfy chair and a leather big sofa and a big tv, not sure the size, around 16" i suppose.

I did what they said and washed the fryer baskets and dried them, i used both to do some chips and reheat 3 chicken thighs, it worked fine, might get rid of the Ninja if i dont need it anymore, not sure yet.

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky  Sunny , but chilly here today . I had to wait in for a delivery this morning , but  once it arrived I did go for walk . Aside from that , I’ve done the duvet shuffle , two loads of washing , dusted and fed wildlife …..so another riveting day chez Baz .I hope everyone else is having a more exciting day than me.

Mollie , glad things went well for your son yesterday …..and hope Daisy got loads of petting at B&Q today .Hicky , why do you need 5 air fryers ?Glad your son is moving back to your side of the river .I don’t think I’ve seen the FFF where Gemma stood in for Simon ….but they are funny , aren’t they .

Glad your drippy tap has been fixed. Not good to waste water if you have a meter. I didn't want one, as it is cheaper with a big family not to have one, but the house already had one when we moved in, so can't get rid of it.

Good job your delivery turned up nice and early, so you could get out for a walk. We have to take advantage of any dry weather we get at this time of year.

I really enjoyed our trips to Spain last week. Wonder if we will be heading there again this week?

That is nice your lad came to help with the cleaning and a few little jobs. At least he will be closer to you when he moves. How handy you had so much furntiture you didn't need, so he can make good use of it.

I agree, the Ocado choice is brilliant, especially bread and Crumpets. MrM likes the M and S grain crumpets and son likes the M and S sour dough ones. This is my fave bread for toast, its not full of air like many , so very tasty and filling.

Haven't seen it in any of the supermarkets. They do it in smaller loaves but I got the bigger one this week as it was on offer. When my shop arrived today, one of the milks had leaked. so the driver gave it to us for free.

Your air fryer sounds good for the money. Baz....did you get round to buying one?

Yes Hicky's 5 airfryers must beat the record for the amount of airfryers owned by 1 person. We only have 2.

How lucky you have had darts and F1 to watch, as I know you enjoy it.

I haven't had time to watch any tv for quite a few days now. If weather is nice, I have been washing like mad, so I can dry it on the line, or sitting in the garden with the pup, if I have a free moment in between house jobs. Not that I have had much free time, as son was doing his show and it was the first time he had an important role. So I went 1 night with MrM and 2 other nights with friends who wanted to see it. My friend came on the train yesterday, so we took her a ride round the cliffs and coast, and for lunch in the pub too. Thankfully son got all his words and dance steps right, so did well.

And yes Baz, Dolly did get lots of petting in B and Q, and at the train station yesterday when we saw my friend off.

I took a can of cranberry and vodka in my bag to the theatre Thursday night, and yesterday, as I felt a bit cold (not used to going out at night now!), so that helped warm me up, and was delicous.

I've seen 2 episodes with Gemma standing in for Simon, It did seem strange but she was fine, in fact i prefered her to Simon.

I have only got 2 air fryers, i have bought 5 but gave 3 away, i am liking this Lakeland one, have used it a few times, easy to use anyway, if i dont need the Ninja one i will give it away, it was a very expensive modal.

Yes, the sourdough seeded bread was very tasty, but it wont fit in my toaster as its too wide, but the normal seeded bread does, so i'm going to buy both and  freeze half of both as i dont want any to go off.

I managed a wash load, and dryed and put away, ordered the taxi for the morning, i have the Covid jab then the Dentist so am going to have the taxi wait for me at the pharmacy.

I did 2 baked spuds in the air fryer after watching them do it on the tv, then you halve them and scoop out the potato into a bowl, add butter, salt n pepper and cheese then put back into the skins and put back into air fryer, very tasty.

I thought my lad might as well have what he need from the bungalow as i dont use it, i have all i need and i have a tv in my room, i also use the small one in the kitchen, there was 2 others which i dont need so he has taken the big one, i am always throwing stuff out as its no good to me, and if i throw it out it wont need cleaning etc.

Had my 8th Covid jab today, then got driver to take me to the Dentist for a check up, i told the dentist about my spiky tooth, he said i really need all the cavities filling to take the strain off my other teeth as by having no back pairs of teeth for chewing i am wearing the front ones out so some fillings will help to make them last, i will still have problems as i have to use them all to eat, he said i need 7 fillings, but my appointment is 3/4's of the way through August.

I'll probably have some pain now from the jab but not much i can do about that, i have some painkillers if i need them.

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky  I had a much better night ….and it was dry first thing ….so I went for a walk …and blew away a few cobwebs l Both bins have been collected ….albeit one was really late . I think there might have been a problem with that one  cos finally  two trucks arrived at the same time .Aside from that , I’ve done some washing , dusted and fed the wildlife ….so quite a lazy day chez Baz .I hope everyone else is enjoying their Tuesday , whatever you are up to l

Glad you night was ok Baz, and a walk, great, i took paracetamo so my shoulder wasnt too bad, got up at 10:45 so had a good sleep, got up at 4am for a swig of water as i keep a bottle on the bed cabinet.

The gardener came at 11:30, he was wondering why i hadnt called him, he did the usual weeding that i had left, and sprayed some weeds that are not by my plants, i have ordered a new weedkiller spray container as we finished my last one.

He is going to get some help and go through my discarded kitchen gadgets, i have so many in the garage that it is becoming a storage room problem, they will take the stuff awayn and see what is usable and what to scrap, the itams are toasters, kettles, george foreman grills, slow cookers, Salamanda grill, coffee machines, coffee pod machines, toastie maker, cant remember the rest, oh bread machine.

I had a sore arm from the covid jab on Monday night, Tuesday and Wednesday it has almost gone not bad but thats gone now.

Not much happening here, cooked an old piece of topside beef i've had for ages, then cooked some spuds and heated a tin of peas and nany carrots, made some gravy, had a nice meal, needed to cook the beef as it was taking up too much room in the freezer.

The gardener hasnt given me a date when he can come for the kitchen gadgets from the garage, could be saturday as he wants to bring a relative who takes stuff to the people who recycle for a housing scheme. they need working electrical stuff.

I've got darts to watch tonight so thats good.

I have had a delivery from Royal Mail of 2 500ml bottles of Apricot Kernal oil, no idea yet who has sent it, its for your skin, i have terrible dry skin, maybe its from 1 of my lads, dont know yet.

Glad you managed a walk Baz, its dry here as well, not sure for how long but have got the rest of my auto garden watering system online now,

It was one of my lads that sent the Apricot Kernal oil, but it was for him, he has moved back over to my side of the river into a flat but he couldnt put a delivery address so he got it sent to me, he has bad skin like me.

My sore arm was probably due to the needle in the mussel and nothing to do with the material injected, had the jab Monday, the soreness had gone Wednesday.

I have watched the 2 couples, one couple in a campervan, Paul & Suki, good fun, and the other was Dan & Helen another great series., and the new one Joe & Katherine, another great series to watch, also the Piano tomorrow, and New: Reuben.

I did enjoy those lovely doggies on Gogglebox. And nice to see all our old faves on the show. I had to at their funny reaction to the Asian comment. I like those sisters and the dad and his sons.

Have you been watching Love Triangle, or have you decided to watch it after seeing it on Gogglebox? Looks quite good. I am really enjoying watching MAFS Oz. I watch it in bits when I need a quick sit down.

What a good week it was in Spain. I would not dream of nicking your champagne cocktail, as I would make sure I had my own first.

We took the pup and the lads a walk down seafront today. It was colder than it was mid winter! I had to dig out my gloves and hat again! So it was quiet there for a weekend. Had to eat my chips sitting in the car, as too cold and windy to eat on seafront. All the benches were empty! Even pup is wearing her little coat again.

Went for a nice roast with my friend on Thursday. Such a bargain for £7 with the voucher I have.

And went for brekkie Monday with my friend and her grandson. She rang me an hour after she got back home in a panic as he was due in preschool, and refused to put his uniform and coat on. So I had to talk to him to pursuade him to. Luckily I had just bought him a little car to give him next week (they are only 99p in The Range), so a bit of bribery talk and a promise of a pressie next week worked wonders.

Had a day off washing today. I will pay for it tomorrow though, with about 5 loads to catch up on, so hope it is dry for me to hang it out. Have to hide it from the pup as she keeps nicking the washing out of the basket or off radiators and hiding it around the house.

I started to watch a recording od Brittains got talent, but decided it was just as stupid as when that other clown was the judge, they more or less put them all through, just to keep the numbers up, found the program far too stupid, and one had come from the USA, what is that about, has Britain moved, i deleted my recording and wont be recording any more, the program was a joke.

I havent heard they are injecting for flu, not that it bothers me, as long as it keep me safe.

I dont know which Son you mean Mollie, the one in Cornwall loves his new home and the one 5 miles from me only moved in a few days ago so havent heard from him as his job has changed as well, same company just a different area that he covers now.

Glad you had a better night and day Baz, i am pretty restless during the night, think i'm too hot, i try without the duvet over me for a while but that annoys me so i put it back on.

Just had a call from the Dentist, my appointment for August had been booked in error on his lunchbreak so its not put back to September, i asked them to put me on the cancellation list.

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky  Sunny and warm this morning …..but I think we are due some rain later !Ive had a busy day ….i had intended taking things easy …seeing as my jab was cancelled ….just a trip up the local shop , changing the sheet and pillowcase , washing and ironing ….but then I got a text to say my reading glasses were ready , so I grabbed a taxi to town to collect them . While  I was there I decided to be brave and walk through town  , and went into a clothes shop and treated myself to two new sweatshirts …so go me . Warm here today @18c with hardly any wind and lots of sun, Barbie sounds good to me, you can wear whatever you like, ideal for any age i say, you are only as old as the clothes that you wear, seurely.

Thats strange Baz them cancelling your covid jab, maybe they ran out, it only has a short freezer life i think.

I have noticed more and more on the tv programs, i look to see the details of who is on or what series it is, but now a lot have stopped putting that info in so you have to go onto the show to see who it is, and also a lot of programs dont even say now what the series is, never mind the episode so now i cant tell if i have seen it or not till i start to watch, sometimes i cant find a show that i havent seen so have to go to my recordings, what is going on, it seems that very few shows are made in this country and most of the ones on tv were made years ago by Discovery channel in the US, and now all the uk channels have bought the shows to save paying to make new ones.

But sounds like it is lot warmer in the North than down here!

Its been cold, damp and grey here yet again and only went up to 10 degrees again today! I even had to dig out my gloves and vest again to wear when I go out .

I know what you mean about it being hard to work out the tv shows. I find it so annoying if I start watching something and realise I have already seen it.

I know your son has been in Cornwall for awhile now but I was wondering if your other nearby son was all settled in now, as I know you were giving him some furntiture.

We are stil waiting for our patio to be done. Its been near on 2 months now, but we were warned it would be around 10 weeks wait.

Think it was nice you treated yourself to a browse around town and a lovely sweat shirt yesterday, (even it was not the design you had intended!). As Hicky says, Barbie is nice for any age and a bit of a bright youthfull looks does us all good now and again.

I agree, there has been some very strange ones on the Benidorm show this week. And thankfully lots of nice donkeys. I enjoyed the Unicorn peddalo trip today, that was well funny! (as was that guy's eye shadow and hair colour)...

MrM left a £100 cheque on the hall table that my aunt gave us for our birthdays, and the pup had grown a bit ,so managed to reach it and has nicked it and chewed it up and eat bits of it. Oh heck, not sure whether to tell my aunt what has happened, or if that is a bit cheeky to ask her to post another one!

Went for brekkie Monday with my friend and her grandson. Very nice. The little boy is just turned 4 now and last week he enjoyed eating fried egg, but this week, he wouldn't touch one. He said "yuck, I don't want egg, I hate it!".

He is very good though and sits nicely and eats his food with us, so we don't have to rush.

And went for Toby carvar lunch with another friend Tuesday. (I get a 20% discount at both places Mondays to Thursdays, so always go those days now).

MrM fed up as weather has not been nice enough for him to get in the garden after work and he has lots to do. So hope it dries up again soon, he had been progressing so well when we had those few dry days. He had dug up the old grass as it was poor quality and put down grass seed. It has grown really well and strong, so I think the seeds at least enjoyed all that rain!

Going to watch Hotel Inspector tonight. Me and MrM both enjoy that show.

Off to sort the washing out first though, then clean the bathrooms. MrM has taken pup out for a walk. She is always begging for him to take her out.

Yes, 21c here today, pretty nice and about time, mind you i didnt go out.

I have also found another annoying thing about some tv shows, i usually watch Money for Nothing if Sarah Moore is the host, but they are tricking me at times as i start to watch the show and then realise, Sarah isnt even in the show, its either Jay Blade or that other woman, i'm being conned now.

I havent heard from my lad since he moved in, not sure what shift he is on, he started his new work area Monday, he had to take the wardrobes to bits to get them into the flat, its on the 1st floor.

I think you have a serious problem with your pup, i dont think you can tell your Aunt what happened to the cheque as i dont think you would want to hear what her thoughts were, an expensive pup.

Afternoon Mollie annd Hicky  Overcast , cold , and drizzly here today ! I guess we’ had summer yesterday! Consequently I only went for a short walk first thing …but at least I got  a bit of fresh air .Aside from that , I’ve changed the sheet and pillowcase , done two loads of washing , ironed , fed wildlife , and hoovered …so not a totally wasted Friday .I hope everyone else is having a good day, whatever you are doing .

Mollie , I hope your day is going well , and that the weather is a bit better down there today .Have you worked out how to tell your aunt about Dollys extra lunch yet .Our pedallo trip was very nice yesterday…but I got a bit sunburned ! Hicky , I’ve no idea why it was cancelled , and no way to find out cos it’s at a centre ….I presumed that maybe either there weren’t enough people booked that day to make it worth their while , or maybe the person giving the jab was sick . I just hope it all goes smoothly when I do go weekend after next . I’ve also watched Money for Nothing .

Not much to report from here, didnt go out, just added a few more items to my next Ocado delivery, probably for the 10th or 11th, I'm going to order a rack of lamb as its so tender and rather yummy, whereas the chops can be tough and with not having the back teeth to chew it can be a problem.

At least you got a walk in Baz, i spend most of my time chatting to my lads or and playing chess with my Lad in Cornwall, or sorting out my next meal, had cheese on toast for brekkie then a nice ribeye steak for tea, i still cant get over the massive choice that is on Ocado.

I record: Inside the Operating Theatre: and many other shows, on the How do they do it, i must have 60 shows to watch, i have 25 different types of shows recorded so have a massive selection if i'm stuck.

Hope Mollie had a good day, maybe she could put the chwque back together like a Jigsaw and stick onto a backing paper with glue or cellotape, i assume a bank might accept it.

Talking of sun...we actually got a sunny day yesterday till late afternoon...the first one for ages!

But back to grey cloud today and some drizzle expected later.

A bit of trashy tv is good for a laugh. I finally finished watching Married 1st Sight Oz and really enjoyed it. I liked the fact it was such a mix of ages.  As well as the usual ones in their 20's, they had some in their late 50's. It was down to you saying you watched the UK one that I decided to give it a go. So glad you told me about it.

I agree, there is so much choice at Ocado. We love their choice of breads and crumpets, and we have had some M and S fresh cream cakes that had been delicous. This week the offer was 2 packs of 2 for £3.50, so we got Cream Toffee Merinques and Custard filled Choux buns.

Its amazing how you are able to play chess with your lad who is based in Cornwall. and glad to see you have plenty of stuff to watch.

Good idea to get MrM to try and piece the cheque together. But he did say, the pup had eaten some of it! I really don't like to ask aunt for another one, as it seems too cheeky!

Do you still have your swingchair to sit in the garden when its sunny?

Our old one broke, so we need to get a new one, as we enjoyed it.

MrM still has lots to do in garden. He has put up 5 trellises already and had 8 delivered from B and Q yesterday. We aren't overlooked much, but they do add to privacy, and look lovely. He plans to grown climbers up them too. So last night we went to Wicks to buy 8 wooden poles for them. It was really difficult to get them in the car with me and the dog, but he managed it.

As nothing had been done to this house or garden in nearly 20 years (it was ex rental), we still have lots to do.

I can remember Hicky all that work you got done when you got your bungalow.

Also we can't afford to get it all done at once, so are doing it bit by bit.

MrM is going to see Bruce Springstein in concert today and his freind and wife are travelling down from North Wales to go with him. So we are meeting them for lunch first, which will be nice. I am not doing the concert though, as am not really a fan and there is lots of walking/standing.

Off to peg more washing out and hope it dries before the promised drizzle arrives again!

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky  🥰🥰🥰Sunny and very warm here today ….soon be time to moan it’s too hot .🤣I’ve been a busy Baz today .🤣I’ve been for a walk, done two loads of washing , fed wildlife, and done some tidying up in the back garden . I emptied out the garden pots ready to be replanted . I also had to move the fridge freezer cos something rolled under it …..and nearly choked to death on the dust !😱😱Makes note to do it more often !🤣🤣Anyway , I’m here now and don’t intend moving for the rest of the afternoon! BT email went off earlier, they keep logging me out then show a message saying i should upgrade to EE broadband, but its BT's broadband, it says i would save money, when i look into it all the offeres would cost be more.

Not done much today, just food and a wash load and dryer load.

I try not to get too many cakes as i find them hard to resist.

Yes, we have played 470 chess games, i have won 258 so far, you can play from anywhere in the world.

My swingchair is fine, just not much fun when you are in the garden on your own.

I was wondering why you and the dog went with MrM to get the poles when he needed the passenger seat area to carry them home.

It took months to do the work in the garden, the gazebo, summer house, tool shed, 5 raised beds, and to start we levelled the ground and put weed matting over the whole are, then i made all the decking, that was so easy when you know how.

All my lads are fine Baz, the one that moved back over to my side of the river has been trying to get the internet into the flat, they were due Yesterday, virgin media.

Nice & warm here today, 19c with sunny intervals and a light wind.

Glad you got a walk in Baz, i got as far as the garage as the gardener came to take away my collection of kitchen gasgets that i have collected over the last 10 years, i have been putting the crockery i dont want into the wheelie bin, and dozens of cuos/mugs etc and dozens of different drinking glasses.

The cupboards are full of dishes etc, most have never been used of course, they are no good to me and i shouldnt think anyone would want them so i'm slowly emptying the place of stuff i dont want.

A lovely day here weatherwise, light wind, sunny and warm, not done much myself apart from planning meals and editing order from Ocado, delivery tomorrow.

Go you Baz, walking and and weeding, thats great.

I still have loads of stuff to sort through in cupboards, but i will probably get one of my lads to sort the lower shelves etc, i dumped a load this week as the binnies came today, the bin was full, and with the gardener taking so much stuff from the garage, to be recycled if possible, not allowed to put some electrical stuff in my bins.

I have set my landline to put any calls through to my mobile now as i dont want the landline but not sure who or what has the landline number and not my mobile number, i have set my mobile to tell me when the battery is down to 50% and needs charging, it will tell me when its 80% so i'll stop it charging, it already talls me it is charging when i plug it in.

I've got the darts tonight, no more F1 till the 17th & then the week after as well.

My household rubbish wheelie bin gets emptied every 2 weeks so will get as much as possible ready to go in that.

me and the pup don't like MrM going out without us, (its good for pups to get out and familiarise themselves with as many people/places as possible), and I get bored staying in too much, so I tend to ask if I can go too.

well we ended up being spoilt for choice today on Tea time Club. But glad we ended up going to Spain again.

4 In A Bed was on straight after and I ended up dropping off to sleep whilst it was still on, then I woke, thinking "gosh Baz will wonder where I am"....forgetting I had already said Goodbye to you after we had finished watching our show! My excuse is son did not get in from work till 1.45am and I never sleep well when I know someone has yet to come home, then around 3am I got bad cramp in my leg that woke me, so had to go downstairs for a drink. Good job I have changed to all summer bedding.

Dolly prefers B and Q to Wickes, as we go there more often and there is a garden centre, and she gets fuss off the staff in B and Q, as we go there so often.

Glad you too got the sun, so could get in the garden and went for a walk. As you say, it won't be long now till we start our summer moans that it is too hot. I know I can't stand it when it gets in the 30's!

Gosh that is a lot of chess games you have played with your son, and you have done well with all those wins too.

Yes its amazing all that work you did in the garden, no wonder it took you months.

MrM has a big job on his hands too, but it is already looking so much better. We have high trellis nearly all the way round now, which has made it nice and private, and he built a couple of steps to the new shed and the grass seed has now grown well. We also have lots of new plants but they will take awhile to mature.

Its a good idea to have a clear out now and again. I couldn't believe the amount of stuff we had to get rid of when we moved. Its handy you have a wheelie bin to put rubbish in. We don't have those, only plastic bags for rubbish and canvas type bags for recycling. We are only allowed a bag a week, so can't get rid of much. MrM has to continually go to the tip.

I heard that BT are gradually getting rid of all landlines as they move to the new system. We didn't get one when we moved to this house but got the internet cables updated to the fastest one. We also left Sky and moved to Zenn, who have been much better.

Hope you are pleased with your Ocado delivery tomorrow. Did you buy any treats? We tried 3 boxes of these Japanese type ice creams, as they are on offer and they are delicous. The ice cream is surrounded in a mochi dough.

We always get a little treat each, per delivery.

Had a busy week as I changed all the bed linen and quilts from winter to summer ones, and washed them all. Luckily the weather was nice enough to dry them all. And I have seen my 2 friends who I usually see. One for a roast on Tuesday (the one who gave us the pup...she loves to see the pup and the pup loves to see her again!), and went for brekkie with my friend and her grandson on Wednesday. But I need to slow down as my knee was so painfull last night. Bit better tonight, but I have had to ignore some house jobs. Went to Costco today , lots of free food samples luckily
