Sorry you havent had a good day Baz, mine hasnt been too bad, got my Iceland delivery, i usually add extra stuff in case some items short, ordered 2 loaves, a medium and a thick 800g, they didnt have an 800g medium so they sent a 400g, and they only had 2 bottles of Zero Fanta so i was one short.

Had a vid call from the Philipines as Granddaughter wabted to see me.

Hope all goes well with Mollies move whenever it is.

On checking some of the programs i watch, i found one was from 7 years ago, some are only 5 years old and all have been filmed live by Discovery, as most of those from Alaska etc are.

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky  Another really crap day chez Baz ….and it’s been drizzly all morning , so no walk today . Consequently, I’ve not done much , just the duvet shuffle and two loads of washing . I hope everyone else is having a better Friday than me!

Mollie , I hope things are a little less fraught today .At least you are now in the new house , so I’m sure you’ll soon get things settled .Hicky , Mollie has moved now .Awwww how lovely that you had a video call from your granddaughter .Have you had any more thoughts about going to visit them ? Sorry you had a crap day again, its been dry here so rang gardener to see if he could pop round as i saw a bit of tile or something by the gutter at the back, it turned out it was a wafer of brick from the chimney stack, but gardener said the gutter needs cleaning out, well, 30 minutes later after 1/3rd of a bucket of sand/soil etc, i've asked him to come back and do all the rest of the gutters.

Rang Urology about the appointment, they said i'm low priority so its months away, damn and blast.

I noticed another meal of big raspberries down the garden so will pick those tomorrow, nice with some cream, i got some of the double alternative to cream by Elmlea and use by date is 2024 which sounds good to me.

I've got some more strawberry trifle left so will have that tonight with cream.

Glad Mollie has moved now, hope all went well, my lad in Cornwall get the keys to his next house next Thursday, they are so excited.

Going on Hol to the Philipines gets so complex, 1st there is my appointments, then my lad has to go back to Oz for a while, and they dont do direct flights from Manchester to Manila so plenty to think about.

Aside from that it’s a very lazy day chez Baz , all I’ve done some washing , dusted , and a bit in the garden .  I’ve had my lunch , and that’s me done for the day .I hope everyone else is having a good Sunday , whatever you are up to .

Mollie , I hope you are feeling a little less stressed today . …and that you will be able to take time out to join us for Motorhomes tonight .Hicky , bummer about the urology appointment, and the complications that are preventing you going to Philipines .But good news on your sons move , and  that your gardener managed to clear out your gutters .Mine are due to come and mow the lawns this week and I’m hoping the will cut back some of the bushes that are too high for me to reach .

Afternoon Darnies Guess who left the lounge light on all night ! The day started  off sunny , but it has clouded over now , and it’s been spitting with rain ! However,  I did manage a walk earlier on , cos I needed to pop to the shop . Aside from that , the gardener has mowed the lawns , my new rug arrived this morning …a day early ! I’ve changed the sheets , dusted, washed and ironed , and rescued the bin . I’ve also been trying to sort something out for my sons 50th birthday . I was going to send him some port and Stilton ….or a posh cheese hamper ….but apparently cheese has started to give him migraines , so it’s back to the drawing board ! I had pork steaks for lunch and that’s the sum total of my exciting day so far.

Mollie , I hope things are getting sorted , and that you are a little less stressed now .Hicky , Ros and I are recording celebs go dating to watch on our “trashy tv “nights We watched it last year , and enjoyed it .Oh dear , where have you got mice ?I hope the eye test went ok .

Well it’s Bake Off , Masterchef , and Celeb Ex on the Beach tonight .I hope you both have a relaxing evening .

I only have LED lights in all rooms but still try not to leave any on i dont need, the porch and hall are dusk to dawn controlled so they stay on at night, i have the bedside light on so thats 3 but all lamps are 5watt so thats ok.

Have ordered mouse traps, had a load of flys, maybe blue bottles, not sure, found a couple by the utility room window, sprayed 1 next thing i find 5 dead on the window sill, and got another before, found 1 in the bathroom so sprayed the room and shut the door, when i went in later i found 2 dead on the windowsill and one dead in the empty bath, if things dont improve i will get Rentakil in or someone, dont now how they are getting in really as i dont leave outside doors open.

went to the eye test, pictures of back of the eye taken, he said my eye didnt look too bad but has sent a report to the eye hospital, so i'll see if i get an appointment or letter back.

I had fried eggs on toast for brekkie, soup at 2pm and chicken wings at 5pm then a 4 funger kitkat, they are so yummy, i'm going to try some Alpro Oat Chilled drink, will try with Frosties, also instant syrup poiiage packs.

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky   I’m not feeling very well today , so no walk , and not really done much …just some washing , dusting and cleaned the kitchen . I did have to drag myself up to the shop at the top of my road cos I was out of milk ….but apart from that I’ve been laying in the sofa with a hot water bottle for most of the day ! I hope everyone else is having a good Thursday.

Mollie , I hope your arthritis is a bit better today , and that you are managing to get some downtime .Hicky , oh heck , that sounds quite bad …do you think something has died in the walls or something ….whatever , I hope you can get it sorted out soon .I only have low wattage bulbs in the lounge cos I only use a table lamp during the evening , and only put the main light on when I switch the lamp off when I’m locking up to go to bed .And I use motion sensor lights in the hall , stairs, landing and downstairs loo.Glad the eye test seems to have gone ok . By the way , Ros and I watched Celeb dating the last two nights ….that Vanessa comes across as a right piece of work , doesn’t  she !

Sorry you havent felt well, nothing worse, the gardener was here at 09:15 to start on cleaning the gutters, the Rentokil man was here at 10am to start setting up the mouse equipment.

I showed him dozens of dead flys, he said they are green flys, flesh eating type, and amazon came and i now have 2 new cans of fly spray.

The Rentokil man said the property was so clean, he said it was spotless, i told him the cleaners came Monday, he has placed 8 tamperproof traps in various places, he takes the base plate off cupboards and puts traps underneath then closes them up.

I only got a few flys today, it took me half an hour to get all the dead ones up.

I stopped watching the dating show, didnt find it interesting, stopped watching the other ones as they were too controlled by the production team, that spoilt it for me, they just created tension to make good tv.

I also noticed on the food programs what they put in the food is mainly to make it look colouful or look good on tv, nothing to do with the taste, its all a con.

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky  Very showery here today ….some quite heavy ….although the sun is out right now .Not a bad night , but, given the weather, I haven’t been any further than the shop at the top of the road .  So , I’ve spent the day catching up on housework….cleaned bathroom , kitchen , done a load of washing , and sorted the M&S shopping . I had some nice M&S poached salmon for lunch , and that’s the sum total of my not so exciting day .I hope your Saturday is a bit more exciting than mine .

Mollie , I hope all your hard work paid off and the visit went well today .Hicky , glad you fly and rodent problems are getting sorted ….I hope it won’t be too long before you are mouse and rodent free .I tend to suspend any belief while watching reality programmes …that way I quite enjoy them .

Well, my lad in Cornwall moved into his new 4 bed detached house Thursday, but had to pack yesterday as they are on a flight to Turkey for a weeks holiday as i type.

The Rentokil man didnt say he say any signs of mice so its strange, before he came i was overrun with big flys, no idea how they even got in the bungalow, since he put all the traps down i think i have only seen 2 flys, so stramge and havent even used the 2 new cans of spray, i am very confused, man comes back in 2 weeks.

Iceland delivered before, a few items missing as they didnt have them when packing, i got a whole cooked chicken to try, will probably eat it cold, will make a curry with the breast but i enjoy the rest as it is, will make some sandwiches as some fresh bread came, i bagged and froze 1 large sliced, have 1 to use for now and i got one for spare, i only got 3 as they are so cheap.

I have F1 this weekend so thats handy, they are back from summer break.

Hope Mollie is having a good weekend and settled into the new house.

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky  After a couple of good nights , yesterdays was dreadful ….and it was drizzly  first thing , so no walk today . I’ve done is some washing , hoovered , cleaned bathroom and kitchen  , fed the birds , and put the bins out ready for collection tomorrow though  . I also did a bit in the garden ….so at least I got some fresh air . I hope everyone else is enjoying their Bank Holiday Monday .

Sorry to hear you had a bad night, i was so comfy in bed i got up to take my tablets and the loo then got back in, got up at 12:00 then sorted some food, made 2 small hotdogd.

My lad got to Turkey no problem, hes in a fantastic place and its 35c during the day.

I've ordered another Air fryer a Ninja AG551UK, was watching them use it on QVC, its super and will do me fine, this is my 4th i'm trying.

I am so confused about the mice / flies, after the Rentokil man left i only saw 2 flies the next day and havent seen any since, the day he came there was 12 dead on the floor by the double rear doos after i sprayed behind the blinds, 10 dead on the utility / kitchen window sill, 3 dead in the bathroom  after i sprayed the room, so confused as i have no idea how the flies got in, and why did they stop, if a mouse was dead somewhere they would have still been actice surely.

Yesterday i had a pre-cooked Delamere whole roast chicken from Iceland, it was yummy, had the wings then put the leg thigh meat on a sandwich then later had the breast on sandwiches, had it cold as i prefer it that way.

I have stopped eating, drinking dairy as far as pos, no cows milk or cream, am trying oat, then i'm going to try say and almond, my phlegm has reduced so much since i stopped cows milk have stopped coffee mate as well, using Alpro Oat drink for now, not sure whether to stop chocolate and quality street though.

Hope Mollie is ok after her move, always so much to do.

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky Not a bad night ….and it’s been dry so far , but I had to wait in for a package …and then the gardeners came unexpectedly to do the hedges ….so the furthest I’ve been today was to the local shop for some milk .😁Aside from that I’ve not done much , just some washing , and general tidying up . I had some nice lamb chops for lunch and that’s the sum total of my Wednesday . I hope yours is more exciting .

I am so confused about the flies etc, seen none today or yesterday, still dont know how they got it or even why but havent seen them since the Rentokil man left.

I am trying my coffee  without milk of any kind as the oat and soy are quite dear, my phlegm has almost disapeared which is good, not sure if the chocolate i eat effect me though, will take a chance for now and see how things go.

Was just going to add some Cathedral city - our cheesy cottage pie, but they never came up, going to ring tomorrow, they have dozens of other stuff but not those, and they are so good.

I tried doing dippy eggs in the air fryer but the timing were too short as i saw them doing them on the Ninja but i havent got it yet and the one i have isnt very powerful.

I like a brekky of Frosties now and again so will use oat or soy milk, when i get it, the oat milk is nice as a drink as well, as i drink fresh orange, Fanta zero and coffee.

Just having some black coffee, couldnt really tell it had no milk in it, think its all in the mind.

My latest air fryer came today, been unwrapping and reading instructions, didnt realise the Ninja is a German design but made in China like just about everything i everr buy, will try it at teatime, just the air fryer option probably.

I am trying coffee and tea without milk, when my Iceland order comes tomorrow i will try them with soy and almond m,lk if they arrive otherwise i will have them for brekkie with my micro porridge or Frosties or just use as a drink.

I've got F1 again this weekend so am happy with that.

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky  Boiling hot today …and due to get hotter !Not a bad night , and my deliveries came early , so I did manage a walk after all.I’ve also done the duvet shuffle , a load of washing, cleaned kitchen and bathroom,  and hoovered …so not a totally wasted morning . It’s my sons 50th this weekend , and he says the only  good thing about being 50 is that it’s not 60 .I hope everyone else Sunday is going well ..

Glad your night was ok Baz, Happy Birthday to your Son, not a bad age 50, as he says, could be worse.

On reading you saying you have washing reminded me to fill the washer, so i went and sorted it, will put it in dryer when its done, its only an hour cycle.

I put the dish washer on tonight as well as i use dishes etc for the week then machine wash sunday night.

I'm trying the Alpro drinks out, i have the oat, thats nice, am now trying soy & protein soy and almond, the soy in coffee was ok.

My lad is back from Hols, he's back in his new purchase, so much to do i imagine as he only moved in 2 days before going away.

I have the Masters darts to watch day and night today, plus F1 but that is recording.

I didn’t have a bad night , but I haven’t gone any further than the local shop cos I was waiting in for two deliveries ….plus my electrician is coming the afternoon to move the cooker for me …although I’m not sure when , so …… Luckily , no sign of any flying ants in the kitchen today ….so maybe the repellant is working .🤞🏻 I’ve got some baits for when the cooker is moved .  Aside from all that , the gardener has mowed the lawns , and all I’ve done is a load of washing , rescued the bin , and cleaned the kitchen .I hope you all having a good day , and are managing to stay cool !

Yes, lovely and warm, its only 24.9c indoors, i've even got my zip jumper on, unzipped, will have to take it off as i have to unlock the back gate as the wheelie foes out tomorrow.

Been drinking the Alpro drinks, wont reorder the Almond, loving the Oat, Soya and Protein, so creamy on my Frosties, better than cows milk anyway, the Soya is nice in my coffee as well.

I hate waiting for deliveries if they havent said when they will deliver, it stops me being in the garden etc, so annoying, although i know when they arrive as the Ring system tells me.

I have seen no flies indoors since the Rentokil man left, how strange and still have no idea where they came from, he is back Thursday morning anyway to check the special container CO2 traps.

The Masters was great, only on for 2 days, great to see the old faves back and still playing.

I am lucky that the previous owners had a utility extension built onto the kitchen, it lets me have the washer and dishwasher installed by the sink, the dryer is at the back of the american style fridge freezer, i turned it round 90deg so the dryer would fit, it stores the water in a container, idea.

at last I have found the time to post here.

Gosh it has been hectic and stressfull.

Although we have started to find a place for stuff, we are still emptying boxes/bags for things we need to sort cupboards out for. MrM has built shelves in the pantry and utility now though. So there is still a lot of stuff we can't find when needed!

Still plenty of work to do in the new place, but MrM did a cracking job of cutting all the blinds to shape and putting them up and sorting the garden out.

Pup is still so young she still needs a lot of attention too. Everything goes into her mouth, so I am continually fishing stuff out of her mouth. A few days ago, she was vomiting over and over, so we dont know what upset her. I rang the vet and they said to give it a few hours and she should be ok, which she was!

How strange you both had insect problems around the same time. Wonder if all that rain followed by very hot weather bought them out ? Let's hope Hicky's flies and your flying ants don't return now Baz.

Another air fryer!  How many is that you have bought so far? We have bought 2, but I think you easily beat us.

Son and MrM went to Iceland today and Cathedral City have some cheesy hash browns, so they bought some, as well as the cheesy bites. Both of my boys love the Cathedral City lasagne too, which they had for tea tonight.

I get a lot of phlegm too. The cough has still not cleared completely and I passed it onto MrM too. Think we got it from my friend and her little 3 year old grandson, when I went out for brekkie with them a couple of weeks ago. The little lad always seems to have some sort of a cold, as he is only 3.

Hope the cow's milk alternative help ease your problem. I have swopped to goats milk in my coffee now. I might try and goats butter too, and I do like goats cheese too.

glad I managed Tea Time club (by the skin of my teeth today again), enjoyed the show. (and the company too of course).

Its too flippen hot for me too. Hate it like this.

Its pup's bedtime now and she has taken herself outside for her sleep.

I will keep the fan on all night for her, as well as my bedside one on all night too.

We too have problem ivy. Its grown all over the garden fence, so MrM has been cutting it off today (whilst wearing a mask as its so dusty).  I really like our garden, but it will take a lot of work to get it nice. MrM is going to paint the fences after he has removed all the ivy. He is hoping to make a slabbed patio area too.

Glad you can get a minute to post, dont worry if you are too busy or tired, so much to do as usual for any move.

I have no idea where the flies came from and why maybe the Rentokil man can throw some light on what happened when he comes Thursday, not sure if the mouse droppings the cleaners saw was actually mice, maybe it was spilt coffee grounds or something, no idea.

I am annoyed that i am low priority for a procedure, and with my eyes getting worse i have another problem, might get a better idea Friday after a visit to the eye clinic, but i wont see a doc so will have to wait for the report on the next appointment probably.

This is the 4th air fryer, will try it out, used it a couple of times, it is nice and very powerful.

Have you found out why you have the cough, to understand it you need to know why you are coughing.

The cathedral city cheesy cottage pie was fantastic but when i put it on the list again they had none.

The phlegm i was concerned about stopped when i gave up cows milk, i am now using the Alpro Oat, Soy and Protein, not so keen on the Almond although it is good for you.

I wanted to go onto goats milk but Iceland didnt have it.

We used to get flying ants in Singapore in the army 1961, on a certain day at a certain time and temperature, millions of flying ants used to take off from the water drains along the building and because the top of the room wall was open they could fly in, i woke one morning to find all the beds black with flying ants also the floor, the problem is, once they land they cant take off again so have to walk.

Not a lot to report really, Rentokil man came, checked all the CO2 mouse traps, nothing found checked floors no sign of anything, the UV/black light will show any signs of activity from any animal or creatures, he will come back in a week, i gave him my air fryer i took out, he gave me a hand to put some stuff in the garage, he was very impressed with the garden, loved the massive grape vine which covers and area of about 30 plus feet, couldnt count the bunches of grapes, so many even after i removed half a bucket last week.

I tried the egg cooking in the air fryer but not sure what the heat type should be, i thought the  they said 120c for 8 mins, but on air fry option the temp only goes down to 150c, they were just past runny so need to adjust next time, cant see the temp ranges in the book so will have to experiment.

Am now putting Alpro Soy in my coffee, a person i chat to online said they use coconut milk so i tried that but it is too overpowering, i am going to order more soy and oat, for brekkie and drinking, lovely taste.

Havent got room for more meals so am going to use some of the stock for a while

Overcast this morning and it felt a bit more comfortable  , but sun is out again now I didn’t have a great night , and gardener lady came at 9 o’clock to weed a couple of beds in the back garden ….so no walk today . That was handy he could help you put stuff in your garage. I bet he was grateful for the air fryer. We love our air fryers, so quick and the food comes out so well.

yuck, don't like the sound of the flying ants in Singapore. We have had quite a few horrible spiders come in the house. MrM reckons it because the garden was so overgrown and he has done a lot of work cutting stuff back.

This flippen cough is from a bug I caught from my friend, MrM has it too. But it is slowly clearing.

I have started to use Ocado for delivery, as well as going to Iceland for our fave Cathedral city frozen stuff, as Baz uses them and told me they are good. She was certainly right. I have had them twice now. Lots of choice and nothing subbed or missing either. And I even had a choice of 2 different types of goats milk.

Glad I managed to sqeeze in Tea Time club a litle this week, as I have missed you and our Tea Time Club. Haven't had chance to watch much tv at all though lately with the move and a pup to see to.

MrM was thinking he was going to have to slab over the rotting decking, but he found these blocks in Costco that you click together over it. And it didn't take long and looks good too. Also far cheaper than paving slabs, as well as being quicker.

Lots to do in garden yet though. I need some slabs for my washing line, and he wants a shed and a veggie area.

Glad we spoke on whatsapp Mollie, later i decided to make some pud as had just had some nice ssalmon fillet which i cooked in the Ninja, anyway, i thought i had bought 3 [acks of Figs so decided to google a recipe, got the figs out and brown sugar, cinnamon powder and honey, wiped the figs and thought it funny as it was furry, sliced the 1st fig in half and realised, oh dear, i had bought Kiwi fruit, i think i had searched on Iceland for fruit then went down the page of items and clicked on Kiwi as no fig existed, silly me, i will eat them but so disapointed.

Hope your cough goes soon, so annoying, is Acadp a store or shop, never seen one, dont know if they exist here.

I've got my Oat mikk and more fresh orange and Soya milk so am ok now.

I only ordered a bag of Salmon fillets as i need to use up spme of the existing food i have, to make room.

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky  Cooler , cloudy and spitting with rain here …but no thunderstorms,  so far . I’m not feeling great today …probably the flu jab….so I’ve not been for a walk …and haven’t really done much …just cleaned the kitchen, bathroom and done a small load of washing … so a very lazy day chez Baz .I had some salmon for lunch , and that’s the sum total of my exciting Sunday ….I hope yours is better than mine .

Ocado is an online food delivery and they have their own produce and M and S food too. Baz has used them for a long time and is happy with them. And I have been pleased so far. So much choice of produce. So thanks Baz for recommending them to me.

At last we managed to find a bit of free time to take the pup to the seaside. She was so excited. She was sniffing the sea air before we even parked the car. Me and MrM had a strawberry stripy ice cream cone

MrM has finished covering the decking. It looks good and the dog likes it as its nice and soft. Far better than the rotting wooden one there before.

We had a very heavy rain shower for a short while, so thankfully it feels a bit cooler tonight.

Nothing exciting going on here, made a nice brekkie using the air fryer, even did the beans in it, took the lid off a small tin and removed the label and put the tin in with the other foods, all fine.

The coffee with the Alpro Soya is pretty nice, ok for now anyway.

Picked a massive 470g Bramley apple, will cook tomorrow ran out of time today, have got everything ready for tomorrow.

Didnt realise you had a flu jab, i wonder if i'm due one, some people suffer more than others i know.

The salmon i had last night was lovely, did that in the air fryer, had to use some lemon juice as the lemons didnt arrive, will have to remember to bring the whole chicken in from the garage, i will portion it and cook it all at once.

I will look into this Ocado as they might have stuff i cant get at Iceland, not got any room in the freezer, fridge or cupboards though.

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky Not a bad night for me , but It’s rained …or drizzled ( what my mum used to call wet rain🤣🤣) …all day here ….so no walk ….although I did pop up the local shop …and rescued the bins….so I got a bit of fresh air .🤣🤣Aside from that , I changed the sheets and pillowcases , washed and ironed , so not a totally wasted day .🤣A delivery that was due tomorrow actually arrived this morning , so , weather permitting , I will be able to go for a walk tomorrow .😃I hope everyone else is enjoying their Tuesday .

Deliveries so often come sooner that expected, it depends on the courier mind, i would prefer they come when i'm expecting them.

Your Mum was right, some light rain gets you are lot wetter because of the size of the droplets, heavy rain is usually comprised of large droplets that have collected and joined on the way down, a bit like when the snow is small bits which means it is too cold for them to join but as it warms they then join so the flakes become massive and soon cover the ground.

I will probably get asked to go for jabs, i had got up to 6th on the covid ones. they might think its a waste on me with being so old, a lot older than you Baz, i was under the stairs in the war.

I made 2 apple crumbles yesterday in the air fryer using the bake setting, today i spatchcocked a 1.2kg chicken and cooked it in the air fryer using the roast setting and inserted the probe in the breast, selected an internal temp of 75c and left it, it stops cooking when temp reached, have had the wings and legs/thighs for tea, will have the breast tomorrow, not sure how yet.

Son had another scan, they said the knee is ok but needs something doing to it.

A strange thing with my eyes, the useless left one seems to be a lot better, no ide how but it did a lot better at the eye test the other day, think the amd is bleeding anyway but the vision has improved so much, i was hoping it had something to do with my medication that mended my week heart pump, of course i am still taking that, not sure if i should be or not ming, i cant quite read with it but it really has improved, but when i asked a nurse at the hospital if it could get better she said no.

Hope Mollie is having a good day and not overdoing things.

Yes  I am so glad you introduced me to Ocado. I was so fed up of the other delivery companies giving me stupid subs or not having items. Last time I ordered Asda, I had 5 items missing and 3 subs that had to go back. So ended up having to go out to the supermarket to buy what they didn't deliver, so it was a waste of time. Nothing missing from my 2 Ocado deliveries. So far so good.

We take pup to the DIY shops as we constantly seem to need stuff from them with so much DIY for MrM to do in this house. She loves to sit in the trolley, on a cushion we take for her. B and Q, Wickes and Homebase have all said its ok for her to come in the shop (as they don't sell food). In fact, the staff have got to know her now and like to talk to her and stroke her. It tires her out for bedtime too.

A nice day today. It is good that awful hot weather has gone. We did have some rain first thing but it cleared to nice sunny day. So I dried 4 loads of washing outdoors today.

I will consider Ocado when Iceland done have stuff i want, the apple made 2 baking dishes of apple crumble, so nice with cream, each dish does 2 servings.

The cleaners came today instead of monday, all they found was one of those things that turn into a fly, by the back double doors to the garden.

I am well liking the Alpro Oat & Soya, so good, wow, wish i had known about it years ago, so yummy on my Frosties, dont seem to be able to get the timing right on cooking the eggs in the aire fryer, will have to go back to the old way with the half egg gadget that goes in the pan and tells me how far done they are, never failed.

Its strange how my left eye seems to be improving i can just about tell the time on my watch with it now, it would be great if i could get enough improvement to read with it, that would be a miracle, can only hope, but it seems easier to see now just walking around, crazy, its like i'm not just using my right eye.

Hope Baz has had a good day.

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky  It rained overnight, and first thing ….but the sun is poking through now . I didn’t have a bad night , and managed a short walk mid morning , so at least I got some fresh air. Apart from that I’ve not really done much , just some washing , fed the birds , and hoovering ….so a very lazy day chez Baz .I hope everyone else is having a nice Thursday , whatever you are up to .

I don’t think they will think you are too old for the jabs Hicky , in fact I expect you will get your Covid jab before me , cos I think they go down the scale age wise .

I am vert excited about my left eye, it hasnt had any central vision for years as after the cateract op for some reason it lost the central vision, but now its working again, dont understand why yet, maybe i will find out, only re4alised at the eye clinic test as i couldnt understand why it was seeing more than it used to when i was attending the clinic in 2021, i keep testing it as it seems so strange all of a sudden, i dont need my white stick now, wonder if it could have anything to do with the tablets that mended my heart.

Had a walk around the garden, picked som raspberries and a big Bramley for the new neighbour.

Just had fried eggs on toast for brekkie, and chicken sandwiches for tea to use the breast up.

Hope Mollie has had a good day, got F1 tomorrow and weekend so i'm ok.

Got Rentokil man back in the morning, see what he has to say.

Afternoon Mollie annd Hicky  Overcast all day here …but no rain , yet .Not a bad night for me , but I was feeling quite low first thing , so I didn’t feel like a walk today . So I’ve stayed in and done the duvet shuffle . Aside from that , I’ve not done much , just two loads of washing , fed the birds , cleaned the bathroom, and once the duvet couple is dry that’s me done for the day .I hope everyone else’s Saturday is going well though .

Sorry to hear you were feeling low this morning, i am ok, confused about this eye, never had diabetes and BP was always fine, only thing that has changed is cutting out milk, or taking the tablets that fixed my heart problem, it will feel strange not needing my white stick to waen people i had limited vision, it will be interesting to see what they do on the next eye clinic visit on the 9th, i am expecting to need injections though.

Rentokil came, found no sign of any creatures alive or dead, so has signed me off, isnt that strange, i was looking into the life cycle of the green bottle fly and from egg its a day till hatvh as grub, stays grub for a week then pupates, then after a week it gets out and flies away, it then has to mate and lay eggs as it dies after 3 days, the only thing found was 2 pupating flies, one by a cleaner on wednesday and 1 by rentokil man 3 weeks earlier in the meter cupboard, so strange.

Watching F1 recordings, will see what else is on as well.

Just realised there is darts tonight and 2 sessions tomorrow, i had it on my chart as its usually got darts somewhere from friday for the 3 days all year, it tells me where they are playing but not what channel they are on, i looked yesterday but didnt see a channel with it on and just saw it before while looking through the schedules on the channels, its on channel 26 for me ITV4, darn it missed half.

Hope Mollie is fine and enjoying her saturday.

That is brilliant news your eye has improved so much and you don't need the white stick. How odd you don't know why though. Maybe you had a problem that just healed itself over time? Hope it carries on improving now.

How annoying you missed half of your darts, but good job you noiced it, so didn't miss the lot.

Still busy sorting stuff out in our new home. MrM is putting pictures up now, I just watch and tell him if it looks like they are postioned right. Don't trust myself on a step ladder!

Went out for lunch with my friend, MrM and son yesterday. It was lovely as we haven't been able to fit lunch out together for a long while. I had veggie burger and sweet potato fries, then friend tempted me into desert. We had strawberries with ice cream and cream, very nice.
