Afternoon Mollie and Hicky  🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰Not a great night ….lots of dreams …and I woke up and for a split second I thought my mum , dad, and husband were still alive .😞😞Consequently , despite feeling very weary , I’ve been trying to keep busy today . I went to the shop , restocked the bird food  , done a load of washing , some weeding , emptied bins , and done a general tidy up . The gardener finally  came this morning ( his van had been in the garage for a repair) , so lawns and hedging are tidy again . Aside from that I had a pork chops for lunch , and that’s me exhausted and finished for the day .🤣🤣🤣I hope everyone else is having a better day that me.😁

Weather ok here today, had a look around the garden, neighbour put the bin out, window cleaners came, had a nice brekkie.

I used to have some scary dreams once many moons ago and ended up forcing myself to wake up to stop the dream, and it worked.

Glad your gardener turned up at least, soon gets things looking so much better.

My lad and his mrs enjoyed the seeded loaf i made for them so thats good, will make another soon when this French loaf runs out.

It was a friend of my neighbour that had Covid 5 times, but its quite mild now, i suppose her body is building up resistance.

If i cant find anything good on tv i just go to my massive collection of recording, must have hundreds of them.

I think it is rare for people to test for covid now, so maybe a lot of people get it a few times, but, like you said, it is milder now, so resembles a cold now.

I agree there is not much on tv right now, so I have been watching recordings too.

I went to the barbers, she washes my hair, cuts hair and trims beard etc, i was talking about her home visits, its a Tuesday & Wednesday after 5pm when she finishes work, good to know.

Am thinking of making a fruit cake tomorrow, something to do, will probably mix in a bowl and bake in the machine, just a test run to see how it turns out, the machine has about 60 recipes, so plenty of choice there.

That was nice getting out fpr brekkie with your friend and her grandson, always nice to get out, i have so many options of food to eat, good fun choosing though, just made some chips earlier and had a chip shop pot of curry over them, i just get spuds from iceland, so easy, i chip them, soak them, dry them, oild them, and set air fryer to 200c for 20 minutes, wow, so good.

I bought one of those toothpaste dispensers but cant get the toothpaste tubs to fit in so have ordered another, if this doesnt work i will give up that idea and get aa toothpaste pump unit.

Just watching the darts, night 16 of 17, the final is next thursday.

My plants in the kitchen, on the window ledge are growing well, still a bit small to take out though.

( cancelled ) I've got F1 for tomorrow and the weekend so pleased about that, edited, just found out the F1 has been called off because of the trrible floods in Italy.

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky  I slept well last night , but it’s rained on and off all day , and , while it’s definitely less stressful than yesterday , I’m still not feeling 100% so no walk this morning…although I might pop up the local shop once my meds have arrived . One delivery came on time  this morning , but apparently the other one won’t be here until tomorrow . I’ve spent the morning doing two loads of washing , and cleaned the bathroom and kitchen , so not a totally wasted day .I also had some nice lamb chops for lunch , and that’s me done for the day .I hope everyone else is having a nice Friday ….whatever you are up to .

Glad you slept better Baz, it always helps, i made the fruit cake after the delivery came, i mixed the ingredients in a big bowl as for this recipe the machine just cooks it, as i didnt have enough eggs till iceland come i used dried eggs and reconstituted the powder to make 3 eggs, and as i dont have milk i made some with milk powder, the cake is lovely anyway so pleased with that.

I think the toothpaste dispensers are more for the children, disabled and the aged, i have dificulty putting the toothpaste onto the toothbrush, anyway, i gave up trying to insert the toothpaste into the original dispenser as the hole is too small and the material too hard to push the tube in, they say to screw the tube in but the receiver isnt threaded, anyway, i bought another model which came today, i have managed to fit the tub in as the design is better and you can hold the toothpaste by the screw end so can put a little pressure on the paste and screw it in, also you can take it all to bits to fit the paste if needed, something the other one couldnt do as you couldnt assemble it with the toothpaste tube installed.

I've ordered my next iceland delivery, that should come tomorrow lunchtime.

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky I hope everyone is enjoying this sunny  Sunday .I had a dreadful night , so I finally bit the bullet and started the antibiotics! But I did manage to go for a short stroll …only about 2k ….and it wasn’t the most comfortable walk , but at least I got some sunshine . I also did a little a bit of tidying up in the garden cos it’s garden bin week ….now I’m knackered ! Aside from that , I’ve not done much apart from a load of washing . I had some nice poached salmon for lunch …and that’s me done for the day .

Mollie , I hope your day is going well . I enjoyed DTI this morning , and that you are looking forward to camping tonight .Hicky , oh I see what you mean about the toothpaste dispenser .I hope your Iceland delivery came ok …and that you’ve got lots of lovely goodies .

Sorry you didnt have a good night, didnt realise you had antibiotics you hadnt been taking, poached salmon makes a nice meal.

For brekkie i had salt cod, bacon and a poached egg.

Not having any luck with a toothpaste dispencers, got the tubs into the new dispencer but cant get any to pump out, not sure why, will have to investigate, very strange, like this new one, the same principle as the old one but easier to get at.

Had a cheese Pizza for tea, added some sliced green chili after i baked it, very tasty.

Looking at my plants on my kitchen window ledge, they look as though they will have to be planted out soon, i have the 10 chili & 8 melon which i will have to find room for either in the greenhouse, raised beds or in the outside tubs, where raspberry canes should have grown but half have no growth showing yet.

Hope Mollie is having a good weekend, nice weather all round it seems, the only rain i can see on the forecast here is June 2nd.

PS: I saw the caravan park show Happy Campers:  very good, just watching rich house poor house, also very good.

Well done making a yummy fruit cake. Bet you enjoyed that. Your home made chips sound good too, amazing what an air fryer can make.

What a shame the toothpaste thing didn't work for you. Have you tried buying the sort of toothpaste that comes in a dispenser rather than a tube? Don't think you have to press too hard to get the toothpaste out.

Sounds like you are about to get busy with your planting. Hope you manage to get it done ok.

This warm weather is lovely, glad to see we have more to come.

This weekend, spent a lot of time in the garden but also been to the seafront for an icecream. sampled some with the chocloate fountain. Delicous.

And went to an animal farm to see the new spring additions. Saw little chicks, a baby goat and a young llama, amongst many ohter small animals.

Visited the pups today, its bonkers now in my friend;s house with 5 pups running everywhere. She has had a to buy a stair gate to keep them in 1 room.

It would be about the same, the hairdresser charges £15 for home service and £8 at the shop, but i pay £5 each way for the taxi, but i would probably give her £20 anyway, i give her £10 in the shop so its about the same.

I am going to look into the toothpaste in a dispenser, think it should be a better option, rather than what i have bought so far.

Yes, should be able to get the plants planted Friday as my lad is due, got 18 plants in all.

Might make a seeded loaf tomorrow, depends how i feel really, will have to cover the cherries on the tree, or some of them, as soon as they are edible the birds come and attack them, they used to when i had a load of cherry trees years ago, but they were in tubs and you need to retub them every 3 years or they get root bound and stop producing much fruit and stop growing, and when a tree stops growing it dies usually.

Afternoon Mollie annd Hicky  Overcast this morning , but I slept quite well ….apart from being woken up by the bin men at the crack of dawn ! So I went for a two and a half k walk first thing …and I’ve changed sheets , done some washing , and cleaned kitchen . I had some nice lamb chops for lunch and that’s me done for today . Glad you slept better Baz, it all helps, i am going to order one of those pump toothpaste ones, i got a little bit of toothpaste out of the dispenser last night, not as much as was needed i think, will try again though.

I have ordered a new Tower air fryer, the one with the 3 shelves and a spit and rotary drum, i was watching it on Ideal World tv channel, going to try it when it arrives.

Had a piece of hallibut then a pork loin chop, did the fish in the air fryer and the chop in the george foreman.

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky  Sunny and quite warm today . I didn’t have a bad night , and feel a bit better today so I went for a 3k walk first thing . I had a delivery mid morning ….a new rug that I only ordered yesterday .Aside from that , I’ve changed sheet , done two loads of washing , cleaned bathroom, and done some dusting . I’ve had some lunch , and now I’m waiting for the gas man to come and do my annual service ….not sure exactly when , just any time between 12-6 ….hopefully it will be sooner rather than later ! I hope everyone else is having a good Thursday …and enjoying some sunshine .

Glad you had a better sleep Baz, my watch says i had 9 and a half hours last night, which is good, of course it depends on when i get to bed.

I had the Podietrist here today, the binnies came so thats sorted.

I got a bit of toothpaste out of the dispenser again, not sure how much it should give me, have the pump one down on my Amazon order, in case its needed.

I have ordered another bread slicing aid as the 2 i have had just arent big enough so am going to try another, they seem to make them to cut the long rounder bread, not the home machine baked bread, i will find on in the end, that comes tomorrow, so does my lad, he's coming to help with planting the chilies and melon plants.

Just watching the darts final after 16 weeks of 1 night games, got F1 from tomorrow, will record so i dont miss any.

The seeded loaf i made yesterday is very nice, makes lovely toast as well/

We saw a baby sparrow being fed by its mum on our bird table today. The baby one flaps its wings like mad, then the parent bird puts the bird seed into the baby's mouth.

Other than tea time club, I haven't watched anything today. Been busy catching up and sorting washing, then had to go for a food shop tonight. Lots of paperwork to sort with the house buying too.

Have just switched It's be Alright on the Night for a bit of background light tv.

Yesterday we went to Ikea to look at wardrobes, as new house has none. And went to Primark, bought a nice new T shirt with flowers on, and some t shirts for son, as he needs lots when he is out and about in summer filming all day. (they start filming again soon).  Plain T shirts are only £2.50 for men there, so easily replaced.

Went for brekkie with friend and grandson Wednesday. He is such a sweet child, considering he is only 3 and we sit in the resteraunt for an hour and half chatting. He does enjoy his food though.... ......especially toast with jam but minus the crusts.

The air fryer came, also the cleaner spray foam which was advertised with it, it is very nice, 3 shelves and the rotisserie stuff, i was expecting a Rotisserie rotating basket so was confused as i thought it was part of the kit, i rang them up and was told, the first girl i spoke to said they have a basket and gave me a number so i put it into the search and it came up, i said to her, i cant see a basketjust a handle, she said, the nasket is there, so i put it in my basket, then went to the basket and it said a Rotisserie handle for the air fryer, so i took it back out and rang again, this time a girl said we dont sell a basket for that model, i said i saw it on the show while watching the air fryer, she said it must have been a different fryer, anyway, on searching the web i have fund one that might work, so ordered that,

I did some chicken wings to try it, then a piece of toast, but it doesnt say where to put any food so i put a slice of my seed bread on a shelf in the middle and selected toast, it auto selected 200c and 6 minutes, anyway, the bread came out toasted one side. so a bit confused, been looking at a manual online, a PDF as cant rad the one that came as its white paper, small and very faint print which could be in colour, i cant see any help in the manual so might enmail them as i cant find a number to ring Tower up.

My new bread slicer aid came, fantastic, its easy big enough, ideal so happy with that i'll throw the old one out, this is the 3rd i've bought.

Got all the 18 seedlings planted as my lad came, put 8 chili in the greenhouse and the last 2 chili and 8 melon plants outside in one of the raised beds, then thinned out the grape vine outside as it had way too many shoots with drapes on.

I was woken at 08:30 when Amazon delivered the bread slicer aid, i rushed to the door, he was going to put the parcel in the gas meter cupboad.

Just watching my air fryer on the Ideal World tv channel on Freeview which is 51, looking for a Rotisserie basket, maybe i was dreaming but sure it was with the Tower Vortx T17051BLK 14.5L

Yes, darts last night, the final, winner got £275k, and F2 today and the weekend.

Just seen them select toast in my air fryer, but they put toast in with cheese etc on it, wow, it came out great, it mustnt be to make toast, my error.

Not a bad night for me , so I’ve been for a short walk this morning , and topped up my vitamin D .Aside from that I’ve not done much ….just two loads of washing …..cos for some reason I’m feeling quite weary ! A lovely day here, managed to water the plants we put out yesterday, the auro watering system is on but its nt really for seedlings till they get a bit bigger and the roots are further daown.

The Rotisserie basket problem seemed to be my error, i assumed it was part of the Tower air fryer, but its not, they must have been selling a different air fryer at the time i saw the rotary basket with chips in, anyway, i found one on Amazon that said it was for a Tower air fryer, strange as the Tower site doesnt have a rotary basket, anyway, it came today, it it fine, i set it up and tested it, without food just to see it worked ok, it comes without the locking finger screws as you use the ones from the Rotisserie forks, so i have ordered a spare set of Rotisserie bar complete with forks and screws.

The new bread slicing aid works even better than i imagined, it is a plastic unit that has a movable plastic plate that determines the thickness of the slice of bread you cut, a drop down section drops down to act as the base for the loaf to stand on, you push the loaf into the frame of the unit until it reaches the front section where the thickness plate is, you then insert the bread knife into the cutting section and proced to cut though the loaf, this model comes with a special mat to put down to stop the unit sliding while its in use.

I went for a walk , did the duvet shuffle , two loads of washing , a bit more tidying up in the garden , fed the birds, washed down the patio , put the bin out ready for collection tomorrow , had lamb chops for lunch …..and that’s me totally jiggered! A very nice sunny day here, pretty warm as well, its 17c out now, walked the garden to see how things are, late afternoon gave the new seedlings some water, altered the greenhouse tub watering from 30 minutes a morning to 15, that should be ok, will keep an eye on them, might have to turn up the timers for the outsude plants in the raised beds and tubs if this hot weather holds up.

The Rotiserie basket works great, did chips in it again today.

I have made a packing board for the slicer, its only cardboard from an Amazon box but it gives me the option of having thinner slices of bread, why they always assume you want a slice of toast to be 1.2cm thick i have no idea.

You have been busy Baz, as well as having a walk, i would be worn out doing allyou do in a day.

I've just put the dishwasher on as cleanwers should be here tomorrow and dont like leaving dishes for them to clean up.

Expecting the heart nursse tomorrow as well.

The urology appointment is Friday morning as the hospital.

I enjoyed Bargain Brits today. I did supsect they were showing a single episode on Bank Hol Monday to entice people to watch the new series, they advertised as starting soon in the evenings. Shame we can't watch it on Tea time Club though.

What a laugh our weekend DTI impress is. The contestants on it do often seem rather thin on the brains front though. Also not entirely sure how much it enhances our fashion knowledge either.

Good job you have a bit of a design brain, so you could deisgn a packing board for the bread slicer, I too don't like it too thick.

Been hot here too again today. Recently the weather has just been perfect, plenty of sun, but not too hot. Looks like we have more to come too. Hope so.

Busy weekend.

MrM helped my friend put up a trellis in her garden. It is one with plastic leaves and does look very nice, it covers the brickwork on her shed.

The next day the trip to the vets was exhausting and stressfull.

It was their first time out and it was a very hot day. So they were sick in their cage carrier on the way. My friend had to clean it up (luckily we had bought her a huge kitchen roll from Costco with us) then we had to dash in the shop and buy a new blanket to line their carrier, then throw the other one in the bin.

People in the car park kept coming up to us and one lady filmed them live to show it to her daughter. The 5 of them do look extremely cute together though.

The 5 pups were all in their cage carrier which is very big, so MrM had to help my friend carry it up the stairs to the vets after she had cleaned it out.  Mummy dog was really upset when she heard her babies crying as the needle for the security tag is big. We had to bring mum dog with us because she would have been too stressed for all the pups to go out without her. But they all now have security tags, and had their 1st injection. They have to have another one in 4 weeks, and can't go out for a walk until they have had it.

Then in the afternoon we went to the milk shed to get fresh milk , it seems to get more popular each week. Not surprised as the milk is delicous.

We also had a BBQ over the weekend, and it took MrM ages to prepare it as rain had got in over the cover. But it was yummy when finished.

Enjoyed watching BGT tonight. Luckily it is on all week, so that's nice.

Heart nurse was very pleased with me, her first visit for 3 months, she wants a blood test, a CT scan or something and an ECG, she trued to get one but it didnt work, so often the case, it nexer seemed to work at the docs when i wanted one some time ago, so finiky the connections to your skin and that, but all the tests she did were fine so she was vey happy, she now wants to see if the meds have inproved my heart functions, i think they have but it might be too early to say yet.

The cleaners came at lunch time, befor the nurse came, the cleaner emptied the wardrobes of dresses etc, shoes, gloves, some stuff never been out of the box, probably 10 or more sacks, ornaments as well, no good to me, it will be taken to a Hospice sales area which is so;d off to help pay the costs, Mrs H was in the hospice for 6 or 8 weeks.

Yes, this latest air fryer is fantastic, i made cheese on toast again for brekkie, i put it in an ally tray, lined with foil and baking paper and put it on one of the wire shelves, press a few touch buttons and its away, love it.

I'm going to try some chicken thighs on the spit, i will marinate them first, should be interesting, going to make another seeded loaf tomorrow.

I can imagine 5 pups being a nightmare, they wont be too keep to go to a vets again either.

I've stopped drinking Milk, i had a feeling it was adding to all the plehm i was getting, so now 99% has stopped which is great, think it just effects some people, just something in the milk, not sure if its the same with milk from other animals.

I'm just watching recordings of Gold Divers, all day it had Gold Hunters, love that as well.

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky   Hope everyone is having a good day . Ros popped around for a couple of hours this morning ….which was lovely ….first time we’ve seen each other since Covid. Aside from that I’ve done two loads of washing , and am now waiting for two deliveries ….one of which was due yesterday …one of which isn’t due until next Monday …..go figure !

Well docs was a total cock up ! First there was a mix up with my taxi! So tried to phone surgery to tell them I would be late ….hung on phone for 20 minutes and couldn’t get through….taxi finally arrived , but by time I got there ,  and waited another 10 minutes in queue receptionist said doc was fully booked and I’d have to phone up tomorrow for another appointment! Oh dear Baz, what a disaster with the docs, so annoying that, deliveried seldom seem to come when expected, of course it sepends who is delivering though, some companies have awful tracking.

I was looking at the new adverts for the long roll toilet paper, its advertised on the tv now, the rolls are proberly the same price as normal rolls but the rolls are twice as long and 50% of all profits goes to charities supplying toilets in parts of the world, its called "Who gives a crap", Amazon sell it.

I made a seeded lpaf again, just had a crust, perfect, have got a delivery tomorrow which can use some bread, its a 1kg Spanish Boneless Jalon Sarrano Ham, my lad had some today, son #5 it was his Birthday Moday so they have gone to Barcelona for the week / weekend as its a friends wedding as well and they are invited.

Hope Mollie has had a good day, the bins out, they empty them tomorrow, recycle this week.

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky  I hope everyone is having a good day . Not a great night for me ….but at least I wasn’t trying to buy penguins again .I haven’t felt up to a walk today …..I feel very weary …..although I did pop up the local shop . So I’ve spent the day catching up on housework , emptied bins ,  washing , and washed down the patio ….so not a totally wasted day .I had some nice poached salmon for lunch , and that’s the sum total of my exciting Friday .

Mollie , hope you are having a good day . …and are enjoying your bgt final .I bet you are lying out in the garden right now ….but will hopefully see you for cdwm at 5 o’clock By the way , we gave up on the Masterchef final yesterday, cos it had been bliddy obvious who was going to win! So we ended up watching Bargain Brits after all .Hicky , both my deliveries finally arrived on Wednesday evening ….go figure .Awww belated happy birthday to Number 5 son…..I hope he had a lovely time in Barcelona .

Sorry you didnt have a good night, mine was not so good as had problem with the Evri delivery.

I was expecting them to deliver 2 parcels, emails said between 8 and 9pm, i waited and waited and left the shutters so i could see out, at 9:39pm a car pulled up outside the front, in the road, i went to the front door, which is on the side of the house, not the front, i waited then the car drove off, i then got an email saying the parcel had been delivered, i then spent a long time getting in touch with Evri, today still no sign of the parcels and thought if they had been delivered to a house with someone in they would have brought them round to me, the i rang Tower, they got info from Evri and said it looks like the data coordinates  show they delivered the parcels to next door can i go and check, i said ok, i went next door and the parcels were on the step, the house is umoccupied just now, then i had to get back in touch with everyone and tell them i had found the parcels.

Yes, my lad is enjoying Barcelona, the is amazed to see the Millionaire boats in the harbour, its the Spanish grand prix this weekend so the place is buzzing.

I've been to see the Urology consultant this morning at the hospital, well, the shockwave treatment did nothing so he gave me 2 options, one was do nothing, the other is go in and zap the right kifney first with a Laser beem to break the 3 stones up, i said, go ahead, i have to try and get rid of the problem, after all these years of having kidney stones i need to do something.

I have a delivery from Iceland tomorrow, i am at a medical centre Monday for bloods for the heart nurse.

Glad i have F1 this weelend, good to have tv to watch, although i always record first.

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky  Sunny and more than warm enough for me .I had a better night ….thank goodness …..and my new summer bedding arrived this morning ….so I’ve taken off my snuggly teddy fleece bedding ….just hope I can sleep without it tonight !Aside from that I’ve been for a walk , done a bit more tidying up in the garden , done one load of washing , and another one is waiting to go on . I had some nice M&S cold ham for lunch , and basically that’s me done for the day .I hope everyone else is enjoying their Sunday .

Nice here today, had a wander around the trees etc, put a codling moth trap on one of the apple trees, need to spray them against the moth in middle of June, seached my gardening shed for half an hour looking for the codling moth packet of treatment, then went back to the summerhouse wondering why i couldnt find it, oh dear, it was waiting for me on the sheving as you go in, put another 5 minutes on the 3 timer computers so each set to a 20 minute water, will have to see how things go, no rain showing for a week, i might set them to twice a day.

Had some of the Iceland Hash Browns filled with baked beans, wow, so nice.

The kidney stone shockwave treatment is non invasive, plan B is internal and will take an hour and could involve quite a lot of side effects etc so they only do that if they have no other option, also they cant do it while i am awake, as far as i know.

Glad you slept better and managed a walk, there is workers next door as i could hear some hammering during the day, just some jobs the new owners wanted doing, not sure when they are moving in.

I had a pack of seafood mix this afternoon, ready cooked just let it thaw in the fridge overnight, nice anyway, just had 10 of the Tempura king prawns and the other half of a trifle.

Hope Mollie has had a good Sunday anyway.

I've ordered the taxi for down the road, i have to give bloods for the heart nurse as she hasnt seen them for 3 months.

Apart from that I’ve done a load of washing , rescued the bins , and hoovered . I had some nice pork steak for lunch , and that’s me done for today . .

The chicken i cooked on the rotisserie was so yummy, had the wings and a leg after it came out of the air fryer, have been nibbling it since so tonight i put the rest into a pan of Madras curry sauce, rather lovely.

The Laser option is the only thing left to remove the stones, i could do nothing but i cant take the risk, i have lost count of the operations and procedures i have had so one more isnt a problem, thats life, i just hope i dont have to waot too long, not sure if its undertaken as a day patient or whether i have to go to a ward for a day or 2.

I rang Tower about the air fryer as it had a button i didnt know what it did, the girl didnt know either and asked me to go press it to see what it did, well i did that and it set the temperature to 000 and the time to 1:00, later she said, i know what it is, its a delay timer button, you can use the + & - keys to set the delay timer to start the cooking at a later time, between 1 hour and 10 hours, she said it seems to have the wrong label.

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky  Sunny , but not very warm here today . A so so night for me , but I did manage to go for a walk first thing ….so a bit less lazy than yesterday .Aside from that , I’ve hoovered upstairs and down, cleaned kitchen , and done a small load of washing . I had some cold meat for lunch , and I may go out and do a bit more in the garden later ….but then again , maybe I won’t .I hope everyone else is having a nice Thursday .

Mollie , I hope you are enjoying the sunshine ….it’s looking like it’s going to be very humid over the weekend ….cue uncomfortable nights ! I bet you can’t wait til you get your fluffy bundle on Sunday .Hicky , I hope you don’t have to wait to long for your laser treatment …although given the state of the nhs these days.My son finally had his echo done this week ….it was due in January , but got postponed twice because of doctors strikes !Thankfully, initially at least ,  it looks like things are all clear .

Not done much today, binnies came and neighbour put bin back for me, then i bolted the big gate, have got the garden watering on twice a day now with it getting sunny during the day as a lot of water will evaporate.

At least you managed a walk, i'm just going to empty the dish washer, only put it on when i have enough to fill it, i have turned off my central heating as i dont need it in the summer, even though gas is the cheapest means of energy just now for the household,

I am recording bargain loving brits, always record those, love them.

Did cheese and tom on toast for brekkie, in the air fryer, not much i cant cook in that.

hope you got your walk in today. Glad I made Tea time club just in tme and that you waited for me. Enjoyed our other Brits in Sun show too. Next weeks Tea Time club should be really good in Blackpool.

I did have a lovely time with our friends thank you. They fly back to Oz next Thursday, so glad we managed to spend time with them.

Did you sleep ok under your summer bedding? I too have shed the teddy covers for now.

that is a relief the heart nurse is so pleased with your progress, but what a shame there is more to be sorted with the kidney stones. Let's hope they don't keep you waiting too long, as I know you would like to go abroad to see the family.

How frustrating they have put the wrong label on the air fryer, which made it more difficult for you to work it all out.

We too love those Heinz Baked Beans hash browns from Iceland. Really tasty and crisp done in the air fryer. I saw the boss of Iceland on tv this morning. Seems such a nice guy. He said he climbed Everest to raise money for a special centre for dementia (him mum died of it), and explained that they are not one of the most expensive supermarkets that the press accused them of being, because the press only used the big brand prices and not their own brand , so it was an unfair comparison. He said their own brand is good value. (I agree).

How nice your son got invited to a wedding in Barcelona.

Been busy getting prepared for the puppy and I had tons of washing to get through, as we went away.

Been out for lunch today with the family, had cheese/potato pie with veg, Very nice.

Hope it does not get too hot over the weekend, it has been so pleasant for weeks now, but not looking forward to this humidity they say we sre getting.

I've got an appointment at the heard hospital on 5th July for a scan or ecg or both, the nurse told me she would order them.

Still waiting for a Urology appointment, i'm not down as urgent so will have to wait, need another blood test as one of the 4 items in the last tests needs another test, dont know which test it was though.

Yes, so much bother over a delivery by Evri, had about 14 emails about it, half the time i was talking online to a bot, hate them.

Yes, putting a label on the airfryer that says "Preset", who would guess it means Time Delay before the fryer starts, crazy, I thought it funny the customer servive girl asking me to press it to see what happens.

I dont think Iceland are expensive, and they have very good stuff or they wouldnt still be in business, i have another delivery tomorrow, they have great stuff, i like to search and see what comes up for choice.

My lad had a great time in Barcelona, he had some great food as well.

You are going to be more busy when the puppy arrives.

Cheese potato pie, not had that before, bet that was nice.

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky  🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰Another hot day here ….but it is looking like rain at the moment ….and it must have rained overnight because there were some puddles on my walk . I feel a bit better today , but I had a disturbed night ! It’s my wedding anniversary today . Anyway , I’ve changed the bedding , done the duvet shuffle , done two loads of washing , washed down the patio, and fed the birds ….I have to keep topping up the birdbath cos it keeps drying out ! I had cold meat for lunch , and I have to iron the duvet cover and put it back on the bed , and then  that’s me done for the day . I hope everyone else is enjoying their Sunday , whatever you are up to .

Yes, not a good time just now for you Baz, anniversary brings so much back.

We had a lot of thunder last night and a lot of rain i think, i could hear it hitting the utility flat roof, u should have turned the outside watering off but didnt want to go out in the rain.

I cooked another chicken today on the rotisserie but didnt tie the legs and wings, oh dear, but after it started i realised but couldnt take it out again, i tied the last one but i used some cooking rayon and it burnt, sure i have some in the mancave, will need to check.

Got my iceland delivery yesterday, messed up with eggs, oh dear, somehow i ended up with 49 eggs worth over £10, when i did the order, over a week, i must have kept adding eggs, when i checked out it said 1 selection of eggs was out of stock so select an alternative, anyway when the driver came, i had a 25 pack of medium, a 12 pack, a 10 pack, 2 6 packs, i gave the driver the 15 & the 12 pack, told him to refund 1 pack and take the other home, i kept 22 eggs and gave him 27 to take away.

I had ordered extra eggs because they usually say they were out of stock, but this week they had them all.

I like Happy campers, any docu's or reality shows, started on my recording of Love Island last night, 24hrs in A&E has 54 recordings, i have 4 pages of 12 each recording headings, so many, will never run out.

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky  Another scorching day ….28 degrees ….the thunderstorm didn’t really clear the air at all !It’s making me very weary .But I did go for a walk very early this morning ….before 9 o’clock ….but it was still hot even then! Still , I got some fresh air and vitamin D ! Apart from that I’ve cleaned the kitchen , bathroom, and done a load of washing . I also went out rescued the bin and tidied up a bit in the garden ….but it got too hot out there after a few minutes !I hope everyone else is managing to stay cool !

Mollie , I hope the puppy is behaving itself.I enjoyed Brits Blackpool yesterday ….the old dears were hilarious .I hope it’s a bit cooler down there than it is up here !Hicky , we had two huge thunderstorms yesterday …really heavy rain and .some really big claps of thunder ….think it must have been right overhead at one point !Whoops with the egg order You’ve got a lot of recordings .

Yes, nice and warm, my watch says it 28c outside in the shade now, wow, not done much today, just making meals really, will go for a walk around the garden soon, its a bit cooler now as the sun goes lower.

I'm going to use up some of my stock of sliced batches, will be making another loaf this week.

Watching a recording of Gold Divers, an interesting docu, people have been working in the next door bungalow, they must be moving in soon.

Glad ypu got a walk in Baz before it got too hot, yes, the fresh air will do you good.

Had a buzy day here as gardener rang at 09:15 to say he was available after the job he was going to finished, started to sort brekkie out, at 11:00 he was here, wow, he was deweeding, it took 4.5 hrs, did a marvellous job as usual, front, side (driveway) and back inc raised beds etc.

He noticed i had some Figs as well as apples, pears, raspberries, grapes & cherries.

Just watching a program about holiday scams, brings back what happened to me and my lad and partners, when we all got to NYC and arrived at the destination in a taxi and the driver dropped us off on the pavement with all the luggage, it was December and freezing and we had just come from Hawaii so were not dressed in winter gear, my lad went in to reception, oh dear he had been scammed, they had no booking, but lucky enough there was a hotel 50 mtr away ans we booked in there as they had 24 hr reception, a close shave, lucky ebough my lad had only paid a deposit.

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky  Another scorching day here….but now I’ve  bought two new T-shirts I guarantee the weather will break .Not a brilliant night ….got off ok , but woke up at 5 o’clock and couldn’t get back to sleep again ! Consequently, I’ve not really done a lot today ….had to wait in for a delivery as well…..so all I’ve done is some washing , dusted , popped to the local shop , and done a little bit of tidying up in the garden ….during which time I’ve managed to lose my bliddy secateurs …..go figure .I hope everyone else is enjoying their day , and are managing to stay cool .
