I did enjoy Gogglebox, but had to watch some of it the next day with all the doggie and family interruptions and the fact, I now seem exhausted, so start my tidyy up jobs before 10pm ,so I can get to bed by 10pm, to rest all my aching limbs. Then I usually read in bed. This arthritis gets so uncomfy later at night. I do prefer the ordinary Gogglebox to the celeb one though. They are such characters.

Yes Dine with Me is fun, even though we didn't get a good result last week.

I am watching Bargain Loving Brits tonight.

It was cooler here too today. Not surprised your greenhouse needed some water, as it was very hot and dry for a couple of days.

Oh dear, what a shame you messed up the bread making. It is so easy to do. MrM too likes making bread, but has had quite a few go wrong lately.

At least you have had plenty of choice of tv to watch this weekend, so that's good.

Are you planning on going to the cafe for brekkie this week? I hope to go Wednesday with my friend and her little grandson, as I haven't seen them for a few weeks due to this nasty cold.

Feeling much better now, but that cold exhausted me, and am having to take antihistamines due to hay fever. Son has hay fever very bad today, so is staying in his room with air filter on, as he has work tomorrow, so just hopes it dies down a little. We had a very weird bright orange sunset with a rainbow last night and this morning everything outside is covered in dust, so that could have caused these allergies to get worse.

I have my physio class tomorrow, hard work and tiring but worth the effort if it helps. I have to go on the bus too as all the family will be at work when it is my appointment. At least it is a good forecast.

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky  A sunny day here , and not too hot ….so a pleasant day here . I had a mediocre night , but did manage to go for a three and a half k walk this morning . Apart from that I’ve not done a lot , just one load of washing , hoovered , and got bins ready for collection tomorrow …so quite a lazy day chez Baz .I hope everyone else is having a more productive day than me .

Sunny here today and fortunately not too hot, hope it carries on like it.

That was a nice long walk for you, you have come on in leaps and bounds since you did your foot in.

Didn't realise you too liked that Brits by the Sea, so hopefully I will join you next week.

I sat in the garden this afternoon, nice cooling breeze and sunshine, so all my washing dried well too.

My son's hayfever has improved with taking the antihistamine and nose spray, so he should be back at work tomorrow. But his nose is still blocked and throat and eyes itchy. Hopefully the pollen will die down a a little now.

Had veggie burger, new potatoes and salad for tea.

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky Sunny day here , and pleasant temperature . I didn’t have a bad night , so I went for a walk first thing this morning . Apart from that I’ve cleaned kitchen , dusted , done a load of washing , done a bit of tidying up in the garden , and dealt with my M&S order . I had poached salmon for lunch , and that’s me done for the day .I hope everyone else is having a good Tuesday .

Mollie , I hope you’re enjoying the sunshine today …and that the warmth helps your arthritis a bit . Yes, when I first started going for a walk after my ankle  it was all I could do to walk around the block . CDWM looks like being a doozy this week , eh .Hicky , I hope you are ok and are enjoying your garden in the sunshine .

Got to the cafe Sunday, and got some groceries from the McColl's next door, couldnt get a taxi but a neighbour came in the shop and offered me a lift home which was handy.

Gardener came today, he was next door but he popped round for a short while to do some weeding.

Did a wash load and dried and put away

Heart nurse came today as well, i am ok but still got water retention so she is giving me half of a tablet to stop hardening of parts of my heart, will take the prescription in tomorrow as i might as well go for brekkie, and also got to the post office as i have a cheque to go in and the paying in book came yesterday, i need my beard grooming but not sure if someone in the centre can do it for me.

I record Brits in the Sun, always have, love it, i record Love Island as well, at the weekend i was watching 4 programs at once, going from 1 to the other.

I've been doing more sorting in the freezers so i can find what i want easier, so in the kitchen one i have a shelf of meat, another shelf of fish, a drawer of bread & rolls with a drawer of choc ices and oddments and 2 shelves of oddments, i've been bringing stuff from the garage into the house so it's easier to see what i have, it has made plenty of room outside.

I was surprised to fing i had 2 big bags of mash in the garage so brought 1 in, knew i had some, wasnt sure where.

I've been eating more of my latest loaf, it's nice either toasted or not, will be making more, still need to work on how wet the dough is and the cooking time, 2 things that are controlling the outcome, i only used half of the amount i usually make, i normally use 500g of flour, and the half measure made a loaf the full size of the small tin so good job i didnt make the 500g, it would have been all over the oven i suppose.

Had a busy day really, got a Taxi to  take the prescription to Townfield Pharmacy, left it with them to halve the tablets, went to the Barbers, got my hair and beard trimmed, then went to Post Office to put the cheque in, then went to Café for brekkie, then went to McColls for some fruit/veg and other bits, then got a taxi home.

Had a nice Plaice fillet with some salad for tea, got a few nice bits from McColl's, including potato salad, love it.

Hope you are both ok anyway.

I too went out for brekkie yesterday with my son, friend and her 2 year old grandson. Great to get out after being unwell with that damn cold. But am well again now.

I too love potato salad, so tasty.

Glad to see you have been enjoying your latest loaf. Good job you did make the smaller one, cleaning out the oven from a bigger one would not have been a nice job.

It was "weary weather" here too today. But I am glad to say, it feels like the muggyness has at last moved on now it has clouded over. I kept waking last night as it was so hot and stuffy, despite having the fan on all night.

Good job you went for you walk early on. We chose to go for a walk on the seafront as it is cooler there with the seabreeze. And of course I had my fave green stripy ice cream to cool down. (as did MrM) and son had a choccy stripe one.

I can't walk far at once with my bad knee, but did ok with a few rest stops on the way. (physio told me to do this when it hurts).

Yes Sewing was fun, but that result was ridiculous.

Looking forward to Hotel Inspector tonight, I like that show.

How is your daughter Mollie, a stepson of one of my lads has Crones and is very ill most of the time, not at school, in a right mess.

Yes, i get the full English, well on the small one i get you don't have black pud, but i struggle to eat it as it is.

Pretty warm today, have changed to Summer clothes now, shorts and short sleeve shirts, had a liitle walk around the culdi and the garden, made a brekkie but much prefer from the café.

Glad i got some fruit yesterday, i have bananas, easy peelers and strawbs so ok for a few days, problem with going to the shop on a Sunday is they dont stock the shelves so think i will be going again on a Wednesday when they have more stock in.

The heart nurse is on holiday now or soon so i am only taking the half of the new tablet every other day as i cant contact her, i could contact the hospital office but i tild her i could take one ever other day and she said ok, all tablets and medicine has side effects that's the problem, i'm booked in for another blood test as well on the 7th,

Aaaww what a shame your young stepgrandson suffers with Crohns so bad and that it means he misses out on school. I hope they can sort some suitable treatment out for him. My daughter is still up and down, always very tired, so unable to look for work. She is getting regular infusions in hospital every few months and is on medication. So hope it will improve it.

I too prefer a cooked brekkie from the cafe, more enjoyable when you know you haven't had to stand around to cook it, and you don't have to clear up afterwards either.

It was warm here too, but has cooled down now and is pouring with rain tonight.

Yes I too realised they don't stock the shelves so often now, so you have to time supermarket visits, or some shelves can be empty. We went to Lidl this afternoon and in afternoons, they do tend to get short of some stuff they usually have in the mornings.

That is the problem, all meds have some sort of side effect, so you are doing right, monitoring your intake with the nurse and only taking what you need.

I went to physio class today and there was only 1 man and me. Turns out they decided not to do a class today and didn't email all of the group, so because me and this man had missed the last class, we didn't know, it wasn't being held today. I think they are having trouble getting staff to do the classes as many are on summer hols now. Will try and hope for the best on Monday.

So as we were near the shops, we did a food shop in Lidl instead.

Went out for brekkie in the little cafe this morning with my friend, son and MrM. Then MrM helped my disabled friend adjust her shed door, so she could wheel her disability scooter in there.

Tidy up time now, then help sort pets out, and hopefully a bit of tv.

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky  I had a rough night , but dragged myself out for a walk first ….however , I had to cut it short cos it started to rain ! Of course , 10 minutes after I got home the bliddy rain stopped !But it’s not been a totally wasted day cos I’ve done the duvet shuffle , done two loads of washing , and cleaned the kitchen and bathrooms .Lamb chops for lunch and now I’m slobbing our on the sofa watching tv .I hope everyone else is enjoying their Saturday .

Mollie , I hope your day is going well …and that your knees aren’t giving you too much gyp !I am looking forward to seeing what the new CDWM is like next week .By the way , I did watch all the Drawers Off series with Moonie , but we watched it at 5.30 ….we watched the first series too and really enjoy it …I wish I’d known you watched it to cos you could have joined us .Don’t forget it’s Bargain Brits at 8 tomorrow night ….we will be in the Crib as usual .Hicky , I’m really sorry to hear that your step grandson has Crohns ….it’s a bliddy awful disease ! Yes this weather is rather annoying, my washing has been in and out like a yoyo to the washing line.

And today it was changing from warm in the sun to freezing in the wind when I sat ouside. Very odd weather for June and certainly not global warming! I have yet again gone back to my teddy quilt cover.

I didn't realise you too were watching Drawers Off but me and MrM did watch it on plus 1, as the timing suited us better. We too watched the 1st series.

I enjoyed joining you for Bargain Brits, a nice light hearted series.

I really hope we enjoy our new 6pm show this coming week.

Knees not too bad tonight but I have been so uncomfy the last 2 evenings, think I walked round the shops too much. Had to rest today as I have physio class tomorrow.

Not a bad day really, did get to the café for brekkie, then went to get some shopping, McColl's is a very small shop, like a corner shop, just a few shelves really with 2 staff, i used my £3 voucher and got a couple of meals and some fruit and veg, waited 50 minutes for a taxi to go home, had 3 bags of shopping.

Had a Pizza tonight, got a stir-fry for tomorrow, threw all my cheese out as i had replaced it today, got 2 more cottage pies as they are rather nice, have frozen them, got more baking spuds as they can be used for anything.

The new Glucosamine & Chondroitin etc came today, so will try these, pretty expensive at £34 or so and it says 3 a day, but i am going to try 2 a day to start, the heart nurse couldn't understand why i was still retaining so much water, but if the ones i was taking were making me retain water then it was a catch 22, so will see over the next few weeks if anything changes, if it does then my meds will need sorting again.

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky  Very showery day here , so I got let off my walk .I had yet another rough night ….so I’ve had a very lazy day .All I’ve done is a load of washing , some dusting , and anti bac’d my M&S delivery . I had some nice bacon chops for lunch , put bin out for tomorrows collection , and that’s me done for the day .I hope everyone else is enjoying their Monday .

My son too likes those cottages pies, I get them for him as they are so easy to heat up for a quick meal for him when he is working long hours on set.

I too had pizza tonight. I make my own with flat breads and tomato paste from Costco (very tasty) and mascapone and cheddar on top. Had Jersey potatoes with baked beans with it too.

Think I might try the glucasimine tablets, see if they help my arthritis. Hope they help yours.

Hope your water retention calms down. It can be so awkward getting the meds right at times.

I agree the teddy quilt covers are so nice and soft and cosy. I only took mine off for those 2 really hot nights we had recently, but am glad its back on again. Don't like stuffy muggy nights.

Looks like our 6pm viewing is going to be interesting, and much better its an hour, as the half hour show time goes by so quickly.

Just read your post about Dinner Date, never mind, things have been a bit hectic here tonight, so I probably couldn't have given an hours time to watch it. Hope you and Ros enjoyed it.

I am exhausted and very achy tonight. Had physio class and he worked us very hard today, added to which I was busy at home washing etc before I left. So am looking forward to an early night, so I can lie comfy in bed and read my book.

Didn't watch Gogglebox last night, couldn't get comfy enough to sit and watch an hour show, exhausted and achy after physio and cooking dinner. When I did check, I hardly knew any of the celebs, so don't think I missed much. Roll on the return of the public Goggleboxers.

Hopefully the guy has been able to fix Hicky's computer today. He must have missed it.

Drizzly this morning, we went to our fave roadside cafe with my friend. I had cheese and potato pie, veg and gravy. Very nice.

Then it cleared up later, so I sat in the garden

Got my new Puter, very nice and very fast, this one is silent as the main drive abd mirror backup are solid state but it also has another backup drive running, all my vids pics and files have been transfered, super graphics and 16gb of memory, with the latest Intel tech i3 cpu, got a webcam as well, he was here at 09:30, and stayed 2 hours setting it up for me,  he gave me all the info with it and a copy of windows 10, also 11 on a memory stick.

Got more sites to set up, but a lot i use on my mobile, have bought another mobile as puter man said Samsung phones are rubbish so i have ordered a Motorola Smartphone moto g50 6.5".

Have got the chess with my lad back on the puter instead of on the mobile.

Had a busy day as it's F1 as well so didnt get to the garden,  hope to go for brekkie to the cafe tomorrow for a change, puter man said he goes there sometimes and will give me a ring in the week if he is going.

After watching CDWM all week, I felt the need to get my hands on a nice cheesecake, so made a lemon one yesterday. (with MrM's help). Luckily it keeps awhile in the fridge. I like a slice with some strawberries.

I don't have a lot of plans today, other than the usualy washing/tidying but hope to sit out in the garden.

Went to the cafe for brekkie, so nice, all cooked to perfection as usual, did a little shop in McColl's, just get some fruit and veg, milk and eggs.

The Puter man said when he is going to the cafe for brekkie he will give me a ring and if i can go he will pick me up, now that would be nice.

Yes, F1 this weekend, just put my washing in the machine, will dry in the dryer

I'm getting the mobile through Amazon, i use them for everything really, if i can, might get the Puter man to set it up as the sim and SD cards go into a card thingi in the side as the back doesnt come off on the new phones, you cant take the battery out either on the new ones.

And if i have any problems setting anything up i have a link so he can take over the computer from his works and sort the problem live, just to save him having to come to my place.

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky  Not a great night , but weather isn’t too bad so I did manage a walk first thing , cos I needed to go to the cashpoint . Aside from that I’ve done a load of washing , cleaned kitchen and bathroom , and antibac'd the M&S delivery . Yes, that was an awful crash, hard to believe he just had a scratch in the end, the new Halo midle support defo saved him, they also have some very good protective suits, they need them., that must have been so scary, flying through the air upside down at about 150mph wow, your life would fly in front of you and i assume would think, this is it.

I rang the Puter man as my new mobile came but no point in me trying to set it up on my own, you really 2 eyes, or even 1 good one would help, i cant take a chance in case i mess up, he is going to ring me to see when he can come.

My lad in Cornwall has Covid-19 again, he got it last summer as well, he is in bed at the mo feeling rotten.

Had Turbot and chips for tea, no idea why it is so expensive, it tasted pretty bland, 1 fish cost me £78, i could have made one for that, it had been cut into portions but thats the last time, it's  over £30 a kg.

Your not having much luck sleeping are you Baz, i swwm to slwwp ok, Sunday i woke a couple of times, but my last doze took me to 10:45, wow that gave me a shock as i was going to get ready to go for brekkie at the cafe.

I really enjoyed Brits in the sun. The British holiday resorts are so unique and quirky.

Oh dear, what a shame your son has covid again. Hope it doesn't last long. I have heard of a lot of people with it at the moment. My son went to a party on Sunday and both the hosts and their child have tested positive now. Wish covid would clear off for good now!

Busy day today, I decided to go to Cardiff as I hadn't been for so long and needed to stock up with bits and pieces from Primark. Had to keep stopping to rest my knee and couldn't concentrate with an uncomfy knee, so bought 2 wrong T shirts. But I did restock my make up. Couldn't find any leggings though. Like most stores, they only had small or extra small left and that is not me unfortunately. Then went to Costco to get a few things and bought jacket potato lunch.

Then tonight son needed to go to shops for new shoes and T shirts before work tomorrow, so I went too, and managed to get my leggings from good old M and S. They had all sizes there, but were more expensive. Never mind, I am sure the quality will be good.

Done in now, took some ibuprofen for knees. But i was glad I managed with such a busy day today.

Hope all is well, a nice day here, gardener popped in and pruned the summer prune on the cherry and plum trees as the growth was crazy and needed a foot taking off so the tree can produce fruit for next year if possible, the beetroot seems to be growing ok this year, did some a couple of years ago and got nothing, so strange, might get some sweetcorn, the apple trees are doing well, they are only small trees so can pick the fruit from the floor.

No. #3 son is taking me for brekkie Friday, Puter man should be here to help me sort the new Mobile out.

Had some Sirloin steak for tea with chips, so easy to do, will have fish again tomorrow, will swap each day, want to use up all the steak portions i have so i can restock with Fillet, why bother with other steaks, cant stand non edible parts that run through the meat like sinues etc, cant stand it and with my eyes i cant see them so cant take them out.

Looks like summer may arrive next week .I’ve not really done a lot today , I’ve been distracted watching the political farce on the tv .So all I’ve done is a load of washing , and cleaned the kitchen . I had some pork chops for lunch , and that’s me done for the day .I hope everyone else is having a decent Wednesday , whatever you are up to .

Mollie , yes , Bake Off was good last night .No problem about CDWM …family has to come first .Yes, I think that guy must have been on the spectrum …he was very strange .Anyway , we’ve got George to look forward to tonight .Hicky , I’ve got to have two trees taken down cos they’ve got too big for the back garden , and ,as they are near the fence line , I’m worried they might do some damage in the autumn storms . So I spoke to the tree surgeon yesterday and he’s coming in the next couple of weeks …do one less worry next winter .

Had a busy day really, puter man was here at 09:30 to start setting up new Mobile, it was all done before 11am so we went to the Townfield cafe for a tea and eggs on toast, its only 50 yds from the surgery where i had an appointment at 11:30, gave the blood sample then saw the nurse, she explained what to do with my Eczema and the creams, puter man waited and brought me home.

Had a noodle soup, then made a tinned salmon and cucumber butty, then did cheese on toast, using my loaf, fantastic anyway, very pleased, got about 20 rounds off the loaf.

Supposed to be going out for brekkie with one of my lads tomorrow so that will be nice.

I feel sorry for my BBQ as i havent used it, cant bring myself to use it being on my own for some reason

Hope Millie & Family are ok, No. #5 son with Covid is struggling on, recovering slowly, its not as bad as the last time he had it last year though, he's still playing chess with me anyway, so all is good.

Stay safe and sleep well, i have stopped all the health supplements to see how things are, i seem to feel better and have less aches and pains, strange.

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky  Sunny day here , but luckily not as hot as it is down south .I went for a walk , changed sheets, anti bac’d the shopping delivery ,  and done a load of washing …..now the tree surgeons are here taking down two trees in my back garden….with a very noisy chipper . So it’s all go here in chez Baz today .I hope everyone else is having a quieter day than I am , Oh and Cyril the squirrel spent ages in the garden this morning , at one point I even caught him having a siesta on top of the trellis work !

Mollie , we’ve spoken , but I hope you got some sleep last night , and are ready for the last of this weeks CDwm at 6 .Hicky , boy you had a busy day yesterday .Glad the computer is all sorted , and your puter man sounds really kind .sorry your son has covid , there seems loads of it about at the moment ….but glad he’s not feeling too bad . I can totally understand how you feel about the barbecue ….with me it’s the dining room table …I have only sat at it a couple of times in the 4 years since my husband died …it just doesn’t seem right somehow …silly I know , but hey ho .

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky  It’s too bliddy hot I did go for a walk first thing this morning cos I had to go to the cashpoint , but it was already hot , so I got back as soon as I could ! I’ve just been out to empty the bin and it’s scorching ….so  I don’t intend going out tomorrow cos apparently it’s going to be even hotter ! Aside from that , I’ve done a load of washing , watered the plants , and not much else !I hope everyone else is managing to stay cool.

The 2 evenings, we have headed to the seafront to enjoy the breeze and ice cream as it is so unbearable hot in our garden and house. Hope this doesn't drag on too long, its just exhausting.

Its seems to be getting just hotter and hotter here now, hard to keep the pets cool, as well as ourselves!

We have driven to the seafront the last 2 evenings for ice creams as there is a bit of a breeze there.

Didn't fancy putting the cooker on in the hot kitchen tonight, so treated us to Pizza Hut take away. Very enjoyable it was.

At least in this weather my washing dries very quickly.

Am watching Brits in the Sun tonight, I love that.

Time to get a nice cool tonic water from out of the fridge. I like them and the quinine helps stop me getting leg cramps at night in the hot weather.

Nice today, the heat doesnt bother me really, after living in Singapore for 18 months heat isnt a problem, i dont even sweat now, had a swing in the sun this afternoon for a short time as didnt want to burn, had no cream on.

My lad took me for brekkie Friday, i went to the cafe by taxi today then got stores from the little corner shop.

The new Mobile is great, i can use it now to pay for goods etc, google pay is great, saves me taking my wallet out of my pocket.

Since i stopped all the suppliment tablets and capsules i havent noticed more aches and pains, i dont have any which i'm pleased about.

My lad that had Covid says he has no symptons now and was out on the sea front today.

The cleaners are due tomorrow, that will be fun, they go through like a dose of salts.

I always tape Brits in the Sun, love it but can seldom watch programs when shown.

Afternoon Meanies  Cooler here today , but overcast and airless ….very wearing .I had a dreadful night , but I did manage a 3k walk first thing ….and not only did my Cyril hang around my garden for a couple of hours this morning …stuffing his face ….but I also so one on my travels as well .Aside from that , I’ve cleaned the kitchen and bathroom , done a load of washing , and watered all the plants ….so not a totally wasted day chez Baz ! I have also ordered an oscillating tower fan which will be delivered tomorrow , and which I hope might keep things a little cooler at the weekend ! I hope everyone else is having a good Tuesday , whatever you are up to.

Mollie , I hope it’s a bit cooler down there today. I have to admit I was worried that Cyril might not like the fact that the trees had gone ….but it doesn’t seem to have put him off ….and his feeder (and the bird feeders ) are in a part of the garden that I’ve left wild , so …… I enjoyed last nights CDWM …it was nice to have three nice sets of contestants .Don’t forget it’s Bake Off tonight .Hicky , it must be nice not to feel the heat . I used to be ok as well , but over the last decade it’s really started to get to me . Glad the new phone is working out ok ….and I hope the cleaners knocked you into shape today .

25.5c in my office, it's not even that hot outside here, but this Bungalow is so well insulated it holds any heat.

The cleaners didnt come as they were held up in Liverpool, probably on a cleaning office job and couldnt get away,

Had a vid call from my lad in Cornwall, he tried my whatsapp vid call from my computer webcam, with built in mic, worked a treat, my lad in Costa Rica wants to try it as well, he is on the beach just now, sending pics of poison frogs and a Sloth walking through the trees.

New mobile has updated to Android 12, it's a lovely phone, very pleased.

Made a nice brekkie of sausage, egg, black pud, tomato, so nice, for tea just did a Korean noodle soup with Lime Pickle, wow, so tasty.

I slept a bit better last night , but was up early cos I was expecting the window cleaner , so I had to unlock the back gate ….and he’s usually here first thing ….but as it turns out he’s only just arrived .I was also expecting two deliveries , so although it’s cooler today I couldn’t go for my walk  …but I have hoovered, and done a load of washing , so not a totally wasted day . I had some nice M&S bacon chops for lunch , and that’s me done for the day .

Mollie , I hope you’re having a good Thursday . George was fun last night ….and let’s hope the nice contestants win on CDWM today !By the way , don’t forget it’s Hotel Inspector at 9 tonight .Hicky , I am glad you are liking your new phone …and that your sons are able to talk to you via your WhatsApp webcam .I have to admit that I’m not looking forward to the heatwave at the weekend …it’s due to get to about 35 here by Tuesday .But I’ve bought two fans …one tower type , one desktop , so they will hopefully keep me cool at night .

Glad you slept a bit better, not easy to sleep in this heat, it's 24.1c in my office/bedroom, forecast here for Tuesday is 34c which is interesting, the night time being 18c.

Had a fire service around today, i asked them to check my fire and heat alarms, they gave me a CO detector for the boiler cupboard, it lasts 10 years on the non changeable battery.

Had a look around the garden, the outside vine has gone crazy, it's growing like jacks beanstalk, it's closing my walkways now, so vigorus.

The apples are doing well, quite a lot of Bramleys, took dozens off to keep them down to 1 or 2 on a branch, the Scrumptious and Red Falstaff are doing ok as well, the raspberry canes i cut down in the autumn have regrown, new shoots come up from the roots, the place is covered in growth, i think the Corn on the cob will be more of a success than the other year when i had no cobs off them but i can feel cobs growing now.

Have got some peas ready as well so may have to pick some of them.

It has been gorgeous here the last few days and sunny but with a nice fresh breeze.

So went and sat on seafront with son, MrM and friend late this afternoon and had my fave lime stripey ice cream.

Called in chippie on way home for halloumi with sweet chilli dip. (I give son the dip as too sweet for me).

Been busy helping son get his cv off to Uni who are trying to help place him in work.

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky  It’s already quite warm here ..but I managed to get a long walk in first thing , and that will be my last one until Wednesday ! I’ve spent the day catching up on jobs …to minimise what I have to do over the next couple of days ….so  duvet shuffle was done by 8.30 , I’ve done two loads of washing , cleaned kitchen and bathroom , watered plants , and that’s me finished for the day ! One of the dog walkers I see on my walks said she was stocking up on food for the next three days , then closing to curtains and sitting tight until Wednesday ! I will be doing the same . I hope everyone else is having a good Saturday , and keeping cool .

Mollie, hopefully it’s not going to be as hot where you are , fingers crossed.It’s due to be 35 degrees here.Yes, there have been a lot of game players this week , but at least we had a couple of good results .Gogglebox was fun last night , eh …especially that *special* room.Hicky , I’m sorry your cleaners couldn’t make it , but I’m sure one week won’t hurt too much .Glad the fire brigade came and checked your gas appliances ….I have gas central heating , but no gas fire …and the boiler is in the garage …but they are coming to do my annual gas service on Wednesday .

Quite nice today, it says 39c tomorrow and 36c Monday, it doesnt bother me as i dont really feel it anyway, its 24,2 where i am sitting now but i have air vents and a long top window part open so have air flow all day and night.

Took a walk down to a local post office, not sure how far it is but i rest a couple of times on the way, took a cheque in that i got, it wouldnt work in the Natwest app, thats 3 mobiles i've tried, it worked in non of them.

On the way backm i stopped to chat to a feller a few doors away, it seems he has lost him wofe also, and he has just had a replacement hip, he also has been to australia, the USA, Singapore, Malaya, amazing who you meet while taking a walk, love it, and he only lives 3 doors away.

I will be going to the cafe tomorrow, then i'll call in the McColl's shop to see what they have.

Had a wander around the garden, gave the appple trees more water as they have a lot of fruit to feed.

I was cofused at first with these 2 similar programs, i record them then realised they are not the same, The Bargain loving Brits have two endings, one says in the Sun and the other says, by the Sea.

Warm today, 25.7c in my room, it was 40c in the summerhouse, gave the apple trees more water, also the greenhouse veg,

Went to the cafe for brekkie, so good, did a bit of shopping in the corner shop bt the cafe then got a taxi home.

Expecting the cleaners and the heart nurse tomorrow, hope they dont all come together.

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky  It’s 34 degrees here at the moment , and due to rise to 37 degrees in the next couple of hours …not due to drop below 23 overnight …and worse to come tomorrow ….role on bliddy Wednesday ! I hope everyone else is managing to stay cool! Needless to say I had a rubbish night , and have done naff all today !I have got the bins ready to go out later , watered the plants , and filled up the bird bath . Cyril spent several hours in the garden first thing . I’m now sitting here with the curtains pulled , and  a cold hot  water bottle trying to keep cool !
