Son made a mistake on the crypto estimate, there was another devisor in the Algorithm, so it wasn't 500k he missed, only probably 25k.

Mrs H didnt have the Chemo, delayed for a week for certain reasons, she is very disappointed.

Yes, i am fanying more and more items of food, will get son to get the right sausages, he can dump the thin ones, funn, as i thought the ones be bought were thin.

The children are in school 3 morning each next week, they have had a couple of trial runs and love it, girl has been in school since she was 6 months old.

Son was up with the crypto this morning, so complex, millions of people, think he only made a few thousnads.

Hope you are both managing to sleep in this heat.

Glad its getting cooler, so hard to sleep.

My Lads have been so good to us, so good to have them around.

No. #1 Son stays private, last saw him when his Mother died, he doesn't keep in touch, living in Liverpool as far as i know.

No. #2 Son only lives an hour away, and pops in on the weekends with goodies.

No. #3 Son only lives a couple of miles away, but his work keeps him very busy.

No. #4 Son is the one nearby that came from Oz, very nice and a great help.

No. #5 Son came down from Cornwall again, he and his mrs are staying in her dads house while he takes a break for the weekend, he turned up at 10am to surprise me, had a great time in the garden, he did a few jobs for me, he is the one who had all the knee surgery, but he can walk again now thank heavens, he is the one with the most letters after his name,

After his name, he could put -  B.Eng.(Hons) IEng MCIBSE MIET

It's been great having 2 sons here today, get so much done that i can't manage any more, here tomorrow as well.

Son #5 wants to take me out tomorrow to a few places he remembers from his childhood days, might even get a Parkgate Battered Cod from the seafront, the sea has now retreated about 5 miles, such a shame what silting up does.

They are so good to me. try to buy morsels of food as i fancy it, weaning me back to eating normal meals, we have the corn on the cob, a taste the difference cottage pie, they are so tasty, and i never tire of Strawberry Tarts.

What a shame MrsH's chemo has been postponed for a week. I wonder why they couldn't fit it in?

I am so glad to read the details of your boys, as I was getting confused who was who and where they were.

What a nice surprise that No5 turned up from Cornwall.

It is good they are tempting you to eat again. That will be nice to go out with your No5 to visit childhood places. HOpe you mke it for fish and chips.

What a lovely video it was of your little grandaughter enjoying her fish.   She is so sweet. How nice they are able to go to school and are enjoying it already.

I guess missing out on 25k for your son is a lot better than missing out on 500k. All sounds very complicated to me though.

I too was much relieved to see the back of the hot weather, I was not looking forward to another night in the chair downstairs. But with the windows open last night, I was ok in my own bed upstairs last night, at last.

It was a bit wet this morning but then not a bad day, I went on the swinghchair and did my puzzle book. Had sweet potato chips and salad for tea, with camabery rissoles. Very nice.

Nothing to watch on tv, but I was outsdie until quite late.

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky  Cooler here today , so I had a nice walk this morning . I slept better last night ….in fact I nodded off while reading a book on my phone , and , when I woke up a couple of hours later,  my phone was exactly where I left it , so I can’t have moved at all . So , I’ve been quite busy today , changed sheets , washed and ironed , cleaned kitchen , dusted , watered the pots , hosed down the patio , and fed the birds .My little robin is getting a regular visitor , and is getting quite tame . I hope everyone else is having a nice Sunday .

Mollie , I too am glad to see the back of the heatwave ….although we’ve still not had any rain …the garden really needs it ….but I think we are due some midweek . I’ve finally watched the first episode of  Professor  T , I wasn’t sure about it at first , but I think it’s got legs , so I’ll record the second episode . What did you think of it? How is your daughter doing ? By the way , do you ever watch Escape to the Chateau ? If so, we will be watching an old one on C4 plus 1 tonight , if you fancy joining us .

Hicky , I didn’t realise you had 5 sons .I’m glad you are getting plenty of support …..but I’m sorry Mrs H chemo has been postponed . However , I’m glad that your appetite is coming back . My husband found the worst part of his chemo was that it affected his appetite and his taste buds ….he said everything tasted like cardboard .

I agree the 1st episode of Professor T was not brilliant, but the lead is such a good actor, I think he will develop the sotryline. So I will watch again tonight.

Daughter not too bad today, ate ok and sat in the garden for awhile. Her MRI appointment has come through for the beginning of August, so lets hope that goes ok.

Am just watching Country House, a good show, but I know I am behind. When was it on originally?

Lovely day here today, so spent most of it outside. Read my book , did  a few puzzles and got quite a few loads of washing dried.

Lost track of the posts, just put a new keyboard on the computer, the other one was growing veg i think.

Yes, #3 has 2 stepchildren, not sure haw many  grandchildren we have, a few.

No.#5 son took me out for lunch, had my fave battered cod from Parkgate.

Just a bit of cottage pie and some Eccles Cake with ice cream.

Glad the days are cooling, 25.8c by my computer.

Will have to sleep, cant stay awake any longer.

I've been a lucky boy today, g-children in childcare school, Mrs H went for a hair appointment with No.#4 Son.

So, No.#4 Son's lovely Mrs offered to do my finger nails, then my toe nails, with calf and foot massage, i'm in heaven, what a lucky break.
Mind you, i do have all the correct tools needed to do the job, as you would expect.

A lovely day here today, so sat out in the garden most of the day, read my book, did my suduko and got all my washing dried.

As you say, thank goodness that awful hot weather has moved away. I hated it, it was so tiring.

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky  No rain yet , although it’s gone quite dark….so fingers crossed . I had an indifferent night , so haven’t done a lot today …just cleaned kitchen ,hoovered and dusted downstairs , and fed the birds . My gardener came and mowed lawns and tidied up the hedges ….the bin is now overflowing , but at least it’s all done . Mind you , I jumped back from the door quick sharp when he told me he’d had Covid I hope you are all having a good day , whatever you are doing .

Mollie , we’ve spoken ….but I hope your day is going well ….the rain has finally arrived up here , thank goodness , cos the garden really needed it . DIL of No.#4 Son has the same qualification as Son, very clever, she was a project engineer for a big company in Oz, it was them that said she could have another 12 months paid maternity leave.

She just taught herself to do the nails etc.

No.#4 Son took Mrs H to Parkgate for fish and chips.

I will be sharing Poppadoms with chutney, chicken tikka starter, chicken tikka masala, chicken tikka biriani, sharing of course, he will go and collect from a local Indian place.

Rang the scrap man, he came and took the old BBQ and all the heavy steel mesh i prepared to stop the squirrels, but it seems with pruning the vine so much it put all the energy into regrowing and ignored the grapes, oh dear, my bad.

Glad MrsH got taken out for fish and chips too. It must be so hard for her feeling so poorly and losing her independance she had in her little job. So I bet she appreciated being taken out for lunch by the sea.

What a shame the grape vine didn't do what you intended. MrM is only growing tomatoes this year, he went for colourful plants instead of potatoes this year.

I see you have been busy with your house jobs and your garden will look nice now your gardener sorted it out. When did he have covid? Wonder if he had had the vaccines, as I know some are catching it straight after the vaccines. I have heard the virus is weakening now, but just wish it would disappear.

A lovely and quite hot day today, so sat outside and washed and dried the sheets.

Had advocado and goats cheese with toast for tea, very nice too.

Am expecting Sainsburys between 8 and 9pm, will have to ask MrM to assist after I check it, as Bake Off is on then. silly me booking it at that time!

With No.#4 son and his mrs being so clever, they demanded a high wage, and with the eccess they bough property etc and let it, the lettting price was buying it, think they have 5 now.

One was a Penthouse they had built but never moved in as the work moved around.

It has been quite windy and cool here today, but did manage a quick sit on my chair when the sun came out.

MrM went to Costco with son and they got me a jacket potato with cheese, and I had that for tea with some of their broccoli salad. I am not keen on broccoli and the rabbit gets that and I eat the rest of the salad and sweet onion sauce.

Gas man came to do the annual insepction on Monday, he said he needed to adjust the pressure. However after he went, we realised the heating was coming on, every time someone used the hot water!   And it was sweltering. I was not happy as had to switch the hot water off to stop the heating coming on. So cold showers only.  I rang LL and he got anothe guy back today. Turns out the original  guy that came had made a mistake and set a swtich wrong on the emersion tank wrong. All ok again now though.

Think I will watch Fake or Fortune tonight.

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky . How are you all today ? It’s quite chilly here ….but I slept quite well last night , and had to post a birthday card today , so I went out for my walk. Apart from that I’ve not done a lot …just a small load of washing , cleaned kitchen and managed to cram a bit more pruning in the garden bin . However , I’ve done a fair bit of *paperwork*. I paid my credit card bill, and ordered some birthday flowers. I also got a quote  ( and arranged) to have a large tree in my front garden taken down. It has got far too big , and I can’t afford to keep having it pruned every year . It’s not something my gardener deals with ,  so I’ve got a reputable tree surgeon coming next week , and they are going to fell it , chip the stump , take everything away , and returf the lawn . Fingers crossed

Mollie, quick reminder …it’s Hampton Court and Hotel inspector tonight .Good grief at the gas man setting the switch wrong .Glad it is sorted though .I’m guessing my annual service will be due soon too . Looks like you are in for some rough weather tomorrow …so batten down the hatches !Hicky , how are you feeling today ? Any news on Mrs H rescheduled chemo ? Your number 4 son sounds very clever . How is the son with the leg problem doing ? I see they are cancelling XFactor …not that I watch it .

HOpe your tree removal goes well, Its a shame they have to be taken down when they get too big to cope with, but my aunt has a similiar problem now she is elderly and it makes her front room very dark.

I enjoyed our viewing last night and look forward to tonights too.

More workmen in today to patch the leak marks on kitchen ceiling. I am so fed up of workmen , not that is 4 days this week.

mrM had to dash out to get son a sausage omlette bagette for brekkie and me a vanilla latte as we couldn't use the kitchen at breakfast time.

Showery and a bit windy today, but managed to sit in the garden awhile. We didn't get any of that rough weather they promised so that was good. My swingchair that disintegrated to a rocking chair finally gave up the ghost to become just a chair. Oh well old or not, itsstill comfy,so can't complain, I have and will continue to have good use of it.

Went to shops to get a new suduko book and a bit of food shopping in sainsburys, Got some delcious strawberries.

Tv time now.

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky   Not a great night again , but I braved the drizzle this morning , and managed a 3k walk . The tree surgeon came , and I’m an now treeless in the front garden . I have to say , they were very good …and cleared away all the mess ….they are coming back in the week to chip the stump and relay the small patch of lawn . Aside from that , I’ve done some washing , cleaned the kitchen , and , seeing as the sun is poking through , I am considering going out and doing some weeding ….I hope you are all having a nice Saturday , whatever you are up to .

Me and MrM went 1st thing to Swansea as it was the eonly place we could find a nice padded sunlounger that daughter wanted. She thought it would be a change to lie in garden instead of in bed. She still can't sit upright for long without feeling discofmort. So she did get to use it this afternoon.

Heard from Hicky. MrsH had chemo and was resting, he is getting his apptetite back again but gets very tired, so goes to bed early, His family are poving to be a great help to them.

Watching Professor T now, enjoy this show.

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky . I hope everyone is having a good Monday . A sad day for me , so I went on a long walk this morning (over 4K) to try an blow away some cobwebs . It was nice walking weather ….broken sun and nice warm, but not hot , temperature . I had a very strange dream last night ….I dreamt I had forgotten to put my bins out ….I woke up at 2.30am in a total panic ,  and was so convinced that I even altered my alarm so I could get up early! Luckily, when I came too properly I realised that they aren’t due to go out until this evening !Needless to say , I cancelled the early alarm call!  Aside from that , I’ve done the duvet shuffle , fed birds , cleaned kitchen , and had a nice piece of M&S poached salmon for lunch .

Hicky , I am not surprised you feel tired , you and Mrs H have taken a real battering over the last few weeks .But I’m glad your family are helping you .
Mollie , did you enjoy Professor T yesterday ? I’ve not watched this weeks yet …but I enjoyed the first two episodes .Glad your daughter is managing to get out in the garden etc ….when does she see the consultant ?

I did enjoy Professor T, he is a great actor and plays this part well, as does the actress who plays his mum (can't remember her name now).

Daughter still waiting on an appointment with the consultant but has the MRI on Friday. She had a lie down on her sunlounger for awhile again today, until the drizzle came this afternoon.

Went to B and M this morning to buy a few kiddie things for my friend's youngster who has a small op on Wednesday. Daughter suggested getting him a backpack and putting a few things in to occupy him.

Yes not much on tv lately, but I guess during main part of summer, there is never much on. I have decided on Long Lost Family.

Had some tests at docs yesterday, not heard back from Urine, gave bloods, may hear about those results, breathing ok, no change needed, BP ok, normal, will have to see what shows up.

Mrs H is ok, needs lots of rest, eating better than me.

Not been watching tv, still only seen day 1 of L.I but its all recorded.

No idea while all i want to do is sleep, no appetite to eat, lost 8kg since was in hospital.
Hoping the bloods might give a clue when they come back

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky . Fairly decent night for me . I went for a walk this morning , cos I have to stay in tomorrow as I am expecting two deliveries . It’s a nice day here weather wise ….sunny and warm, but not that stifling heat we had a week ago . …so I went out and pruned some of my roses, watered the pots ,  and hosed down the patio  . Aside from that I’ve not done a lot …..just some washing and ironing , and cleaned the kitchen . I hope you are all having a good day , whatever you are up to .

Hicky , I hope the blood results come soon , but given all you’ve been through in the last few weeks ….both physically and emotionally ….it’s not really surprising that you feel tired and have  lost a little weight . Glad Mrs H is managing to eat well . Mollie , I hope your daughter gets her consultant appointment soon ….and that the MRI goes well…so that she can start some proper treatment.   We are watching Walking with the Tudors at 9 o’clock tonight …if you fancy joining us .

Pleased to hear you had a better night and that you got your walk and some gardening done during what is decent weather. It is here too, just perfect now that awful heat went and the winds we got after. Let's hope it lasts.

Today I was the hairdresser again and cut son's hair as it has been awhile since I did it last. I started doing it during lockdown and he is quite happy with it, as he can't be bothered going to hairdressers now.

I met a friend and her young son as he is having an op on is tooth/mouth tomorrow, as a tooth has grown through the roof of his mouth, so me and daughter bought him a Minecraft bag and lunchbox/keyring set and filled it with little gifts and things to occupy him at the hospital. Then went to Sainsburys.

Tired legs now, so its tv time.

I am watching GP's behind Closed Doors now. Did you know there is a new series Baz?

I would have joined you for the Tudors but me and MrM watch A and E at 9pm, but enjoy the show and thanks for the invite.   Hope to join you for another show soon.

Just a quickie, got the eye clinic tomorrow afternoon, if all ok going to get the tests done for new glasses, might help a bit.

Had some Singapore noodles for tea with hot curry sauce, yummy, found 1 food i can eat.

Getting some pain from the false hip are when i sleep on my right side so going to try some  Paracetamol to see if that helps

Hope you are sleeping ok and getting lots of good tv, i havent turned on the tv except for the F1 race, just cant sit and watch it somwhow, just need to sleep all the time.

My mouse or usb socket packed up this morning, i probably have a spare somewhere but took the wireless one from the Lappy for now, have ordered another, this time wireless.

Went for the eye clinic tests/pictures, going to get some new glasses as the ones i have are hopeless.

Have to have another bloods done, the doctor rang, oh dear.

Bought 2 new Laser temperature guns for humans, you can set to baby with alerts, i needed one for myself anyway, now children have their own.

The window shutters should be fitted Friday, cant wait to see them up, not sure what i will have to do to keep the camera working after they are fitted.

Lad & Fam went to Sainsburys to gey something for tea, and see if any Raspberry Tarts left.

Having the leftover Singapore noodles and curry sauce from last night, why not.

Only thing with the /Singapore noodles is all the meats etc in with it, and no being able to see what it is doesn't help so i have to try and take it out, going to see if they can make me a meal with no meats etc in it, can only ask.

I still take the capsules i always take, 2 in the morning, will take more paracetamol as have boxes from outside the uk where you buy them in the 100's.

I havent got an appointment at opticians yet, my lad going to try and get me one.

Just having some scone with butter jam and clotted cream, yummy, before i go to sleep.

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky The rain arrived a little while ago ….not much so far , but, according to the forecast , there is  more to come over the next couple of days . So with that in mind , I did over 4K this morning ….although I seem to be having trouble with my ankle ….not the one I broke , the other one . I didn’t have a good night , but I find my walks kick me into gear , so I’ve hoovered , dusted, washed , and ironed  and I LOVE my new cordless iron . I’ve spent the last hour or so watching the Olympics .I hope you are all having a good day too.

Sorry to hear about your ankle, it must be getting too much of the weight distribution i suppose as you automatically take it easy on the bad one.

Got to vive bloods again tomorrow, and have a doc ringing Tuesday about the last blood test, oh dear.

The shutter people rang, they can't fit them Saturday as they are still in the container.

It should be cottage pie tonight, well a bit anyway.

I haven't had a sleep today, which is an improvement, think it was the same yesterday.

I have heard a lot of people having delays with household items, my aunts 3 piece was delayed for weeks and weeks. Hope you don't have to wait too long for the shutters.

Hope the doc can come up with some help when he rings with your blood tests.

Awhile ago, my son had to wait for a call from a doc about his when he was having a bad stomach and all he said was his iron was a bit raised, and they didn't think it needed any treatment.

Did your son manage to get the eye appointment. Let's hope some new glasses help improve your eyesight.

Daughter had an MRI, so is shattered now. She was there for hours because they had to get her to drink this horrid stuff over an hour, then someone came down from a ward for an MRI , so she had to wait awhile. She has eaten nothing all day as she feels nauseous, but hopefully will feel better after a good rest the rest of the night.

Tv time, not watching Gogglebox tonight Baz as its a repeat, will watch a show about Motorhoming around UK.

Hope you both been sleeping ok, this cooler weather sure helps.

Had another bloods test today, have an appointment to see the diabetics nurse, oh dear, been living on sweet sugary stuff, has to stop.

My cottage pie was lovely, had a lot of it.

Haven't got an appointment for the opticians yet, have the website and phone number, but it has to fit in with other stuff.

My Ozzie family love it here, food so much better, you get what you expect, unlike Oz, the children love it, they have 2 houses to play, sleep in, they love the day school, they just do morning at the mo.

My new wireless mouse came, so i can sort that tomorrow.

Had some fish from New Brighton, ate some, not as good when travelled.

Won again at chess, my lad won a few games, it was strange like he had someone with him, some of his moves were not like him.

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky  Wet and miserable here ….bit like my mood ! Consequently , I haven’t done much today ….just changed sheets , washed and ironed ….and watched some of the last of the Olympics .I hope your day is going better than mine is .

Mollie , I hope your daughter has recovered from yesterday , and is having a better day. There is no more Gogglebox …..but Celeb Masterchef starts next week ….Monday , Tuesday and Friday on bbc1 at 9 o’clock ….if you fancy joining us for that .Hicky, glad you enjoyed the cottage pie I like New Brighton ….went there for a day trip 4/5 years agoI hope the blood tests turn out ok .

sorry the bad weather matched your mood yesterday. But hope you slept ok last night and feel a bit better today. Looks like there is not much of an improvement weather wise though. Its dark, wet and windy here so far this morning.

Daughter a bit better yesterday, but still felt nauseous, so stayed in bed all day, but did eat a little. Now we just have to wait to hear for appointment from her consultatns to discuss her test results and subsequent medication.

I couldn't find anything to watch last night, so continued watching Neflix's The Crown. Very well made.

I probably won't watch Masterchef as it is on quite a few evenings a week for me to watch without interruptions. But I am looking forward to Hotel Inspector this week. Did you see the ad, in that Alex is going to do a hotel herself? So look forward to joining you all for that.

glad you enjoyed your cottage pie, that will be good for you and nice to hear you have some appetite again. . Shame the fish wasn't so good, but as you say, its not so good when travelled. It is always best eaten freshly fried from the chippe.

What day is your diabetic nurse appointment? I have seen those on GP;s behind closed doors and all they seem to do is tell people to lose weight and basically starve themselves! So surely they can't say that to you now you have lost so much weight, just as you are getting your appetite back? So hope your appointment goes well.

That is great news your Ozzie family have settled in so well already. I am sure they are happy to be back with you and MrsH again without the worry of you both having to cope on your own whilst they were so far away. And as you say, the food is so much better here than over there.  I can recall the lack of choice and inferiour food types when we lived in Oz. Even their chocs and biccies were awful compared to ours, and the fruit and veg too. How lovely the kiddies are enjoying their mornings at playschool too.

Well done, looks like you haven't lost your chess skills, despite your recent illness . Wonder what was distracting your son and his moves this time though?

Dull, drizzly and windy, so won't do much today. Am watching some more of The Crown now. Will go in the garden if it dries up later.

Going to watch Professor T tonight, have been enjoying that series.

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky  A better day weather wise ….sunshine and showers ….and I slept better too ….so , as it looks like it will be walking weather tomorrow,  I’ve made up for my lazy day yesterday .I have hoovered , dusted , cleaned , washed , ironed . I even managed to get out in the garden , in between showers,  and sow some seeds and do a bit of pruning . I hope you are all having an equally good Sunday .

Mollie , I’m glad you’re daughter is a bit better , and I hope she gets a consultant appointment soon .Awwww , we will miss you watching Masterchef ….it’s the celebrity version  ….and I actually know some of them for a change . It’s only on 3 nights a week …Monday , Tuesday and half an hour on Friday (all at 9 o’clock)….but yes, we will definitely see you for Alex on Thursday .)

Hicky, yes, I saw that about SCD , and they are filming I’m a Celeb in Wales again this year too . It’s nice to feel like their is some normality in this mad world  , isn’t it.  I hope you and Mrs H are having a reasonable weekend .

Just a quickie, glad you slept better Baz, it will be better whn the weather picks up.

Bought an Amazon Fire HD 10" tablet for G/Daughter, wow, she is going to have some fun with this, sometimes she borrows here dads, he's not keen though as she is so rough.

Got a skip in the drive for when they sort the bathroom door, got loads of stuff to put in.

Had shredded wheat and a few cornflakes for brekkie, not had much else, have got hot n sour soup and hot chicken wings on order, my lad will pick them up whn he returns from his tea, i'll send you a pic of his tea, think they are in the Hungry Horse.

Got Xray tomorrow, chat with doc Tuesday, Diabetics nurse Thursday.

thats good you slept better and had better weather too.

Glad to see they are filming I'm a Celeb in Wales again, I thought it worked well last year, being in the castle, and at least it keeps money coming in locally too. I did read that Denise Van Elton was refusing to do it unless it was in Oz! Some people just fancy the 5 star free hotel holiday the family in the sun as part of the deal.

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky  I slept reasonably well ….and it’s not rained today , so I went for a 4K walk before breakfast. The  gardener came and mowed the lawns …and I’ve done some more pruning in the garden… so garden refuse bin is now choc a block Aside from that , I’ve washed , ironed , cleaned kitchen , and taken in several parcels …including some compost .. I hope you are all having an equally productive Tuesday .

Hicky, I hope the X-ray , and chat with doctor has gone well. I bet your granddaughter is chuffed to bits with her new tablet . Mollie , hope you enjoyed the MC thread last night …looks like being a good series. I thought the castle worked well last year too …..I like to see them suffer a bit .How is your daughter today?

Yes I did enjoy the thread last night thank you for telling me about it.   I only missed a litte with one interruption to take daughter a drink. Will try and make it again tonight.

At last we had a bit of sunshine, and only a little rain and cloud, so it was lovely sitting in the garden with my book and puzzles.   All my washing dried really well.

The doc didnt ring, waited 6 hours, i'm there tomorrow to see the Diabetes nurse, i assume about my bloods, i also have an appointment on the 16th for a doc to ring to discuss bloods.

Han a love pack of sushi, my lad was in Liverpool 1 and there's a Sushi place, yummy.

I phoned a health centre quite close to me and asked a few questions, was through in a minute, asked about doc to patient meeting, she said you can meet if the doc requests it, i like that, just have to fill a form in as usual, not decided yet but getting more and more uncomfy where i am.
