hope you are pleased with your rug when it comes. What colour is it?
What a shame about your slippers? Is your bad ankle bigger than the other one? I know the one I fell on a few years ago (that tirggered the arthritis in it) now always seems to be bigger and puffier than the other one, so it is so difficult shoe/slipper wise for me. Hope you find another pair that suits you better.
Shame your grandkids are going through the same study problems because of covid. Its very hard on them. Can't see son going in at all until at least after Easter, and it will be a rush by then to get all the work in.
How nice you managed to get out for a walk. I rarely see people here wearing masks outdoors, but everyone always steps aside if we walk past anyone, so that's good.
It was good to see the GP show back again. Yes great result for the pottery, let's hope we get the result we want for DOI next week.

I too prefer the fruit in scones, makes them nice and tasty.
Yes it did take a lot of wood for MrM to make the bird box, most of the cofee table in fact.
That sounds good news that your lad's leg dosn't look too bad now the staples are out. HOpe it improves well now.
My son is a lot brighter today thankfully. Eating more but a very restictive diet. But he has been a couple of walks today.
How nice for your son to plan a world tour, should be an interesting for him. Are all the family going too?
Hope you do hear from the roof people soon, because it is infair otherwise.
Wales are as keen as anyone to get out of this covid mess, but are not rushing to give exact dates of travel (like Boris did), until the scientists advise the cases are low enough, so its safe to open the airport etc, and I think that is the correct thing to do. Last summer we had very low cases, but we ended up the worst in the UK with all the tourists flooding in and the intenational travel restarting too soon. I'd rather take it slowly than risk another lock down. But I am hopefull and think we are ready in Wales for a big easing of local restrictions soon. I heard today we might end up opening some things earlier than the English dates, depends on the cases, but we are in full lockdown until 12th, and what mattters is its working.
That will be nice you have darts to look forward to again.
I am enjoying a lot of the current drama shows.
Yesterday, MrM drove me a 60 mile round trip to deliver a Gregs tuna crunch baget! My poor friend who has kidney disease, and on dialasys 3 times a week , has been in hospital with a blood infection, and she was desperate for a Gregs. She was very upset saying she was so hungry, so I figured we could count a trip to the hospital to drop something off for somone in need as an essential journey, especially as she had been in hospital for 3 weeks with no visitors allowed. It so cheered her up, the hosptial porters take deliveries to the ward and they said I can drop off any time in the day. I also put in some coke and 8 bag of crisps, and nutty snacks (as she is daibetic, can't have biccies).
Misty and rainy today, but went for a walk inbetween showers.
